I love that the interview itself was so bland that they jam packed it with promos from other wrestlers lol. Goldberg really did have huge hype in WCW. I was a huge fan.
As an American, I want to extend a personal thank you to those of you across the pond for gifting us with the word "Dodgy" Its so useful and fun to say!
During the wars, I was totally a WWF guy. But I watched a lot of WCW too, and anyone who says Goldberg wasn’t popular is either dreaming or intentionally lying. Goldberg was massively popular. They handled him and the streak very well. Of course, being WcW, they ruined it with the Nash/Taser incident that turned out being his first loss. I always thought that he should have kept the streak alive, and gradually have Bill get more arrogant and unappreciative of the fans. Then he does something egregious (like spearing a face) for personal gain. Then he is a heel, but not a normal heel. He doesn’t use heel tricks or have outside help or use chairs. He just becomes more brutal and dishes out unnecessary pain. Eventually, someone like Sting has to end it. Could have been great.
They were all kinda dodgy, tbh. I like this style because I can't wait to see the choice for dodgy videos you might make for people like Mick Foley, the Miz or even... * WOOOOO!*
I remember renting this video as I was a huge Goldberg fan back then and I watch almost everyday. Looking back now I didn't really realize how shitty it was lol but I still have good memories renting this tape.
I learned that Goldberg can’t conduct an interview (wait, knew that), that Goldberg was not sure who he was fighting next (no, knew that too), that Goldberg didn’t need a “The WCW” counter, that Bobby Heenan should have become Goldberg’s mouthpiece (and been a major non-nWo heel), and uh, he has the charisma of a bump in the road.
I have the Sting Superstar Series VHS. I watched it a few times when I was a kid and didn't know much about WCW at the time, only WWF. I still enjoyed it and was intrigued.

Sneaking in another video mate! Its great.
Can we get a RUclips short of Goldberg saying he "wants to take down another member" because I'm a massive child and it made me giggle.
I love that the interview itself was so bland that they jam packed it with promos from other wrestlers lol. Goldberg really did have huge hype in WCW. I was a huge fan.
They're is a reason why jericho called him green berg
Are we sure thats not just AI Goldberg 🤔 cause damn he sounded like a robot 😂
As an American, I want to extend a personal thank you to those of you across the pond for gifting us with the word "Dodgy"
Its so useful and fun to say!
You should have been on the booking committee in those days.
"Take it back or I'll end your streak." 🤣🤣🤣
They were all kinda dodgy, tbh.
I like this style because I can't wait to see the choice for dodgy videos you might make for people like Mick Foley, the Miz or even... * WOOOOO!*
Why am I scared for this??
14:53 "Tony Shiovani" hahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂 WOW!!!!
You would think that WCW or the tv producers in the production studio would have known how to spell his name right LOL
I swear to god I saw Goldberg lose to Sarge on a WCW Saturday morning tv show.
I still have this on vhs, it was a double feature with a sting episode
I learned that Goldberg loves him some Perry Saturn. Everyone else was just an obstacle
I had those old WCW tapes
Left them with family & they lost them
🤦♂️🤬
RIP WCW
That raven promo was sick “ you will feel the even flow “ mad sick
Hogans interview was probably the best part of Goldbergs video.
Can't wait to see the Alex Wright video recap.
Nothing can tear down walls like sports and sports entertainment. I remember talking to friends at school and even making new friends over conversations about wrestling as a kid. We're talking girls, guys, white, black, hispanic it DID NO MATTER, if you knew what happened on RAW or NITRO you were at the table during lunch 😂. Love your videos man, they bring back great memories and simpler times 👍
Lol man this was tough to watch. But your commentary is awesome as always!
I have this vhs 😂
Cool video hope more videos like this come out soon
What an amazing production. WCW must be doing great now!
Bill Goldberg may have missed his calling as an ASMRtist
This video was way more entertaining than it should be credit to wrestling bios for making it a fun watch
N o comment at 19:30 is powerful WB lol you let it speak for itself
In that thumbnail Goldberg looks like the singer from Jawbox
