Lmfao this product in no way was made or marketed toward that type of buyer 😂 SFF is not for the poors. You are paying more money for less features on parts to experience a terrible building experience and thermal throttling anything mid to high end. Think about it like Min Maxing in diablo or any mmo, anyone who starts doing that is late game grinding and not having fun the way the typical player is doing it.
a case like this is absolutely not made for someone who has to save up for pc parts. I'm pretty sure that the ones buying it aren't building it, just paying someone to do the job for them
@@armandocardona6975 Small Form Factor (SFF) builds don't necessarily have to cost more or thermal throttle any more than a standard build. My ASRock A620I Lightning Wi-Fi motherboard and Xproto case were both around $150, which are pretty typical prices. You could argue that standard PC cases are usually cheaper, but motherboards for regular PCs can also easily cost $200. Apart from that, you might pay a slight premium for the power supply, but that's about it. ATX PSUs were around $100, while I paid about $130 for my SFX PSU. So, overall, going with an SFF build doesn't have to be significantly more expensive, depending on your choices, of course.

I just switch from greedia to AMD is probably never coming back any time soo cuz amd is just really great for money and basic gamer but damn this gpu and this case is just piece of ART best looking case with very simplistic design just pure perfection i with we could have something similar with amd as well.
This really reminds me of the Louqe Raw s1, notably the internal layout & the base. Obviously the panel assembly & overall ease of use here is much better/elegant. Awesome case & excellent video, as always!
Even though the Streacom SG-10 is $1500 to preorder and $1000 upon official launch, the modularity in a high quality, fan-less, and silent case is really appealing. I’m looking forward to seeing consumer temperature data.
Lovely, elegant, instant classic. I don't understand people that like a bunch of RGB lights and stuff, I find that tacky as hell. I would like more build paths with this esthetic in mind.
You can do so much better for so much less money and get it to look SOOO Much better. After Asus B/S with their defrauding customers over Ally warranty repairs... I dont' know if I'd trust the equipment in this thing to begin with. This case isn't "niche", it's just bad value: you can build better for cheaper and still get a similar aesthetic. And by "better" I mean you can get a case that can support cooling of REAL processors [we're talking those 12 core + amd and every intel...] cuz that baby CPU cooler is maybe good for 65w. This is the equivalent of a $5000 12 year old macbook air.
One thing you have to consider with an exposed GPU is the coil whine, in normal cases the tempered glass and side panels muffle the whine quite abit. If you get unlucky with the GPU model you buy then the coil whine will be very noticeable.
With how long I can find use for a pc and how uppriced apple sells their aluminium mini computers I can get the appeal. Maybe I will reconsider if going eatx (fractal design north xl chalk white mesh) for my next system is the right choice... 🤔
Extremely niche. Borderline unaffordable. Impractical, at the very least. Limited lifespan (depends on outside factors, GPU design). But it is pretty, no doubt about that.
You should re-paste the GPU and MEM, those numbers are way to high for an open air card. Everything about this case screams premium. I absolutely love it.
XiKii's case is waaay more precisely built than the Asus card they've designed it around - the fans aren't perfectly centred and you can see that as they rev up. As someone who's owned multiple high-end Asus cards over the past decade, I can tell you this is a persistent issue with Asus' build and quality control. But all that being said, it's still a super-impressive little case. I just wish they'd have designed it around Nvidia's FE cards because those are just better than anything Asus puts out.
Looks very nice but I see that as a huge waste of money. You limit yourself to upgrade just for the visuals and that is for something that's around performance and you also have that GPU directly on your desk, so you do in fact here it. Spending that amount of money on a case just for the visuals alone, is kinda dumb imo. Like that is your only positive aspect on it, the visuals. Everything else takes a hit.
What other PCs have the motherboard IO pointed down? I'd love to build my PC in a similar form factor to have cable mess routed out the bottom and relatively hidden.
I build SFF for the ability to put it in a bag and travel with it. Ignoring the overpriced nature of this case… it’s still not peak sff… might as well just do an open air build if you’re gonna use this.
Any thoughts on weather they'd release something similar for the upcoming RTX50 series cards? If this released recently, it is kinda sad that it only happened towards the tail end of the RTX40 series's shelf life. Still, this is truly PEAK SFF!
If the case is so purpose built for a single component, I might as well just buy completely pre-built NUC-like system with all custom components. Couple of ideas, like the GPU bracket on case and the GPU power clip, could be applied without sacrificing customizability.
Also unfortunately pretty much un upgradable because its based on a specific skew of a specific GPU. Waste of cash for literally anyone who ever upgrades.
Haven't watched the video yet, I just saw the thumbnail. But I KNEW you were gonna get your hands on one once Xikii opened his US shop. To those criticizing the price: think about it being an art piece as well as a functional PC. Still expensive, but also think about how much people pay for art to hang on their walls.
Now if you kept that beauty from touching internet you would have a 10 year machine! Just run an external m.2 for file transfers the old way. No need to upgrade anything unless there is a one in a million hardware fault. I have one machine left that I run that isn't attached to the internet and that windows 7 machine is a beast! As soon as you plug an Ethernet cable in your computer will start running slower and slower, you wont notice right away, it is too gradual to recognize until it is too late.
So you can only use one specific GPU, one specific power supply, likely only one specific cpu cooler, definitely no upgrade path possible and all of that for $700 I really wonder how many they will sell because i bet it's single digits
wow, that's beautiful. however, definitely not for me though. i'm actually at the other end of the spectrum, i only care about the performance per dollar of my pc, and everything else takes a very distant second.
Odds are you'd have a wireless keyboard and mouse with an art piece like this, and those can use the motherboard USB ports, so the lone USB-C doesn't bother me. And when you consider it's designed around at least $2000 in other parts, it's simply not intended for someone who needs to focus their budget on performance. It's clearly a luxury item.
I would consider liquid metal or PTM 7950 on the GPU, in this situation it wouldn't do much for performance in terms of FPS but what it would do is reduce the fan speed as they don't need to spin as fast to keep the GPU at the same temp
i'm not convinced. i currently have a testing bench instead of a pc case because you can create a SFF by yourself without compromise. i'm not willing to trade with a case that does not (referring to the gpu upgradability. i'd like to see an empty gpu unit that allows the users to screw a gpu chip onto it. state the necessary dimensions and we're golden.
vulgar waste of space..we see some good things like the exposed gpu being negated by useless elemens and very thick parts.. because is dedicated for the one gpu and made into a design piece overall rather than a PC. We need the concept of exposed GPU part of the body to be a widespread concept for any GPU
Got a intel 13700k and proart 4080 super in the s300 8liter case. Save myself a few hundred dollars. This case looks cool, but not worth that price for me. For those who are willing to pay gl and grats for them, however.
I think people don't understand why products like these are $600. It's not $600 because of cost, it's $600 because almost nobody buys something like this. It's super niche.
I have not owned an amd gaming rig in a long time now. I owned an old amd 8350 fx cpu with the 1070 graphics card. It lasted six years. I now have the best of the best for cpu's with Intel though. Its the i9 14900f and the graphics is the 4070. I always end up with the 70 at the end for cards. Except back in the day I owned a compaq presario with the 980 ti in it.
This really highlights how much engineering is needed to compensate for the archaic and stupid cable mess that we deal with now. Nice clean design would be easy if they redesigned power delivery. Also get rid of the gold "Geforce RTX" on it. Such a stupid gamerz! name. USB underneath doesn't bother me. Connect a slim USB C hub and attach underneath desk.
Its a good case. Made for enthusiast. The only reason I'm not gonna buy this is because Asus doesn't make a proart 4090. If it did then it might've been worth it.
Didn't know the loki power supply has a removable cage. I use it in a black ch160 and its appearance consistently stands out from the design. Also the placement of the power connector was a big surprise
If I am looking to buy a $600 case I am probably looking to throw a 4090 fe inside of it. I think it is really cool, but it's definitely made for a niche market.
To be fair, they never marketed it as an "SFF pc", rather, a "furniture art piece that happens to take the form of an SFF pc case". At the end of the day, that's completely fine.
It certainly looks good new, but give it a few months and see what it looks like all caked with dust from the GPU exhaust. It's gonna be an absolute PITA to clean and it's gonna look dirty almost instantly

wtf this is crap, expensive, no upgradability, hot temps 😂😂 very unique yeah for "enthousiast"
I would like more build paths with this esthetic in mind.
it is perfect with ProArt 4080 super! Thanks for introducing another great small case, Devyn!
600 dollar case and you need to buy a tool to work on it. Truly shameless design.
This build was the closest one I have hoped to when I first saw Razer's project Christine about 10 years ago
Ah, so this is why I bought my ProArt 4070 TiS months ago. Could almost replace my Fractal Ridge with this...
LOL hyper exepensive pc for "best look" and use an amazon basic monitor arm with messy cable management 😂
When I see this, all I think about is how annoying it would be to keep clean. You'd probably have to dust it everyday.
Nah, the dan A4 with a 4090 + 7950x3d + 240aio is peak sff at 11L. Insane gaming + multicore performance, good cpu cooling and a 4090.
If the case is so purpose built for a single component, I might as well just buy completely pre-built NUC-like system with all custom components.
Couple of ideas, like the GPU bracket on case and the GPU power clip, could be applied without sacrificing customizability.
It's beautiful. If someone else were paying for it, I'd probably get two or three.
Maybe hardware manufacturer's will catch on and we will see ATX replaced with new formfactors that are equivalent to this. One can hope.
So you can only use one specific GPU, one specific power supply, likely only one specific cpu cooler, definitely no upgrade path possible and all of that for $700
I really wonder how many they will sell because i bet it's single digits
The case is sold solely in China right now and so far, more than 200 units have been sold.
wow, that's beautiful. however, definitely not for me though. i'm actually at the other end of the spectrum, i only care about the performance per dollar of my pc, and everything else takes a very distant second.
LOL stupidly expensive case that doesn't even support the top GPU to match the price and is capped at 4080...
It looks very nice. For sure. But you have to use a very VERY specific set of hardware. This isn't a good idea.
I could never use this case since it would scream out coil whine into the room.
I'm getting some serious optimum tech vibes from this video - I mean that in the best possible way. Subscribed and looking forward to more videos!
I think it is really cool, but it's definitely made for a niche market.
theres nothing that makes that case 700$ and thats me working with metal.... the programmers maybe spent 4 hours...
Honestly for that price it should have come with the hardware for accessing the screws.
It's a beautiful case, but in my opinion the FormD T1 and the Dan A4 H2O still reign as the best itx cases ever.
To be fair, they never marketed it as an "SFF pc", rather, a "furniture art piece that happens to take the form of an SFF pc case". At the end of the day, that's completely fine.
Its limits & price make any justification for this case invalid. Futute Engineering show piece....😬
It certainly looks good new, but give it a few months and see what it looks like all caked with dust from the GPU exhaust. It's gonna be an absolute PITA to clean and it's gonna look dirty almost instantly
