The moment I put this gun in my hand at the gun store. I unholstered my glock 19, dropped the magazine, cleared the chamber, emptied the full magazine, started the sell paperwork, and purchased this phenomenal firearm after I shot 50 target rounds and 30 self defense rounds with 3 inch groupings with ease. Walter, I salute 🫡 you. You Guys have earned my business.
Agree 100% . One of the most accurate guns I own, might be "snappy" but returns so fast back to original position, it's incredible. I can actually shoot it faster than most of my guns.
Actually, the pdp is a little too fat for ccw if you think the sig p229 or glock 26 is a fat gun well this gun is even fatter and I haven't even mention the holster, however, it will make a good range gun and it feel good in the hand even the regular pdp feels good.
I bought one of those custom Cerakote from Omaha Outdoors. put Lock Grips all brass Backstrap , Magwell & base plates. Also put a dpm guide rod and a 3.8 custom Jarvis barrel. About $2,000 all in. One of the best looking and best shooting carry guns ever !
If anyone is looking to purchase the PDP F series I highly recommend going to a range that has one for rent and shoot it. I bought mine in March and sold it a month later, nothing was wrong with it mechanically and I loved how it felt in my hands but from concealment with sub second draws I was constantly shooting left. Since the trigger is closer to the grip, I had to change how I held the gun and how much finger I was using in the trigger even with the provided bigger backstrap. I was not comfortable carrying it knowing those few seconds it would take me to adjust how I held the gun could affect if I lived or died
I saw a video which made a pretty persuasive argument that tritium sights are just marketing hype. The light conditions in which you could use them aren't conducive for actually identifying an assailant, or becoming a victim for that matter. They argued that the only benefit for night sights is finding your gun on the night stand in a dark room.
PDP-F 3.6 is one of my all time fav's... Walther continues to make great tools... their marketing still needs elevating imo, but the craftsmanship is top notch. Very few guns come directly from the manufacture with this state of readiness... Trigger, plate ready, grip texture, capacity, are amazing. Mine came with a red dot at no cost. Only wish would be for tritium night sights, at least the front...just because.
Walther: HK quality at Glock prices (or lower) I've had my PPS M2 for over 8 years now and picked it up for under $325 new. It's run like a champ, gobbling up 2000+ rounds over the years.
I have this in 4 inch with Holosun and rail light for home defense. I want this for carry so my platforms/training matches. My favorite pistol over my 19, my Rami, and my shield although they are all nice…. It wows me to look at and shoot…. And did I say how wonderful the trigger is ❤️
Some people complain that it feels a little more snappy than say a g19, but that’s because it has an enhanced chamber that improves velocity. One of the best 9mm on the market
It is true, but the extra velocity is only like 25 fps or something like that if I recall correctly. It is a little snappier than some but nothing like my hellcat osp, that little guy hurts my hand after like 30 rounds
@@protectiverailroaddad7541 I wouldnt say a little snappier im sure the hellcat is worse but thats a small gun its to be expected even if it is worse than most in its class a full size 4 inch shouldnt be snappier than a 43x. Its not like if you really concentrate you can notice its a little snappier than the much smaller 3.5 glock its more like even if you dont try to concentrate on the recoil you think how is this snappier than a 43x I really wouldn’t say a little snappier is accurate.
Strongly considered this at one point but it's so dang tall. Prints on me like a mf (I'm small framed and slender), especially in warm weather wear. If they took about a half inch off the grip and a quarter inch of thickness off the slide I'd be all in.
I like this gun but the slide is too fat. If they really want to attract female shooters, they need to upgrade the PPS and get the same capacity as the P365.
I just found out that the Walther “F” series was designed for women. Due to there smaller hands and the easier slide release is patent by Walther for the female customer 👍 It’s a pistol 🔫 and it doesn’t matter what’s between your legs !!
Glock is literally the ugliest handgun brand to exist. It is a Lego block in your hands. However, it is a Lego block that always goes bang, hence why they are so popular. Function over form.
I would not carry the Walther PDP-F as Walther's marketing team has informed me that it is engineered SPECIFICALLY for the bone structure of WOMEN which is why it is called the PDP-F, for FEMALE. Therefore, it is unusable by men. For those who may make the mistake of buying the PDP-F despite being MEN, I suggest watching Walther's high quality commercial for the PDP-F.
@@SliderFury1 No, it's a joke. I just want people to watch Walther's PDP-F commercial because it's one of the funniest gun-related marketing blunders ever.
Thanks for the review. When the need came to drop the mag and clear the pistol, did the unfired round eject? Mine either fall out thru the mag well or just sit in the chamber until I turn the pistil on its side and shake the round out. When firing they eject fine. I have never had this issue with my G19 gen 4 or other striker fired pistols. Thanks.

would love an aluminum frame version
I’ve ran 500 rounds through mine. Zero issues. The grip fit my hands like a glove, and I have relatively large hands. Don’t let the “f” fool you.
Both the f and regular felt good in my hands, the only thing I didn't like was that the slide was so darn fat but everything else was good.
@@kawikadee9670 Yah, it’s got a fat slide for sure.m. It would have dominated the market if they went with a slimmer slide.

What kind of holster are you using?
I’ve never owned a Walther, but that pistol looks amazing!
👍🏻🔥💯
Perfect size carry gun in my opinion
I’d love to see a comparison between this Walther and the new S&W Concealed Carry Comp
Walther= W
Love the content brother! I have learned of so many firearms I don’t even know existed!
If you like this PDP check out the Walther PPQ .45/PPQ steel frame 9MM/ P99 Final Edition (OD green frame)
Was waiting for this

Love my PDP-F 3.5”!!! Between my X macro and the PDP-F I have been very happy.
Which one do you prefer?
@@THORR-mh9px I really like them both, but if I had to choose one I’d go with the Macro because it’s much slimmer and has very low bore axis

The texturing looks so good on the Walthers.

walther makes quality stuff
Would like to see a Walther PDP-F SC with a 2 finger grip so it's more concealable
Nice. Looks like one of the better offerings on the market for sure. Too bad local range doesn't have the F series, big fan of the PDPs though.
Love this gun. The large backstrap and holosun scs it’s a wrap.
Thank You- fantastic perspective, you have the heart of a teacher and it’s greatly appreciated- MOAR 👏
If they made that gun a quarter of an inch thinner it would be the ultimate micro 9mm. Feels great but it’s a tad wide for me
Yes, it's a little chunky. Shoots great though.
100% and they would really upset the carry market
Make it about the same size as the hellcat or the new bodyguard 2.0 and that would be the ultimate for us small handed people!!
