Today we are in San Francisco, but not in California. It is a city in the Philippines on the island of Mindanao about 50 kilometers from our house. We are going to buy a ladder and some materials for our house. Then we went to the supermarket. I bought what we needed and didn't forget my favorite rice. We also met some kids, it turns out they are our subscribers.
We got something new at our house - a shed. I built it out of bamboo that grows next to our house. This structure not only provides shade but also collects rainwater. We also bought some metal barrels to use for burning branches on our farm. First Boris cut the top and bottom by plasma cutting. The next day, some carabao and children helped us drag the barrels from the road to the farm. We plan to burn the stumps that stick out all over our property. Our workers started the burning and Boria helped them by sawing some fallen trees. We have a battery operated chainsaw, it is very good for cutting small trees. In the evening we went to the farm to make sure the fire was completely out, when suddenly I felt a sharp pain as if I had been stabbed in the leg by needles. Turns out I'd been bitten by a poisonous CENTIPEDE. My leg was in a lot of pain. I read on the Internet that hot water can help dissolve the poison a little. Today we have a bad day, but we are still excited to share with you our successes and failures of life, in the Philippines.
