The core in that sounds very much like the the core that Sab Neo used/uses in there hilts. I got one cheap off ebay, great for the price i got it for off ebay but the price that Sab Neo are charging for their "premium" products...no way. They are the ones that you see loads of tiktok'ers "review". Really like that hilt design though, reminds me abit of the Shatile Shan Old Republic style hilt.
I can confirm that they are legit for the most part. I bought a graflex with a crystal chamber from aliexpress and it came in about a week. It mostly comes down to the reputation of the seller
They're great, I got a Luke premium baselit lightsaber with coupons and discounts for only $75 and the quality of it is absurd for its price, it has smooth swing and everything

The aliexpress sabers "debate" can be summed up in a sentence. 99% of sellers in the US get 95% of their stock by reselling aliexpress sabers. Done, that's it. I see 250$ barebones hilt neopixels that cost like...$100 on aliexpress. Literally the exact sabers. Not copies, not different boards, like they are actually just resellers.
The larger resellers get their stock directly from Damien or LGT. Some of those smaller shops I could see buying from Ali then marking up to make a profit. For some it's probably smarter to buy empty hilts then acquire different cores to insert as an order comes in.
Most are from China and rebrand them. And basically aliexpress light sabers. Like in life you get what you pay for, and with aliexpress with little overheads can afford to sell cheaper
Like everything in life, generally the more you pay the better. But also depends on what profit the business wants to make, so that same exact model rebranded won't be the same price, depends we're you get it from and what overheads they have refect the price. The reason Aliexpess are cheaper as they are drop shipping, and very little overheads so can afford to sell cheaper.

Yes which is why they all pretty much offer the same models and similar electronics. Some are better than others and the price usually reflects that.
