    No 5 minute self serving egotistical channel intro with wild music, no endless blabbing taking half the video talking about what you'll talk about, no selling t-shirts with your name in 1,000 pt font, no constant cgi of flying hands, bells, buttons and rings on screen of subscribe and notification and no "lets get right into this.....but first" blurb over and over. Absolute perfect to the point, all others take note, this is how you get a subscribers. Thanks brother..

    I made my way here from a pop-out-video version of this JUST so I could thumbs-up this video and subscribe to check out the rest of your stuff. I've owned one of these for years and done the 'top half (sorta) with the tool and fighting with the bottom half using pliers and screwdrivers' thing all this time. I need to go do this like RIGHT now...let's see if I can do this correctly this time around! I'd always felt sure I wasn't using it quite right...now I know I wasn't, but now I also know HOW, maybe!
    Also...in my Honda Civic, I also use the 'spin a spring on/off' end to press in on and rotate the hold-down clips while just using one finger to keep the back-side part of the clip's pin from rotating with it. Boop! That part has always been like 5 seconds to get on or off unless I drop a clip first...then it's like 10 seconds, maybe 20 if I got it dirty and wash it off first.
    So...from Sept 2022; thank you for this simple, USEFUL video!
    Oh no...this is not only his most amazing video...it's the ONLY video! Drat...I was hoping to have a dozen "Tools I never realized I was misusing all this time" lessons or something. : D Still...yay for this wickedly-useful one-and-only video!

    • @EShirako
      @EShirako 2 года назад

      Yeah, I've had the springs take off and either slice a small sliver off of me as they took off, or...well, sometimes even 'and'...they rocket off into the distance when doing this in a garage or parking lot and I hear a "TOOMP!" as it hits somewhere else in the lot. Oy...I've never FOUND the dent from one, though I have looked, but I suspect I just didn't see what had actually happened so I always felt guilty. Maybe this time I can simply feel effective at last!

    I've been reminded of a valuable lesson thanks to you. There is something infinitely more important than having the right tool - you must know how to use it to the fullest extent. I fought with the self-tensioning spring for more time than I want to admit. After a fortunate search I found this demonstration. I was then able to execute in the same fashion as you did. I am beyond grateful. Have a good day.

      @EShirako 2 года назад +1

      I always knew I was using them at least POORLY if not wrongly...it was mostly 'wrongly' but some 'poorly' too. Now to go put this to use! I have a new spring set, still got my tool, decided to try to search up instructions BEFORE I wrestled with my springs...and now to see what happens! Even if *I* fail, his video has made it so I'll simply work out how to use the brake-pliers properly in the future, but I really think they'll work quite nicely now that I know!
      ...which means maybe I can't find my tool when I go to look for it, but I can only solve so many problems at the same time. :) Now to go test my new lessons if I can!
