I died laughing!! This is the best thing I've seen on dolls thus far!!! It's so true, it hurts. The only thing missing is the totally perplexed, borderline-frightened look on our SO's/friend's/family member's face as they slowly back out of the room after they ask us about our dolls or what we're doing with our dolls lately and we tell them. ^_^

Yah, I had the same thought about the spray (MSC). I kept asking myself, "So if I wanna do a face up I can go outside under my big umbrella we have out there and do it...oh...what if it rains...or its too cold and snowing. Garage maybe? Nah, I'll suck it up and hold my breath. If whales can do it, so can I!" Totally my thoughts the other day when buying more MSC. ^-^

I do worry about staining :D I just make sure to clean them at least once a month and to coat them in MSC to help protect them ;D

This is awesome, I have definitely done a lot of these (like holding my breath when spraying the msc >.< ) you are so funny :D
Most of BJD prices are varying due to various sizes and materials. A "typical BJD" is expensive due to resin being very expensive material. There are other japanese dolls, ball jointed alike, made out of vinyl - they're cheaper. Obitsus are also made out of vinyl and they're ten times cheaper. Why? Because vinyl is a moderately cheap material - it is used in records, inflatables etc. Clothes etc are also an issue - but if you bought a nude base you can still buy fabrics and make clothes on your own.

one of the very first dolls i fell in love with was a cute rabbit boy from there fairie collection...he was limited edition DX

Totally agree, I went through a wig adventure with baby hujoo wig, so now she has two extra wigs, one is way too big, one is way too small, until I got a customized fur wig, so she has a puffy wig with fox ears.
Oh and the boot part. SOOOOOO MEEEEEEEE!!! LOLLL!

Especially I've seen complaints about den of angels - that it's not a friendly, outgoing forum. Many actual doll artists than collectors often get their dolls banned.

Oh so truth! Specially the part of buying things online that at the end don't fit. $15 for a pair if MSD jeans is bargain, but $15 for a pair of jeans is not.

Too funny! The vampire UV RAYS!!!!! hiss was my fave, I think. I have that UV-block film on every external glass in my house...I can't keep a flower indoors, but my babies (& me) sure aren't getting a surprise tan!

It was surprisingly easy to apply, & it actually increases your house's energy efficiency too! I was getting way too paranoid about having to drape everything...this way I don't have to have heavy drapes on either the windows or the dolls (lol) & I only have to worry about dust instead of yellowing beautywhite resin, augh, the horror...
