Man about time someone made a documentary about this rivalry! Up there with the likes of Ali vs Frazier, Ward vs Gatti and Morales vs Barrera. Limon v Chacon is my all time favorite boxing rivalry! Thank you Man!!!!
Great work as always Jamie loved it it’s great that you’re doing videos like this and not just chasing views you’re channel is already great but doing things like this really creates a great legacy 👏 🥊life4life
Amazing Video. They do not fight like this anymore. Such a historic fight! When Sacramento Boxing was Great. Made me tear up, made me cheer. Thanks you for the amazing work. Paying Homage to the Golden Era
@@emanuele1334 good picks, but I favor Ali vs Frazier I over III. Brutal fight and although Frazier was gallant, it was more one sided in Manila than NY.
@@brianseneca3546 i can understand but the third fight to me was the essence of sweat and tears of the trilogy. Arguello vs Escalera 1 despite not close to the cards,it remains one of my fav fights too. Ciao dall'Italia
@@emanuele1334 Escalera just kept coming and coming even though Alexis at this point is maybe at his peak. Grueling fight. Actually both of their encounters were wars. Its cliche now, but the first Pryor fight will always rank high on my list. The right hand Alexis landed in the the 13th round would have leveled a lesser fighter than Pryor.
This is my favorite fight of all time. Both men were ready to give it their all and leave dead or alive. Sure there wasn't that much technical boxing especially on the later rounds but the strategic madness was addictive to watch. I watch this before training or before studying. Pure pandemonium!
Chacon vs Limon (all of them, especially this one) and Chacon's two fights with Boza-Edwards...are six of the most brutal, most intense and exciting battles the boxing ring has ever produced. Chacon might well have been the most exciting fighter in boxing history, he is for my money.
Yeah I would love to! For some reason the youtube algorthim isn't pushing this. Or maybe some people are just not interested. But Glad I got this out to share. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
I appreciate you making a video on this, knowing that it probably wont get much traction. The people who know, know. These two are very important for the sport. I can tell you love boxing more than getting a high view count. Thank you, please keep doing what you do. 🙏
It was in the top 10 for sure but the greatest fight of the 1980's probably not. The 1980's had some of the great fights in boxing history. Arguello ( my Idol) vs Pryor 1 to me was the greatest fight of the 1980's. Arguello actually beat both these guys by TKO. Leonard vs Hearns 1. Then there was Duran vs Leonard 1. Salvador Sanchez & Chavez both had some big fights in the 80's. So I would put this one in the top 10 not the top 5 & not the number 1 for sure.
I’ve only seen two of your videos. The Marvin Hagler one made me subscribe. This one made me wonder how do you not have a contract with a major company like Netflix(just an example) or a network that covers sports.
What a sad and beautiful story. Please keep up the good work brother, I really enjoyed this one. I really appreciate you, as I am sure many more people do.🥊🥊
Been a boxing fan for over 50 years. I used to love the brawls and KOs. Part of me still does. But nowadays when I watch fights, especially like this, I can't help but see it for what it really is. The dark and brutal side of human nature. Bloodthirsty fans cheer each concussive blow. Vampiric promoters and commissions living off the blood of men dragged from poverty and prisons. And fighters shortening their lives and ruining their health to make a buck and to release their own violent nature. Don't give me all that about the skill, toughness and bravery. If you don't see these bloodsports as something that should be banned, then you are part of the problem and need to do some soul searching.
After what happened in Chacon's life you just cant be feelingless to him and to his struggle. My best fight P4P

Thank you Billy! This is one I’ve wanted to do for a while! Glad I can create something like and hopefully adds to their legacy.

I would never call this a forgotten classic! Its in my top 5 fights of all time!
Yeah it's not a forgotten classic at all, at least to true boxing fans.
My number 1 above Gomez vs Pintor and Ali vs Frazier 3

@@brianseneca3546oh yeah that right hand from Alexis, it was like getting it by a shotgun. Pryor was an animal.
Is it red dead 2 music in the background? I LOVE YOUR CONTENT MAN.

This video, along with the "Too Sharp" breakdown, needs way, way, WAY more f*cking views.
Outstanding work.
Truly appreciated man! Maybe the algorithm will push it one day!

He was something else! Very underrated at time imo. You can’t not like watching the guy!
I'm glad I found your channel. Easily becoming one of my favorite. Great work!
Awesome, thank you Mikey!
This is so good. Can you please do more of these. So well done. Love the first part talking about what brought them to this point

Not just the 80's. This might be the greatest fight of all time.
