You should have the rims painted black. I got mine done at my local Lexus dealership and they charged me $150 per rim and that also includes slightly bent rim repair and they make them straight. The shakiness on my IS has improved after this but will not go away completely due to the fact that I have 2 inch spacers. It only shakes a little when I’m going 160 mph on the highway.
I’ve thought about black wheels.. but I really like these wheels. I feel like black would hide them a lot. Not only that, but I really like how the light silver looks with my grey paint. It’s just personal preference. I appreciate the insight though Brandel! 🙏
Thanks for the code and sharing the link man!!! I've been wanting to do this but finally pulled the trigger. Keep up the good work and look forward to making a similar video on my YT💯
Of course my man! I’m glad you’re finally pulling the trigger. It’s such an easy but useful mod. I appreciate your kind words. I’m looking forward to watching your video🙌
I would remove that sicker covering the brake light, a cop could hassle you over it and it impedes the light for over drivers, but the strobe does help to counteract the coverage
I’m having mixed emotion on wether I should remove all of them. But totally get what you mean about the one specifically covering the third brake light. Thank you for your concern.
hey man! how fast does the blinking occur during braking? I wanted to get this and you just magically uploaded haha. Also is it a solid red when not braking?
Hey there! I’m glad I conveniently uploaded this video. When braking, it flashes really fast for a second, then flashes slower for a second, then holds a sold red for the remainder of the pedal being pressed. And it stays off when not being pressed (like it normally would). I would think it would confuse drivers if it stayed a solid red constantly.
Hey my man! I appreciate you. I recommend checking out my best first mods video, as well as my other mod list videos. I always recommend to other the modifications that I do to my car. 🫶
Hey Mr. Grey, hope all is well, just wanted to let you know whenever you decided to upgrade your wheels, I'd be happy to buy your stock f-sport wheels. Please let me know and Thanks! :)
Have you done the figs bushing and f sport sway bar change? I’m having trouble finding f sport sway bars for my Lexus 3IS 350. Seems Lexus is not producing them for this model, I only found ones for is350c~ but these should be the top 2 mods done, or so many people suggest~
I believe you are talking about the LCA bushings. And yes! I have changed mine out to the RCF LCA bushings. They help a lot with the inter tire wear. You can also do the figs LCA bushings, but they are pretty stiff.
Thank you! I totally get that. However, due to the light being an LED, it should have a pretty long life regardless. Didn’t really think about this though, good point!

You don’t necessarily need a BOV, but it would be cool! TTI makes a diverter valve, but that’s the closest thing to a BOV for these cars. I recommend a cold air intake and turbo muffler delete first. Many people are interested in BOV’s for these cars, but it’s hard to gather reviews for it because not many have installed it and gave their thoughts and opinions.
I also heard it isn’t easy too install and an overall headache because of the location it would be in and possibly causing leaks so yeah stick too turbo delete and cold air intake and maybe even a better exhaust and you would be more than happy with the results
That was one of my first mods bro. I previously had a lowered Acccord back in the day and had to have it to let the people behind me know I was SLOWING DOWN for the railroad tracks and other crap in my area lol
It’s definitely a great addition. And true about the railroad tracks! If I have to slow down a lot, I throw my hazards on. This will just be the icing on the cake.
Due to the glare and my dark tint, it is a little hard to see on camera. It is much more visible in person. I’ve also recently changed up my decals so that there isn’t one covering the 3rd brake light anymore.
1 : strobe brake lights are a big L 2 : That’s actually illegal in a bunch of states 3: Your definitely not doing it for “ safety “ 4 : I bet you think that’s cool right ?
1: Not an L, more modern. Most new cars come with a strobe 3rd brake light, also it's federally legal to modify your own brake light. 2: The only laws that matter is the state's that your car is registered in. The same reason if I drive to a state with stricter emissions I'm allowed to have a modified exhaust, or have 5% tint on my front windows. (The most common exception to this being Underglow lighting, you will be ticketed) 3: Definitively safer than a standard brake light's function, especially with the frequency of inattentive drivers. 4: Very cool, very safe modification. Would recommend.

@@Grey3IS… much appreciated!
I wonder if anybody ever tried wiring that module in with the taillight brake lights not just the 3rd brake lights?
Ooo! That would be cool wouldn’t it.

Unfortunately, I don’t think so. I’m sorry man!
