I love Sanjeev Ji style. He speaks on the face. No bullshit, just direct frank thought.
A suggestion to the young man. Cross legs or facing your foot towards the elders while talking to them is considered disrespectful. Similar to sitting and talking to a lady while she is standing or shaking her hand etc. It is not a sin. But, if you want to grow as a student of Indian culture etc, these little things matter. So far, we hardly have any of these young men who can herald our culture or to be our representatives. If someone is aspiring to become one, then understand traditions is important.
exactly.
Well said ..
The interviewer... so disrespectful. Kudos to Mr. Sanyal! So looking forward to the stitched ship's voyage.
Bacche baithana sikho yaar😢😢😢 your sitting in front of guest in India not in any western university
Exactly! Very first thing, I also noticed.
Who cares man - this is the kind of frivolous stuff that keeps us backwards. Judging people on their accent, dress, sitting posture. The guest doesn't care - what's your problem?
@@sandrew1563 no, some of the nuances matters alot. It doesn't matter if accent is wrong or sitting in folded legs. But a person younger than you in age, experience as well as in academia and talking to you showing his shoe at your face is not OK. Like it is not ok when people talk with lots of F words in close friend circle being absolutely insensitive towards misogyny in it.
We must teach our kids and I can give him benefit of doubt because of his age. He may be ignorant till now but I hope that he will learn his lesson and won't do the same in future. We all want good for him that is why pointing out it.
definitely not frivolous... if you find yourself at the centre stage with one of the strongest nations leading minds in front of an intelligent crowd, you should be self-aware, classy and professional... thats not a crazy idea! @@sandrew1563
Yes, it is shudra - thinking which is ruling the elites. focus on the things that matters.@@sandrew1563
Basic courtesy..never point the shoe towards the guest.
U should have folded left foot not the right one.
Sanatan respect ❤
Correct...he looks stupid, nothing more than that
I think it is a universal courtesy.
Respect is in the heart, not in outward displays
@@One_In_Training no, respect in heart should be visible in your conduct as well.
If someone uses abusive language to talk to you then will you say the same. I hope answer will be no.
It is important to point out kids mistakes instead of providing excuse. He has a long way to go. if he learns now would be good for him in future endeavors.
Great Sanyal didn’t even object to the boy sitting with his shoe pointing to Sanyal. Either Sanyal is not caring or the boy/organisers aren’t aware of respecting stage behaviour
Great conversation - questions and answers. Some friendly and positive constructive criticism:
- As others have said: dont point or show your foot to a guest or someone you are interviewing or in a professional matter...also dont wear ankle socks with a suit or in a formal setting.
- on going audio issues in these talks. we need to do a better job in showcasing ourselves, culture and ideas
- conversations should have a brief conclusion/summary and thank you rather than abrupt endings.
host is a simpleton who thinks he is clever
This interviewer chap has bad habit of pointing shoe towards guest. He did same in interview with author Gurucharan das.
Abrupt end left everyone surprised.
Host ran out leaving Sanyal on stage at the end... 😅
Very very disrespectful to keep leg folded towards someone when sitting very close
We need serious scientific, technical and intellectual leaders in our country.
Superb. Always pleasure to learn from Sanyal sir
Incredible Talk lovely looking forward for the voyage
🤘🤘sanjeev 🙏🔥
Sooo anyyooying to watch 😢😢😢
Feedback! This is not the right seating position.
The first thing that struck me was the young man's sitting position that is so disrespectful ... someone should have brought it to his notice. I couldn't concentrate on the interview at all. My opinion was vindicated when I scrolled the comment section to find it bursting at the seams with viewers with the same observation.
Such uncouth behaviour from the interviewer !!
Not just his bad leg pose but also creepy body language 😖
True! Moving with chair like playing video game in his bedroom.
Have the basic understanding of sitting properly.
Don't be so critical, he is very young and will learn when he grows old. Bachha hain. He probably grew up in American culture. On the other hand Sanjeev is intelligent and well researched person. I love hearing him.
Kitna bhi baccha hai baithna aana chaiye
yaar so odd dekha hi nahi ja raha
Learn some courtesy before taking interview...
Anyone got varieties of democracy interview link?
Stunning interview by Mr. Sanyal as always……Young boy who is sharp and will learn the culture…
He don't know manner of sitting
He doesn't.
The young man is clearly inexperienced and let nerves get the better of him. Needs to learn protocol and body language in hosting. I am sure he will do well with more gigs. 😊 Sanjeev Sqnyal as usual was brilliant.
Showing the sole of your shoes to your eminent guest is not the way do an interview. If the kid believes he is smart, he has got it all wrong!! How the boy did not get cramps is a mystery to me!!!
Coconut interviewing samrat Sanjeevi … amusing almost
Dear Diya channel. There is no South Asia. Pls decolonize your language. If you want followers.
You must be new here. We focus on showcasing the truth. If you want strictly narrative, there are plenty of other places you can follow. If we were only going after followers, we wouldn’t broadcast 90% of what we do. Decide what you want to do from here.
How is what he said wrong ? What makes you think India is not a subcontinent geographically?
Can you plz explain .
Because geologists have confirmed that the people of Bangladesh, Myanmar, Maldives , srilanka , Pakistan , Laos, Thailand are part of indian subcontinent. What is the narrative here? These are facts . I don't understand why ppl are so reluctant from correcting a misleading trend.
The west used to call indian ocean , Asia Pacific. Haven't they corrected that .Then why can't you , or do you need the validation of west over the confirmation of scholars in geography.
The interviewer seems naive. Seems to take western talking points at face value
Govt should sack JNu professor Arun kumar .. He has become too old to understand modern economics, he criticizes infra envelopment. his mindset is rotten. He wants to take India to stone age. He remembers Vyapam ghotala but forget commonwealth ghotala, 2G gholata, Coal ghotala, Bofors Ghotala, Currency gholata .......
The way that kid sits, is just not doing.
Putting your feet in front of your guest … learn to respect your betters kiddo … learn our sanskar
❤❤❤
😮 over confidence in his body language... he could have kept his leg folded on the other if he really wanted to sit like that.... maybe he was carefully selected to behave like that..
Mannerless conduct of the host makes this video unwatchable. Why our fellows try so hard to appropriate worst of western mannerism? Even westen fellows will have this much common sense not to point their toes towards a guest.
Interviewer doesnt know how to sit.
Baar baar mera najar ish ladke pe ja raha hai baithne ka sanskar nahi gai 😢
How disrespectful this boy is!
He is sitting with his shoe sole towards his guest who happens to be an eminent personality and a position holder in government of India.
So shameful
