Happy Vlogmas! Yay we got a Muffin Baby! I'm so excited to finally introduce you guys to her :)
Muffin is now the newest member of the family! Hotdog is no longer an only child :,) Muffin is 3 months old (Hotdog is currently 9 months old!) and they hang out lots together now :) I'm so glad Hotdog can have a little friend, and the doggies are very happy now :) Please comment "🥬" if you read my secret little message today!

I have a ferret named Corn Cob that I adopted from someone who didn't want him anymore. He's 8 months old and has been on kibble. I recently switched him to a healthier kibble and have been trying to feed raw, but he's completely uninterested. What do you feed your babies? Is it a specific brand of raw food or is it a mixture that you make?

Hi! I am a super beginner to ferrets, so please take any of my advice with a grain of salt and do your own research!
I've read online a lot about slowly adding water to their kibble until it becomes a soup and transitioning to raw after that, but hotdog refused to eat any even REMOTELY moist kibble, so i just tried to get her to try to eat raw alongside her normal kibble. I found my baby liked egg with a little ground chicken in it most, so we started with that and as she started eating more of it i lessened the egg amount and then started adding more other parts of the chicken to the ground chicken :) overall it probably took me 2-3 weeks to get her on just ground chicken, but i think that was definitely faster than most? Make sure to properly balance raw, hotdog eats much more than just ground chicken now :) good luck!!!
