Both relapse AND recovery were good. Now if we’re talking for EM’s standard of music and depending on which persona you like , Shady or Em. Relapse is a master class of writing and storytelling. Like i said there are some dark songs on the album but if you know hip hop then you will appreciate it. It sure seems to me like you know hip hop. I would say relapse is better than recovery.
Oh one other thing. If you do those songs i recommended “ music box “ , “ stay wide awake “ and “ bagpipes from Baghdad “ he used accents to make words rhyme. Pay attention to that and you will see what i mean. You know Em , he does things for a reason and the accents were no different.
