Finally someone who went slow and step by step for this process. I tried and gave up on this process a few months ago because all the videos I saw were edited heavily and big portions of the steps where left for us to assume. Thanks and I look forward to more of your videos. Side note, I am new to macOS.. been on windows for 10,000 years. Thx! ps your descriptions are being shortened with ellipsis.

Thanks so much Agent Smith! Glad you found it helpful. Hope you are finding MacOS to be pleasant with your transition as well. And not sure exactly what your last sentence is referring to, would you mind explaining that?

Thank you for the kind words! I appreciate your support for the channel. I have plenty of videos planned for the future. While baseball is in season it is tough to make videos, but in the off-season I have much more time :).

Nice tutorial. Just wondering, is there a particular reason you chose to install the micro text editor? I know you said it is for editing in the terminal but you can use nano or vim without installing anything extra ( I know vim can be a pain if you aren't used to it ), so was wondering if micro has any particular advantages that made you choose it?

Hi Jake, thanks for making this video. I followed all the steps but when I reopen the terminal it says:
    '[oh-my-zsh] plugin 'zsh-autosuggestions' not found
    [oh-my-zsh] plugin 'zsh-syntax-highlighting' not found
    [oh-my-zsh] theme 'powerlevel10k/powerlevel10k' not found'
I even tried re-doing all the steps but then it said "fatal: destination path 'zsh-autosuggestions' already exists and is not an empty directory." Would appreciate any support you can provide in this case. :)

Great tutorial, i'd like to get a shot on that but, using the power of "copy/paste" on the commands in the description, seems are not working. Seems like the command in the description are not "full". should i click on the link and copy what's inside?
