PHILIPPINES SEAWEED FESTIVAL - Tawi Tawi Mindanao is Beautiful (Becoming Filipino)

THE PHILIPPINES IS BEAUTIFUL! AND THERE IS NO BETTER VIBE THEN VISITING A PLACE WHEN THEY ARE CELEBRATING A FESTIVAL!
In this video, I head back to Tawi Tawi for a quick trip to pick of some of the local "tipo" (banig) mats that I had made in Mapun. It happened to be the Provincial Festival in Tawi Tawi, so a delegation from Mapun was there. Known as Kamahardikaan, there are lots of activities, events, and performances that happen during the month of September. I was really fortunate to be able to witness two! The Budjang talent show, and the Agal Agal street dancing festival. Yes, agal agal refers to "seaweed" and they had a street dancing festival. It was really beautiful! The vibes were so positive, colorful, and I had such an awesome experience!
