The reason Zach and his friend experienced "shared hallucinations" is because the glowing wasn't exactly a hallucination. LSD enhances the perception of colour, so that's what that was. I don't know about the writing, though. Power of suggestion, maybe?

It's a big relief to hear this because every time i've ever done acid i see letters on any textured surface i look at and no one ever understands what i'm seeing. for me it's like 3D letters. like braille but regular letters.
personally: real, pure lsd is way better than mushrooms: mushrooms contain a variety of chemicals beyond psilocybin which will often lead to a crazy, confusing experience. lsd is just lsd, if you have a good source.
my usual mushroom experience is an "emotional roller-coaster," alternating between extreme elation and agitated fear for several hours; my usual lsd experience is much more clear-headed and insightful, with far less episodes of anxiety. i'll see the world around me visually warping in all sorts of ways, but it's not hard to realize, "hey, i'm trippin', this is just me serotonin receptors goin' bonkers"
how much of the mushrooms would u normally consume? above 3 but under 5 is difficult for a lot of people because with enough its akin to being strapped to the rocket and usually at that point not much can go wrong. but if u dont have enough your thoughts can influence the trip quite a bit and lead to challenging expiriances. def a lot more lucid on cid tho

A friend of mine tried LSD for the first time, the people who gave it to him left him alone (which shouldn't have happened), he went to the subway and fucking jumped as the train arrived, he died in the ambulance.

I think Zach is talking about 25c-NBOMe, the shitty off brand version of LSD. I've tried it a couple times and both times I had severe abdominal pain and lacking visuals. Wouldn't recommend if you have access to pure LSD.
I had a friend who accidentally took 25i-nbome and I got him to spit the tabs out after a few seconds (he had taken 3) which may have saved his life, he was kind of delusional and saw a friend who had killed themselves in the mirror, his hands were numb the next day. Dont ever take fake acid unless you're doing it purposely, know the dose, and know the risks, also try to always test acid, if you cant remember that if its bitter spit it out

Drugs can be fun, but it is extremely easy to fall into addiction and dangerous situations. Having been a severe heroin, coke, and xanax addict for about a quarter of my life I can easily say that they have given me both the best and worst times of my life. Try them once, do them on festive occasions, but do not let it become something that you look forward to or anticipate.

LSD has done a lot for me, but it is a drug you need to be careful with. The first time I did it was at a music festival and it put a lot of things in perspective for me. The last time I did LSD (not the LAST last time, but the most recent time), I had deluded myself into thinking I had died and gone to hell. Like, fully believed it. Then there was a point where I heard someone talking to me in tongues and I was seeing upsidedown crosses. Shit was fucked yo.
All in all, do your research before you do any drug, LSD especially and always be aware that you are high or else you may delude yourself into some spooky thinking.
