Love Jeff Beck, since There and Back. Love his work with Simon Phillips. And now @Anika Nilles. What a sound she gets from those Tama/Meinl. @2:02 wow. Nuts
@@mickchilly1112She was fine but I was expecting Vinnie .......so drums were it a bit of a let down. Comments about her injury may explain he sounding a bit stiff
@@paulw3745 wasn't to impressed with her at all. Don't get me wrong she's OK. But really doesn't fit in..But JEFF always tried something different...Truthfully maybe he could have got Anyone. Drumming. His choice I'll respect That.
Shout out to the absolutely wonderful Anika Niles on drums who, i believe, had to switch to playing all her bass drum parts with her left foot for a good portion of the tour due to an injury, in effect meaning she was playing with her feet on the wrong way round....
Great stuff! I wish the cello was a bit easier to hear in the mix. I love the way other strings he has worked with in the past inter played with him on guitar. I'm thinking Lizzie Ball and Sharon Corr.
Oui, c'est vrai...il ne reassemble a personnel d'etre et il continue sa creativite en jouant des choses que personne d' autre ne peut jouer ou meme penser a jouer. Il continue d'etre original. ....Je parle peu francais.😎
If I turned up for a gig by the best guitarist around and then was treated to loads of the actor fella, I'd want my money back. Jeff Depp and Johnny Beck? Not for me!
Yes..agreed...Depp is good actor....he's no musician.. a lot of long time Beck fans were a bit pissed off to have to listen to Depp try to sing... he took up 25 mins of the show. Dressing the part and posing only works for acting, not music. Ive lost respect for Beck..yeah he can do whats.... his audience is now a lot of middle aged Depp fans who dont know who Beck is. Im out.
Jeff always just sounds that good, it's amazing.
KEMO SABE! Much love Billy and RIP Tommy B
When I hear this song, I think of the late great Prince. RIP Prince❤️🎸
or Billy Cobham and Tommy Bolin

Anika Nilles! Yes! Well rehearsed...she knew her parts ! What a dynamo!..Awesome fills with double kick pedals!
The Drummer Sounds like She's Struggling a bit..don't think she was a real good Choice..Very Ordinary.

Please Jeff try to ask Gavin Harrisson for a video session.
Drummers good!!
anika kickin ass
No energy here. We miss you Vinnie.
many thanks elefan. Is that Esperanza Spalding on bass, do you know ? Really well recorded, you have any more from this concert ?
Spalding would be awesome with Jeff...but this bassist is Rhonda Smith....Rhonda has played with Jeff for uears.
Rhonda Smith also played in the late great Prince band too for many years. She is awesome bass player.
c'est incroyable juste quelques minutes et rien qu'au jeu et au son de la guitare tu sait déjà que c'est Jeff beck

And then there's that rocking bass. Rhonda Smith.
Annika Nilles-Porcaro! 😆

So I guess you wont be buying the album by the two? Of course you are. Such hypocrisy 🤦♀️🤡
@David Roidtiz umm jeff beck announced like 3 days ago they were putting out an album by end of mth

@@amyhurst is English your second language? ..cuz thats the only legit excuse for your crappy writing and grammar.
Enjoying the show without the Johnny Depp experience.
We all need a Johnny Depp BREAK~~
I was there, if JD had joined for 1 or 2 it would have been a pleasant little extra. But he was there for 7 of the 18 performed, too much!
A little loose.
