Special Note: I've heard complaints about frequent adds. It appears the group or persons who have respectfully claimed copyright ownership of the video and music have monetized the video, resulting in adverts. It is within their right to do so. Yet I've heard ads are played at inconvenient times. Nothing I can do about the timing of ads.

Oh my God l remember this tour. I was 16 yrs old Gino came to Cleveland Ohio. He played the Coliseum. Me and my sister were so in love with him. He had the song out l just wanna stop. I love this man still do in 2021. I now appreciate his great music. As well as his gorgeous face. I wanted to see him soooooo bad live in concert then. Never seen Gino live in person. I still want to see play a live concert even now 2021. He is an amazing singer with alot of talent in many fields of music 🎶🎶🎶. And yes l am still in love with you Gino Vannelli. The wheels of Life are turning. In Cleveland Ohio your fan for life 💋💋. As l watch this tour play out all of the screaming girls up front on stage. This should of been me. This show takes me back to my youth. No body wants to see Gino Vannelli live in person more than me still in 2021.
I was there too. Mesmerizing ☺️
I hope to see him in concert one more time before he retires. He just turned 70. Still fine as wine. I got to shake his hand and take a picture. I also took on of his albums and he autographed it. I couldn't take it. LOL
@@justvon3890 That's a beautiful memory to have. You are so blessed 💞💞. You will always remember when.😍😍
@@crystalfreeman9295 My daughter is now a big fan.☺️
I wish I had the opportunity to visit one of him‘s Concerts. Greetings from Germany. And thanks for all sharing their memories.
wow. It really takes me back to the days of great music when people had talent
Yeah, all talent has just disappeared. Not.
RIDICULOUSLY UNDERRATED!!MUSIC,INSTRUMENTATION,LYRICS, STAGE PRESENCE; ONE OF A KIND!!! THE BEST...
I like how you think...RIDICULOUSLY TALENTED
I just saw Gino Vannelli in concert on Sept 2, 2023. He was GREAT!!! His voice is STILL incredible and his backup band is fantastic. We had a great time. He is so worth seeing if you are a fan of Gino's!!
An absolutely good reply and review about the gino, I saw him in Norfolk brother to brother tour many years ago and knew he would never stop!
Appaloosa!
What a band! The amazing Mark Craney (RIP) on drums.
Yeah my thoughts exactly. MC absolutely mind blowing with this band!
Also nice to see Daryl Shredding on the guitar and getting back to his fusion roots between Genesis tours.
He is one of the greatest performers and singers ever. The live vocals absolutely reflect what's on the recordings. No trickery, just 100% Gino. Let's call him exactly what he is - a genius.
Only live can appreciate and be memorized. Hope he's happy abroad today, 2023🤩
Really "GREAT CONCERT!!! Once I started listening to this!!?? I could NOT STOP!!! I had to LISTEN to this the WHOLE WAY THROUGH!!! I'M A FAN!! FOR LIFE!!🙂🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍👍👍
I have so many albums from day one. All great!
Simply one of THE best artist (along with his amazing brothers) in the modern era. Did it HIS WAY (sorry Blue Eyes) and did not succumb to corporate bs. A giant in the music world. Period.
Spot on ! How true what you said about this incredible under rated musical giant !
His brothers are so awesome! I got to meet Ross and he gave me a hug and I nearly fainted.🤭
Love Gino. Loved him in the 70's and 80's. I still love his music today.
Me too. I so appreciate his vocal ability and precise singing. There are not many composers that can equal this guy. His music is in a class all its own. Superb! 🎶🎤🎹👏👏🥇
Me too
Me all the same mentioned all here.
My god, this is a stunning presentation of a performer with no equal. As a fairly new Gino fan, though I am his age, this is absolute heaven...thanks, pal.
Most welcome, Richard. Glad you appreciate.
What a phenomenal entertainer. Hoping he will perform in CA in 2021. Always wanted to see him live. These songs remond me of my 20's listening to Gino on the radio. Love this man's voice. It blows me away how perfect his pitch is and songwriting. There are few masters of music like him. 🎼🎶👏👏
I have seen Gino Vannelli in concert four times. I think I was at a 1979 concert in Los Angeles. Saw him in a smaller venue in Hollywood. In the 90s Los Angeles and his last concert in Los Angeles 2015.
@@SWDH13 luck you. I hope I will get to see him this year. Would love to hear him perform at the Saban Theater again in Los Angeles. What a talented man.
Most welcome. Glad you enjoy.
Waaaaaaay ahead of his time. Simply one of the best. Underrated to the hilt. Thank you Gino. ❤️
I recommend to everyone, check out his more recent shows as well. Truly one of the greats, who always brings fantastic musicians along for the ride. The sophistication of his recorded music is absolutely recreated and actually heightened live.
Your one of a kind my brother Elvis Sinatra Tom Jones and the Beatles should shake your hand you took it to a whole new level brother to brother thank you for the joy and tears you truly touched my soul 🙏🎸🌄🎶🎼
Phenomenal, perfection of different generation⭐
I saw Gino in concert At the forum in Los Angeles I think it was 1979. He traveled with the most expensive and Best musical equipment. Our seats were front and to the right. Great seats. I could not hear for three days. LOL. He came up from the stage on a baby grand white piano. We were so close I can see the hair flying from his head as he was dancing. Gino is part of the soundtrack of my life.
A year or so later I saw him in a smaller venue in Hollywood. My sister and I saw him in concert in 2013 Beverly Hills.
Wheels of Life…uggh gorgeous song…blissful vocals
I've been listening to Gino Vannelli since I was 7 yrs. old. I'm now 54. I'm so thankful to be in the same timeline as this genius of music and multi dimensional being. Thank you for the upload😊
Nichelle, you are most welcome.
I'm 17 and I wish so badly that I was from that era. Seriously hard to make friends today as an "old soul!"
My twin!
I have every album he put out. Got his tapes too.. I would love to meet him in person. He is beyond great. I sing along at home He also has a fan club in Anderson, South Carolina
Rose Mary, when time permits I'm looking at improving (brightening) the video image and enhancing the audio. May take a while -- many things on my plate currently. Look for that link/reference here in the future. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Only got into Gino in the last few years unfortunately after finding his "Storm at Sunset " album at a garage sale. What have I been missing ? Stunning songs sung by one of the greatest voices ever. Found "Brother to Brother " recently on vinyl and I am now a big fan.
Get the entire catalog!!! You will continue to be amazed!!
I just saw Gino for the first time, on Oct. 1, in Annapolis, MD. Nothing short of brilliant!!
a phantastic musician, whom I adore since the 70ies 🥰🥰🥰. Great to have this video now!!!
Gino, talento de excepcional nivel por décadas ‼️👏
Grew up listening to Gino in the 70s and early 80s. Thanks for uploading this.
I always found his music and vocals otherworldly, like, from a more spiritual world.
Gino, still going strong in 2024. Saw him in Hilversum, Netherlands. Great show and still great voice!
He is the best! There will never be anyone as good as he was and is!💖💖💖
Gino Vannelli is by definition a " Musical Genius". 💞

Gino reminds me of a poet ♥
100% !
I have tickets for his show in Pittsburgh, PA on Friday, 29 September 2023, 8:00 p.m., I simply can't wait! The last time I saw Gino was 1976 in Nashville, Tennessee at the War Memorial auditorium when I was a sophomore at Tennessee State University. It was a small audience due to people not being hipped to who he was at the time. At the concert, he made this announcement of, "I am going to performed as if it is sold out". And did he perform. I was simply thrill to see and hear such a talented individual. So, I am anticipating seeing and hearing him once again live and I know he is going to perform in a majestic manner. Wow, it's been forty seven years!
I remember seeing this, when it came out in 79. My Mom and I watched it on HBO and recorded it on BETA max tape...that let's you know how CLASSIC it is! Watching it brought back every feeling of Freedom I felt back then! Thanks for posting this!
You've most welcome. :)
Beautiful comment. Thanks.
@@gimmeanidicanusethank you as well
I was looking for this for over 30 years
Music's BEST KEPT SECRET , GINO V.
ídolo total y absoluto, no hay banda que se compare en calidad de temas y ni hablar de su calidad e interpretación vocal. Tengo todos sus discos y estuve con él como un absoluto fan las veces que estuvo en mi país.
He's my favorite male vocalist of all time!!! Had every album except "Powerful People", and that's the one I should have had! Been following him since 1991, but was his fan long before! Met him twice at Andiamo's, Warren MI, in 2017, and 2018! Waiting for him to return (my sweetheart Katherine and I are his biggest fans here in Michigan)!
In Michigan is where I first became aware of Gino as well. This show is from a Channel 9, Windsor b'cast. I recently reworked the video to enhance video and audio. I'd be interested in your honest feedback. Thanks. ruclips.net/video/DaP-ObxRQjI/видео.html
man , u missing his best album, it was pure fire back then
Saw him in concert twice. Excellent both times!
A brilliant Genius! Performance Perfection! Brillant artist, under appreciated...
Bravo Gino fai sentire noi italiani orgogliosi! One of the best singers and composers alive. His music will last forever! My favorite album CRAZY LIFE
TAKES MY BREATH AWAY.
My first encounter with Gino was this same year at the Lloyd Noble Center on the campus of the University of Oklahoma. The footage in this video could have been taken from the concert I attended. Same clothing, same jaw-dropping performance, same everything. This video catapulted me back to that amazing, life-changing night. I had a front row, center seat to a vision like no other. I was completely mesmerized by this man. Gino was like God and the Devil all wrapped up in one… and it was a beautiful thing to behold. I’ve never seen or heard anything like him since.
Thank you so much for posting this. You’ve made this 60s-something lady very happy and nostalgic tonight. ❤️
So true ! This man was/is NOT appreciated for the incredible talent he and his brothers had/have , especially in Canada ! WThell ? Are Canucks that uninspired ?? I bet he was more popular in the UK than Canada .ppffftt GREAT MUSICIAN
I was at the same concert. One of the best I have seen. But I was in the back!
@@canzuk4711 I can tell you that as a native Montrealer, his albums were played on the radio (CHOM FM and others) and he was quite popular here - can't speak for the rest of Canada, though, I wasn't there...As a young musician, I learned so much from listening to his albums! Great artist, great singer.
@gimmeanidicanuse Thanks for the upload!!
@@michaelmckelvy4674 NO WAY!!!!!!!! Wow. What a coincidence that we would “find” one another on You Tube via my comment! Amazing.
At the time, I worked in the football office for Barry Switzer while attending OU. That’s how I was able to get an incredible seat at the concert. 🤣 Went with my girlfriend, who was the wrestling coach’s secretary. I really didn’t know who Gino was; she talked me into going. I just sat there with my jaw dropped the entire concert! 😂😂😂 Good times, those days.
Thanks for replying. Small world indeed.
Mr. Brissette, back in that day we’d listen to CJOM out of Windsor, ON. Living across the river in Detroit, Gino was played there as well. Watched him on the former CKLW TV. Glad you enjoyed the video. I have plans to re-record from the original video for enhancement when time allows.
Um grande artista. Que Deus o abençoe!
Excelente producción, excelente artista ❤️

Simply AMAZING!!!!! I could pay an insane sum for a blu ray edition!
Me too!!!!!!!
GINO VANELLI É MEU QRIDO,COMO É BOM OUVI LO SEMPRE.
I had never heard of Gino Vanelli until I was given a free copy of Brother to Brother album after signing to EMI. My mind was blown completely. I don't think the UK have ever heard of him so he remains a treasure for the Yanks. He is amazing. Brilliant vocals, an amazing writer, arranger and composer and now I've seen him in a live situation he is even more of a genius. Totally brilliant ( I wish I was in his band)
Gino is actually Canadian. He was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec
So much energy, what a voice, what a fabulous band and all that hair! 😮😅
I used to play the Gist of the Gemini over and over.
I watch this over and over!! Such great music!
i cry for emotion...is a milestone of this world..
He’s So 80’s !! How did I miss this guy? I thought he only had one hit “For Your Love”, which does still give me goosebumps 😊👵
Ele está com 71 anos, nascemos no mesmo dia e ano.🎉❤
For your love is called I just wanna stop. He had more than 1 hit song. Living inside myself, The wheels of life, l can go on. I have his greatest hits. Gino is not a 1 hit wonder. Been his fan since l was 17teen. Now I,m 61 Gino has a lifetime a amazing songs 🎤🎤🎼🎼📀📀💿💿❤️🔥❤️🔥🔥🔥💯💯👍👍
This is when he was at his best

Wow!! Gino Is absolutely out of this world, as are the the master Musicians. I knew of him then, but had never seen as much footage . The 70' s and 80's were brilliant. It sounds Brilliant now . My Brother Jim , being in the business , used to be on the ball with any talent that was around. I am still
enjoying this wonderful music. it was a great time to be around. Thankyou Gino, Joe and Ross, such wonderful Family, and all the super Musicians. LOVE IT
:) So true
love him then and now a force of nature what a man and the drumming and band just fantastic
just 26 when I mentioned to some guy that I loved this, he immediately went and bought tickets to the Kennedy Center to see him, I thought that was very cool. never forget it.
Thanks for your love and support. I'm blown away by the love from you. Fans like you are the reason we keep moving
Mark Craney made this band, hottest drummer I ever seen Best Canadian Act the music was well written and every musician and singer top of their game great band great show no one in Canada has come close to the craftsmanship in this show Brother to Brother Tour was the end of a good thing ......
You are right on this late great rock/jazz drummer, but 4 1 thing he was not Canadian, and to say he made the band is well let us say a bit over the top, he did not make the band M8, he added a special touch (that a superb drummer like he was) to any group he played for. The Vannelli brothers MADE the band, Mark was the icing on the cake.
The whole band was smokin'... Mark Craney included.
Holy crap! Such different times indeed!! But I do love his 3 major hit songs. 1978. 1981. 1987.
So many ....other fan favs.....listen to jokers wild.
One Night w You ,coda..phenomenal…live version…much more deep than album verse
Holy crap, I was aware of his musical abilities, stunning vocals, and of course good looks, but holy FRICK he can DANCE.
I Love you Gino Vannelli!!!
Thanks for your love and support. I'm blown away by the love from you. Fans like you are the reason we keep moving❣️❣️

Really nice guitar solo from Daryl Steurmer
Sem palavras, SENSACIONAL 👋👋👋👋 Show espetacular
GINO, YOU'RE WONDERFUL....YOUR FAN...NUCCIA....BEAUTIFUL CONCERT
Ya I saw gino in 77 he was playing a piano an it rose from under the stage I was 15 I'm 61 now an I still think he's one of the best an he's a really smooth cat.

Absolutely amazing still
God Bless Mark Craney. And this amazing band.
Great jazzy drummer, saw him perform with Tull
Show simplesmente espetacular de Gino, e com o incrivel baterista Mark Craney.
Wowww...🤩
I saw that tour AWESOME!!!
Oh Canada, I the miss you! Mario Fortuna roots with first bf, 5+ years with Gino tunes. Corvette and et.😀
Kids in MI
Darryl Stuermer on Lead guitar is 🔥
We were at his 1979 Concert at the Philadelphia Spectrum April 21. It was fantastic!
In a class by himself. . Some of this footage seems to be from the New Orleans concert .
Spot on! You have a very good eye. Saw him a couple of times in New Orleans back in the day. I remember him having friends in town, in addition to his large fan base there. An amazing artist, with truly skilled musicians backing, made this a must see show.
5 different venues.
Wow Appaloosa on steroids... Amazing.
The Master at play
Loved Mark Craney. The horse race of chops with Gino's drummers gets in the way of his great music if you ask me. Mark was a GREAT groove player, an identifiable groove player, and his chops while great, never overtook the music. He knew how to utilize space and air.
As much as his new player is great, it's too much and is loosing the audience. Love Graham Lear too, his great original drummer on the first 4 albums
Mark’s playing on the Brother to Brother album made that record a must-have for all serious drummers. I remember being amazed when I first listened to it after buying it in 1978.
I discovered Brother to Brother through an odd series of circumstances 1 week ago. Was immediately grabbed by Mark Craney's playing. I've literally been seized by this drummer driving this band. Brother to Brother is now 44 years old. Completely in awe how good it is.
You are SOOO Right
Black n blue clip …chills
This video is great ‼️I have 4 Albums wt his music and he's my favourite male vocalist‼️🎯◾🔺JazzyT.
Thank you vert much, It was Greate show!!! Love Gino's ART!!!
Serge, my pleasure. Glad you enjoyed the video. There is a link in the description for an enhanced video of same show with better audio and video. Let me know if the view and sound is better than this video. Thanks!
Mr Gino Vannelli can sing I wonder why was he black balled when his music and him as and artist🥀and then everything about him was no longer around🥀I ßaw an interview and he is that 15 years had gone by since the last time that he had a concert here🥀and then he went on to saw just how very well he knew the streets of Beverly Hills because before the trouble with his music he use to travel those streets all the time🥀I know that happens all the time in music industry however I hate that it happened to him🥀so sorry that this happened to you❣️
Hes a dream boat
Excellent concert video!
I was a 17 year old girl, that had spent the previous 6 years basically imprisoned in her home (allowed out for school and babysitting) when Gino hit the States. His voice drew me in, but once I laid eyes on him.........O.M.G......Gave "it" up 4 years later because "Black and Blue" dropped onto the turntable! 😊 No regrets.
