You have to apply it properly. Use auto glass cleaner, not alcohol. Apply it twice for better results. I've used it for nearly twenty years. It needs to be applied about every 4-6 weeks.

IPA is more effective in cleaning without leaving any residue or dirt better than any auto glass cleaner so that's what I had used and for me the rainx lasts for more than a month and then the effect slows down. Nevertheless Since you vouch for auto glass cleaner I would definitely give it a try on the next application 😊
@@RahilChodanker I apply it when I detail my car. It's best to apply it after you have washed your vehicle, at home. I have around $200 of detailing products. One for every section and step for detailing. McGuire's is the best to use. But when it comes to the RainX products. Use the primary one for the windshield after you have washed the car. Then the 2 in 1 glass cleaner for the side and rear window. But don't dry the car off with a regular towel. That will leave water spots. If it is a dark vehicle. Then you'll have to just go ahead and wash it again to get rid of those. Use an absorber cloth that stays wet. It dries a vehicle the best. Never wash a car with dish soap. It messes up the finish. If they don't sell McGuire's where you are. Order it online, it's the best brand there is. I've used their products for eighteen years.
Absolutely, I do most of the above. I use Meguiars detailing products here in India. I have the ultimate series compound, polish and paste wax along with interior dashboard dresser from the same brand. For tyres I prefer formula 1
Finally someone from india has made a video on it. Its a great product used overseas.

Your TATA looks squeaky clean! I use wax polish on my windscreen. It has been doing a good job so far.
I heard wax creates a haze after sometime, but I will give it a try if you say so
And interestingly have used not even a single polishing product on my car yet

I have used this on my windshield and all windows last year. It worked for a few weeks but then started breaking down. The wipers blades were leaving steaks on the glass when used in traffic at low speeds and glass was fogging up outside when AC was turned on.
I don't know how to get this layer off completely now.
The product needs to be reapplied once it stops working as how it should be. Alternatively use rubbing alcohol to take off the residue product if needed

In night driving....that too in rainy season. ....the galss area becomes very dirty..and we all know road become black .....it decreases the visibility..and creates lot of reflection.... after applying all these products which contains wax..... Rather than using all these..try to clean your glass with newspaper..and water ..and wiper blades also ..with newspaper..and water ...and see the results...
I do understand your concern but this is alcohol based product and I have been using it since more than a year now and it's working amazingly well for me.
Newspaper however in the long run will damage the windshield as it makes more microscratches on it.

If you use the wipers after applying rainx , the coating gradually goes away and you are back to square one.
You are rite but that phenomenon takes a while to happen , it's not a permanent solution rather temporary like a months time

Can it be used on driver's window? Every time it rains, water droplets makes it hard for the driver to see side mirror with windows closed.

can you suggest a good isopropyl alcohol glass cleaner for cleaning glass...or isopropyl alcohol in its raw chemical form will be sufficient to clean glass?

I was using the rain x for the past 6months. But there is a problem with it in the night during rain. It forms a haze when the wiper wipes away during rain showers. It is advisable not to use on windshield. Whether you experienced any kind of haze at nights in rain
I did not get any kind of haze but I found out that during light showers you need to use wipers too. As there are smaller water droplets which form on the windshield after hitting the glass

I am getting this smokey windshield as soon as the wiper blade sweeps. Its coming out side the car and not inside the car and it only appears at night and when opposite car headlight light hits the glass

@@RahilChodanker its new. I think i should polish my class to remove that stuff. Car isnt too old its a creta 2016 model. I had this problem with my old alto back in 2015 but back then i asked maruti survive center to fix it but they couldn't. Last month when i waxed my car they told me they can fix it by glass polishing.

For windshield I will recommend rainx as the water rolls away
There is cheap desi version to do this, bt i dont actually remember. They use something like slaked lime

The average comes around 13.5-14.5 km I heard the normal mileage is around 18-19..in city mode

I used to get 12kmpl actually mileage not the MID .
Now get like 14-15kmpl.
18kmpl is highway mileage.
But 14kmpl is the proper mix mileage of this car

Actual mileage is 2-4kmpl less than mid . Actual mileage of 13-15kmpl is normal mileage of Tigor. Dont believe others or sc guys. All want to believe and be happy that it has good mileage
