@brucekostecka4047 thx..I forget people can see these videos lol.. as you look at the water go to your right on the beach and wall until you can't walk anymore, go in the water there and it's like an aquarium..we didnt leave the resort the whole time so can't help u there...don't forget to bring something to hang in the outhouse and have some ribs for me

@brucekostecka4047 while you're there find our orange llama .. there is a really good Facebook group that I recommend you check out before you travel. Group is very helpful and informative

Well there's more similarities and differences. I'm a bigger fan of the staff at El Carmen because we forgot to know them over the years and it's like seeing old friends. Here's the differences the beach at Oyster Bay is smaller but the ocean is calm and blue. The beach at El Carmen is bigger, you can walk from literally miles, the ocean is rougher because it's the Atlantic . the rooms are very much the same and the restaurants are equally comparable. We liked everything we ate . I could go to either tomorrow and be equally happy..but I'd go El Carmen 1st..better sunrises and I walk a lot

"Have to" no, but we like to tip everyone for everything..the employees are the reason we go there, they treat you so good

we alternate between the 2 resorts EOB and EEC and food is subjective, we like what we like. We get to know the vendors early and they know to keep it moving, we're not buying...fortunately, we never smelled sewage..that must have sucked

the ocean has waves (its the Atlantic, not Caribbean) but its warm and swimmable especially in front of the imperial suite there seems to be less waves. You are correct, the imperial is at the "end" of the resort but if privacy and quiet is your thing youre going to love your choice..next to your room is a row of trees and then Castaways restaurant and another resort but you wont even notice either, there a big enough gap

thx for the kind words..we go in March each year..kick start the summer season..we didnt go for the beach massage but Sonya from the spa wanders the beach and gives massages and my wife swears she has magic hands. Sadly Sonya was on vacation when we were there this year..dont "settle" on this resort, its beautiful and a great value compared to other spots nearby..embrace the trip..enjoy and we see you at point pleasant this summer

Thx...the breeze keeps the temp down so not to windy at all..the seaweed was a little heavy once when we were there, the other 2 times none at all..mother nature does what she wants...we love it there and it's a great anniversary spot

@zmodica another question please. We will probably be doing a club room. Do you have to do reservations for Bali beds at the beach? If so, how do you make them and do they cost extra? Thx

@@tfwbuftoatl12 2 answers..there is a "private cabana" that you can rent daily for 90$..we always spend 1 day there per visit, it cuts you off from everyone but we like that..the other ones are first come first serve daily but if you tip the beach consierge (David, Inez, Andronio etc) they will set if up for you daily and hold it..we give them 20$ and the next day its all ours

sooo. i guess its a matter of preference. PBC had an amazing clear calm ocean but the resort was small and "old" and the food choices although was good, it was limited. I could go to either tomorrow and be very happy but I'd pick EEC 9 times out of ten

Although the beach is somewhat small compared to other places, the ocean is like a swimming pool ...calm and clear

Not mine..the room next to us, the kid was celebrating his birthday and his friend kept taping up pics of him as a little kid..very funny

40 mins from the airport...such a great beach and food..the resort is small but i highly recommend it

its our second visit and we booked the third as soon as we got home...food is a subjective conversation..we liked everything we ate (never a bad meal)..i could have that jerk chicken everyday though

Thank you, no there is no trolley that I'm aware of. However there's not too much walking to be done to get anywhere you need to be. I would request being in building five so you are centrally located for everything and keeping your walking to a minimum if that's an issue

We always get the excellence club just for the beach access. The bali beds are first come first serve but if u tip David the first day well, he'll hold a bed for u daily as long as u tell him youre coming. There is a private cabana that u rent which is nice too. Its a great resort..enjoy

I would guess 4 feet on the infinity and main pool..we never got around to the 3rd pool

The dinners were very good, the outhouse was my favorite, the lunch and breakfast buffet were just average and repetitive but not horrible

Soon..that lady can freakin' sing..band is inspiring, so much talent and passion for the material

Its open air so theres a constant ocean breeze..not hot at all

welp, we're almost 60 and had no troubles but we had a beach front room. I suppose the rooms in the back had some walking and were up on a hill, so that would add some steps to your day. The outhouse restaurant is a hike up a hill, but you can get a golf cart ride just by asking the front desk. The guests were mostly our age group too. Its a beautiful resort, i highly recommend it

Excellence club beach has 10 or so cabanas that are free but there is also a private cabana was extra but worth every dollar(80$ for the day with a personal assistant)...rooftop pool was great but we are beach bums so we spent most of our time in the sand. Our transport was arranged by our travel agent. Beautiful resort, you will love it
