Sometimes games with a lot of luck are fun to play with other people, if you are a more serious player you can still play as well as you can but still allows other people to win and have fun, not my cup of tea, but games like that are fun for the holidays playing with the kids or older folks without purposely playing bad, which feels bad, and also can be insulting to the other players

The third game is even worse. An Avilo was featured in a "Catching maphackers" video of harstem, i've also played against an Avilo around the same mmr, both maphacker. I bet it's the same guy. Same attitude, same name, same mmr, same sus moves. Highly likely a maphacker.

Ultras are definitely broken at lower MMR. Kind of like a ground carrier. Extremely easy to control and difficult to kill.
@ yea but avilo is grandmaster, we aren’t talking about players that can’t micro, use spell casters, or control armies while macro’ing. I don’t believe ultras are even close to a problem. Terran is meant to use drop harass while defending and slowly expanding. Avilo went aggro AF and couldn’t break his opponent, and didn’t defend/control well.
Also, if ultras are as good as carriers (which they’re not), I don’t see a problem with that, they are a tier three unit just like carriers. We are so used to them sucking that if they become slightly better than decent ppl are upset. That’s dumb, we have been trying to buff the ultra for a while, and as soon as we do, people get all bent outta shape.
The real mech player still plays but never ever will say gl, the one in this stream is fake lol

@@JohnCephas Siege tank, Lurker, Liberator, those are know as siege units, for obvious reasons. "Static defense" are buildings, that don't take up supply - photon cannons, turrets, bunkers, planetary fortresses, shield batteries, SC1 sunken/spore colonies, mothership-core era Nexus/pylons.
Spine/spore crawlers are the "same", but can move, which makes them non-static / dynamic defense.
@@JordanBiserkov I am aware of how the terms tend to be used. I am also aware of what static means. Stationary, essentially Which applies to siege tanks, but, if you want to argue that we shouldn't use the term because they can shoot whilst unsieged, at least lurkers only attack whilst they are static. Like a spine crawler.
@@JohnCephas hey, I'm not really arguing, just being overly pedantic. Great point on the distinction between Siege Tank (and Liberator) vs Lurker. Although liberator feels like stretching it, because it attacks air vs ground when unsieged.
