Yes sir it’s enough bike for me do a lot of weekend riding have pondered trying cross country racing keep talking myself out of it.

hell yeah. i did one w/ about half way through a lap 2 on my XR400. The old bikes are great. sucks when you don't have an E-start.
I’d like to try the xr400!
I put an aftermarket fuel pump housing on mine it took care of the of the bottom hesitation. First mod at the same time handlebar repair/repacement

@@timsworld8711 is yours the older slant FCR with a somewhat external rod? I adjusted timing of it since the race and it’s better
