Really like the in-depth video and the chemistry you guys have is lovely. We’re from Jersey also, hubby and I, and I think we’re going to settle on this resort for next year. What time of year did you go and did you visit the private massage place on the beach? I heard it was great!
thx for the kind words..we go in March each year..kick start the summer season..we didnt go for the beach massage but Sonya from the spa wanders the beach and gives massages and my wife swears she has magic hands. Sadly Sonya was on vacation when we were there this year..dont "settle" on this resort, its beautiful and a great value compared to other spots nearby..embrace the trip..enjoy and we see you at point pleasant this summer
My husband and I are booked there for our 20th wedding anniversary in May 2025. We booked an Imperial Suite with the private pool. I noticed that I never see anyone in the ocean. Is the water too rough or filled with seaweed? Also, do you have a personal opinion on the location of the Imperial Suites? I see on the map that they are in the corner of the property, beach front, but there are other buildings close by that aren't part of El Carmen and wondering what is right next to them and if there is anything that would be bothersome. We are going there for peace and quiet and lots of naps.
the ocean has waves (its the Atlantic, not Caribbean) but its warm and swimmable especially in front of the imperial suite there seems to be less waves. You are correct, the imperial is at the "end" of the resort but if privacy and quiet is your thing youre going to love your choice..next to your room is a row of trees and then Castaways restaurant and another resort but you wont even notice either, there a big enough gap
sooo. i guess its a matter of preference. PBC had an amazing clear calm ocean but the resort was small and "old" and the food choices although was good, it was limited. I could go to either tomorrow and be very happy but I'd pick EEC 9 times out of ten
I stayed here in 2022 it was just ok.. The water in the rooms smelled of sewage.. It was a lot of pan handlers on the beach while you tried to rest.. The food was ok, but it was never consistent.. I prefer excellence oyster bay in Jamaica even excellence Punta Cana was better in my opinion..
we alternate between the 2 resorts EOB and EEC and food is subjective, we like what we like. We get to know the vendors early and they know to keep it moving, we're not buying...fortunately, we never smelled sewage..that must have sucked
Booked for our ten year wedding anniversary. I am looking forward to it!
awesome and congrats

Is the Pineapple Beach Club better than Excellence. We have stayed at the Excellence before but the beaches were just ok
