@@oleonard7319 you could easily do 2 runs a day for 8K credits, that 56k a week and 224k in a month, and I for one would think that is a decent amount.

Greetings from Sweden! Im also mostly a free 2 play player. Have bought battle pass on occasion, but only when I'm satisfied with game stability, meaning its been over a year since. Killing survey ships in mirror space is a new way to grind for factions credits. You can unlock a path in the mirror research tree to get to for example mirror Dessica. 100 chests gives about 3k credits of each faction i mirror Dessica. But the higher you go the higher the rewards. Also great way of grinding ship parts and faction reputation. First time I stumbled on to your channel, so I might as well give a comment. Cheers!
One minor point to the armada chests. Not all of them are equal. If you have the armada credits, go for it. But if you don't you need to prioritize.I am lvl 51 and I pull 3* Rare chests whenever they come up, because that is the best source of Epic Armada Tickets. I pull 3* epic chests, because it gives me loads of 3* epic ship bps for scrapping. I usually ignore 4* chests completely, save a few Uncommon ones. I pull 5* Uncommon and Epic ones regularly, as I don't think the Rare is worth it. Epic 5* chests give you ship bps and a very good amount of faction credits.
g5 and g3 are far better than the g4, agreed. I keep claiming them solely for the faction credits. If you take a look at the amounts it gives you per chest (and you max pull 4 chests of each epic/rare/uc g4) it adds up to a substantial amount, and fast. And here's the beautiful part, if get to run enough g5 group armadas with your alliance (and especially if you can solo them down the line by buffing up your ship), your armada loot income is going to flood like crazy, and affording g3+g4+g5 chests will be a walk in the park.

My genuine pleasure, Matthew, and welcome! Yes that is my intention, to help the F2P to competitively progress without spending a single $ on the mobile gaming "gotcha" machine, it is very much possible.
I'd like to make a suggestion for topic. For f2p cost efficiencies are almost the most important techs in my view (are they?). When ex borg unlocks it is filled with efficiency tech as well as the options in the faction itself. Is there a suggestion on the order of getting the efficiencies as the ex borg credits are very limited at the beginning at least. I'm ops 41 and currently halfway through a lot of the techs and only few in the faction (xondi loot 3, delay max and explorer discount 1). I haven't yet taken the frk sweeps as currently I'm dual factioning and need to kill the third for rep anyways. Swarm sweep I have but haven't managed to take the swarm refinery bonus yet even though I do use it for tritanium. Thanks and it is very good to see a f2p with Enterprise D. That is my current goal if I manage to keep myself in the game long enough :). Ps. I posted a bit more detailed view of my status with ex borg in Revs dc in the interview section. Yes, efficiency researches & favors are something that we f2p (or even spenders for that matter) should focus on first, but if we want to progress rapidly it's something we also need assess so we don't stay in a given ops level for too long "waiting" for that efficiency. I'm stuck mid 30's waiting for these faction credits to roll in so I can finally get my G3 Epic. JB this content is great and even though I can't take advantage of the voyager method yet due to the 100 day wait for voyager BPs etc, chasing scouts is still the best way to buff up the credit grind. Speaking of mid 30's and I know it's been a while, is there any advice you can give so I can make sure I'm well prepared for 39 and beyond? I'm at the point where I have my Talios, Cube, Waiting on Epic (Augur) + Voyager. I feel like my armada gameplay is bad, still working on stella grinds, officer sourcing is bad etc
Hey bud thank you for the detailed question! True, it will take you a minute to get the Voyager but I think that even if we take out that one method until you have one, you can still get a strong enough faction credits income to support all of your ship needs especially if you're able to take advantage of the other 5 methods. Armada-wise I strongly recommend being in a top alliance if you can, when I was a low level I was carried through armadas by my alliance's heavy hitters (and there is absolutely no shame in that). There were even times I had to send a high warp non warship because the initiation armada chest is filled with armada credits that can finance your armada chest pulls. It helps you grow faster and when we get strong enough we pay it forward. As far as ops 39 prep, I advise playing through for all of the loops you have access to at your ops level especially when the rewards will feed you progression-wise. have the kvort the vorta vor and anteres and i have the protector that i can do my faction ones with in the first g5 fed system i think baelos the next ship i want is the other g4 faction miners but they are way down the road unless i can grind the g4 fed miner BPs and the pilum im working on rom and klingon 1bil lock then do klingon then fed im ops43
I think the best time to start this route is when you reach triple faction lock, otherwise you will be losing a good amount of rep and in most cases I wouldn't recommend that.
Those were always challenging, 3 reliable sources are: 1. Daily max pulls of g3 UC armada chests, and if your ops level is there and can afford it - g4 & g5 UC armada chests max pulls. 2. Weekly - Cosmic Cleanup event store contains a chest which has a chance to drop some rare armada directives. 3. Monthly - Crucible of War, you can use the Alliance SMS currency to get armada directives (If I recall correctly it's 300 UC and 200 Rare armada directives), if you claim it right at the start of the event you'll be able to "manipulate the cooldown" and claim another towards the end of the event. @ I only pull the g4 rare if I have a stock pile of 2-3 mil + tokens to cash in. Otherwise I find you’re better off making sure you can max pull g5 and g3 every time.
I do skip some research and then go retroactively and completes it as needed, also having 6 docks reduces a player's power quite a bit when compared to someone with 8.

@revdeuce and I were very open about my account value status and it was confirmed by Scopely. My STFC account value is $45 while I personally put out of pocket $25, and been playing F2P ever since. The account progress you see here was achieved in about 4.5 years of playing (I joined the game in Feb/March 2020) These are the proven facts. You may use the advice given here if you find it valuable, or pass on it altogether, it's a free galaxy ;)
@@alanheller7468 No, not at all, not if you keep it T2 and the end result is bringing home massive amounts of raw materials that allows you to max refine twice a day, every day. The net gain is huge.
@@alanheller7468 Yes, bringing a Selkie to T4 is very costly and is not something I'd recommend. I just build it, bring it to T2 cause it's cheap, and leave it there. My average mining rate for each is 55-75k an hour (depending on mining crew+research) in the 1400 warp systems. Multiplied by 5 is 275-375k an hour, and a max refine for me at ops 63 is 720k, multiplying that by 6 (for all 3 minerals, twice a day) comes down to 4.32 million. This is excluding the daily mining mission mineral rewards we get. Meaning I can generate that amount in about 11-13 hours of passive mining with 5 selkies. That's why I decided to build them.
You could use some of these at G3. Hey, each and every one of us was an ops 36 at some point, and the bright side is - G3 & G4 economies got boosted since the game was released so you will grow even faster than we did. ;)

I get 10k faction credits per day this way. That is 10 Epic G5 BP per 3 days. Unimaginable a couple of years ago....

A basically 800m lvl 63. You most be missing a lot of research or just doing minimal ships

All you need is 3 to 4 silks. 😅
I started with 3 selkies, and then expanded to 5. I had tons of faction credits so I figured...why not?
