(HOW-TO)S2000 Steering wheel in EK Hatch(Project R)

Finally was able to put a S2000 steering wheel in the EK Hatch. Much sportier feel and look to the driving experience.
Tools used/needed:
T30 Torx bit
19mm socket
3/8in ratchet

The steering wheel or the hatch? Steering wheel was free and hatch was 2700

What year is your hatch? I was told the s2000 steering wheel wont fit 96-98 ek only 99-00 but yours seems to be 96-98

I never heard that before.. As far as I know the S2000 fits the 96-00 years.. My hatch is 98..what I do know is the S2000 airbags are NOT the same.. One has a more advanced airbag(Ap2) 2 stage air bag or something like that and that might be where the discrepancy is being that the ek civic is all single stage airbags

@@FrancisD thank you sir i have my car in another country and wanted to know if i needed to ship out the steering wheen and a 99-00 column as well.. it was on a hondatech post i saw it but mine is 96 so we will be good.. thanks alot for the nice video and the quick reply i was concerned of the fitment dont mind the airback
