Funny. I mean, have you seen the front camera used? It points down and forward to spot what’s ahead (with lines that show where the tires will track) when the nose is in the air. AKA this exact scenario.
@@OffroadTreks Ive owned dodge trucks since 2002, have owned 2 power wagons (Fully Loaded to the hilt) (own a 2018 Power Wagon Now), owned 4x4 1/2 tons and have never seen a Larmie Power Wagon.. Are you sure the guy didn't put a winch on a 3/4 ton Larmie and some 2015 Chrome letters on the tail gate?? Don't get me wrong, he did a helluva a good job going up hells gate, its just odd to see it with the power wagon on it... Take it easy!
Stock Power Wagon Suspension at the time on the stock 33's - a bone stock wagon can do most of the trails in Moab. 35's will make a lot of stuff easier. 37's will have you clearing everything easily. We've run lots of Power Wagons through Moab over the years.
Great driving JorDanee! You have a great spotter too. It's always nice going with people who know how to spot your particular rig. Did you exit via the regular exit, or did you backtrack?
GREAT Job JorDanee! Thumbs Up added. Hey, of all the trucks in this outing, this is the only one that appears to have aired down significantly. What pressures were you running, and how did it work out compared to fully aired (stock tire equipped) 4th Gen PW's? I leave mine aired up on the rocks and go down pretty much exclusively in the sand. I would be afraid to pinch a sidewall or nick a wheel, damaging the bead or something aired down on the rocks, especially side-hilling and sidewall scuffing up V's, etc. Love the vids. / Brakelate /
Sorry I never saw this comment. We had air'd down to about 28psi I believe. And this run was on stock tire equipped PW. You should always AWALYS air down when wheeling on rocks. Air'd up you are twice as likely to ruin the tire. Air'd down allows the tire to grip rocks better and wrap over obstacles. There are some good demonstration videos of this out there.
Range Rover should be able to. And in theory a Raptor should too, but probably with a different line. The Raptor's problem on tight trails is that it's wider than the Range Rover and the Power Wagon.
Sorry typo I want to say that I have seen and heard that raptors have made it through hell's gate but yes bold&adventurous is right abt the size of the raptor
Actually someone came out with a kit for the 6.4L truck hemi recently, saw it on Ramforums.com - might of been kenny bell - Dunno if anyone has bought one yet. I think a charger would be great. But I'm getting my steel bumper first. ;) lol
This obstacle is about 100x easier for any long wheel base vehicle than it is for short wheelbase vehicles. You'd have to be a complete idoit to roll a truck on this. But a short wheelbase, like a 2 door JK or CJ it's a lot more difficult. More places to get wobbly. Same thing with Tip over Challenge. Raptor, Chevy, Ram can drive right up it without much of anything. But Jeeps flip on it all the time. Moab is funny like that.
If they just make these things again with a regular cab instead those ugly ass 4 doors they'd be a awesome machine , why can't t4uck makers make regular cab anymore
I've done Hell's Gate in a JKU, now I have a Ram 3500. Looks like I'll be doing it again. Can't wait.
It will be easier in the Ram. The long wheel base excels in a lot of tippy places all over Moab.
An amazing video, thanks for putting this together! Love to see RAMs out there doing what they do best!
The best commercial Dodge Ram could ever have!
I can't wait to get my 2017 Powerwagon.
yes yes yes me too
Ken Hunter i'd love if you could get a power wagon with a long bed and the option of the 6.7 turbo diesel Cummins both automatic and manual LOL
I could never take something that nice and expensive to a place like this lol
Hey look it's a game of trust between the driver and Jeepin Johnny!! When are they gonna add front facing cameras on these things?
That is some good spotting
That's awesome!! I want to take my PW their 👍🏻😜

Bold&Adventurous post videos!!!!
The front camera on the new power wagon would make this so much easier!
For what, looking at the sky? :p

... them Power Wagon are sweet...
:-)
That was Awesome great job.
Very impressive.
good lookin ram
Never seen a power wagon with chrome accessories...
SWRNC PETE it’s a Laramie Power Wagon.

@@myfriendpete you can add the power wagon package to any 2500 trim.
Is that suspension stock? Are those 37’s?

I loved your run, I guess I'm just spoiled because I would have taken the run at 20-25 MPH...in a HMMWVH or MUMMER. U.S. Army.
Great spotting...
Holy molly...this is awesome.
Thanks
just cleared it @ 0:48. nicely done tho
Needs sliders and a couple inches.
Wow. I can’t believe that big beast can do that. Looks stock too.
Big Rig Rich it was stock in this video. That obstacle is easy for a long wheelbase. Harder for short wheelbase.
I have a 2014 Ram 2500 and would never imagine doing that in my truck.
My truck has an easy life.
Nicely done.
Could never do that to my 1 ton......good to watch though

I mean the entire trail, Hell's Revenge
+Mike Key Very cool, especially since she drove the whole trail.

I would love and buy a short box single cab Power Wagon
Mike S That's what I had 1977 440 big block unstoppable, now all you get are these 4 doors grocery getters
I don't think this is your So called grocery getter.
powerwagon is for real... can raptors, and range rovers do this
Range Rover should be able to. And in theory a Raptor should too, but probably with a different line. The Raptor's problem on tight trails is that it's wider than the Range Rover and the Power Wagon.
TheKingkingg No problem for a Range Rover. Not sure about a Raptor making it, though.
that's the thing, people think the Raptor is amazing, but it's setup for SoCal/Nevada desert running. Not really a rig for crawling.
I have seen and heard of raptor making through bella gate in the past but bold&adventurous is right that a raptor will struggle with its size
Sorry typo I want to say that I have seen and heard that raptors have made it through hell's gate but yes bold&adventurous is right abt the size of the raptor
I wonder if anyone has supercharged a powerwagon before...
xXBurntBaconXx Unfortunately, no. The reason is because God won't let you since it would be so threatening to his authority.

I've seen raptors make it up this with no problem lol

Because only you and two other dudes would buy them. :p
Because single cab is ugly... And gay.
