getting that CC out with the 5 workers without him realizing was such a clutch play, also really smart to build a medivac to bring more workers over to the base when you realized you needed more income
I thought when you flanked with the marines, it was brilliant. But i also think not having your Vikings ready to cut his Tempests off from his cannons when they went to go kill the marines was such a missed opportunity.
why no bunker when you see the gate and a tank at least after 2 cyclones... auto repair scvs later would've helped as well, they were following the army idling.
I was reading this watching at the beginning thinking like "oh another dude watching this thinking knows whats better" but holy shit not putting auto repair on scvs this whole time was a massive blunder god damn
@@pusicer hes a good ol broodwar player then, back in my day we didnt have no fancy shmancy auto repair scvs we had to do it manualy! and our scvs had 60hp until the zerg bias blizzard nerfed them!
9:38 - 9:40 seems to be the reason why the game stretched out so much. Never played SC myself, so obviously I'm an expert! Years of suffering the "you need to build additional pylons" might have caused some sort of PTSD and thus Harstem might subconsciously avoid his opponents to suffer the same fate.
Yes huge blunder, he should have killed the pylon, fleet beacon, cyber core and forge before killing the nexus. Would have been send a drop ship and the marines instead of the vikings too probably.
@@Rohit0406 I'm not so sure. He needed the vikings back home to defend against the tempests. Stopping mining at the main base was a must but killing the tech would have taken time he didn't have and building a medivac means less vikings.
I dont think he knew about your gold base. If so, he for sure would have attacked it, even if he only used 1 tempest for it or - as you mentioned - the oracle.
honestly he threw at the start so he got super lucky the enemy didnt notice the medivac load up workers or the fact that he killed cc and didnt scout with oracle, etc
I do think they should just patch cannon rushes out of the game. It is so strong and needs way more skill Holding It than Executing It. I hope they would make cannon cyber core reuqirement
lets be reall, anything defensive takes infinitely more skill then aggresive most of the time with timings. Every meta timing in the book is done infinite amount of times cuz of the powerspike it gives (and thus harder to defeat). The problem is this mindset of pros who think you should pull everything just to get a defense going (like this game where harstem is permanently forced to use his workers as an attacking unit, if he doesnt he autoloses) The reall question should be, why are workers considered a unit that needs to be equated to in balance. If the only games you can win is if you pull workers for defense, thats not good gamedesign or balance. thats flawed gamedesign and imbalancce, forcing you to do something, wich ,game mechanically, should never be required from you. This is how sc2 balance is now adays. You wanna defend an allin? you need 100 times the skill, scouting awareness, hitting defensiive timings, cutting workers, making the proper buildings. building the proper units, getting them in proper positions. And the allin ussually is just like "i have twice your army so i can just amove". Defenders advantage doesnt truly exist anymore. Thats why 100-200 GM are all cheesers and anyone above is a pro.
They need to patch this proxy tempest bs lmao, can't believe harstem is struggling with it as much as I do in gold league, not to mention the toss would have actually won despite clearly being way less skilled if he harassed the expansion or expanded more himself.

That was insane; nice that Captain hasn't gave up and ended up with a very satisfying W.
GG WP
That stalker kill in the early game was clutch

like he said sc2 is all about mistakes, he made less than his opponent
Well played and fun to watch
Intense game! And a satisfying win)
this game alone gave me anxiety
Why does is say RoseRating27 on the score screen, and not Gref? I'm about to put on my tinfoil hat, Captain...
Because he is in his friendslist.
Nice to see, that P is not only all time cheesing against Zbut also vs T😮
4:20 (lol) that was actually very good unit controle
I wanna see the moja response now :)
Great video 11/10 for sure
18:02 THIS! 😂
well played captain, i thought for sure it was over when protoss had that many tempests
That looked really strong, I would’ve lost

That's what he said
Harstem never autorepair. I am not sure if he knows the functionality honestly

Cause this game is really hard. Remembering to do things is probably the hardest part that even the pros can forget as you see
We don't negotiate with toss
I am clenching my teeth for a win so hard...
YEEEEEEES!!!!!!!

tempest takes like 7 seconds to kill one scv, not the harrasment of choice
What is Harstem Daily? First time Im expieriencing it
Edited: Nvm I read the descibtion
Really excellent game!!!
cool game
wow, amazing!!
so satisfying, how did you pull that off
honestly he threw at the start so he got super lucky the enemy didnt notice the medivac load up workers or the fact that he killed cc and didnt scout with oracle, etc
Brilliant
He gave him a lot of "Gref"...
i see what you did there. +1
what a game dammnnn
Gg

a thor would have made the game thousands times easier >:(
First comment and thus I build a pylon directly at the enemy’s natural!
heart attack game 😅
what is moja ?
An German Terran around 50-100 GM usually. Who i assume, out of this video, invented the best response to an cannon rush as Terran.
LOL gg wp

Nah cannon rushes are fun
@@catbertsis They are if you are not a target
And how u gonna canon rush zerg with that requirements for canons??...
