  • It's time to do a seasonal wardrobe switch! I need to put away all of our summer clothes and get out our winter clothes, so it's the perfect opportunity to declutter and organise my wardrobe. But before I can do that, I need to tackle a mess that I have been procrastinating - the clutter under my ottoman bed. So now it's time to sort, clean, declutter and organise with me!

I too, often regret all my life choices that led me up to the messy conclusion on my floor when I am cleaning and sorting.😅 I have loads of things I keep saying I am going to declutter and organise, but the sheer amount of stuff is overwhelming. I know when I do sort and clean those areas, myself, and the house, should feel a whole lot better.
I love storage cubes! I love the cube-ception going on! Cubes within cubes!

I need to organise my whole house but I'm hardly ever home! Its actually making me miserable. I have a to do list app and the list keeps getting longer 😢 I honestly feel like burning down my house and starting again from scratch 😂😂

I follow dana from a slob comes cleans moto for decluttering, it's the opposite of taking it all out. It's called decluttering without making a mess.
Also drills aren't scary, lots of videos on RUclips to help 💪

If that works for you, fab! I just know that if I don’t make a mess I talk myself out of doing it 😂

I've been wanting to see something like this since I subscribed and realised you'd an ottoman bed. My (single) bed is a wooden bedframe and I do have it pretty organised with one plastic under bed box containing any bulk stationary I use (I prefer use only one colour of highlighter, coloured pens etc so I bought single colour boxes, I also have my colour coding system for organsing my book collection by genre, proof copy, signed copies, books that were gifts etc in that box (I have 4 billy bookcases at capacity in my room so I prefer to catalogue them to avoid the 'do I have that?' issues when buying books.) and another box contains all my travel bits for if we go on holiday. It works well enough but I've my eye on some under bed drawers in ikea that will fit my bed (its not an ikea bed but the measurements work) to give me an extra drawer since I only have 2 drawers at present and the ones I've my eye on are a set of 3. Then maybe I can get my non seasonal duvets out of the box room wardrobe and under my bed or I can keep extra blankets in there for the winter. I can go from freezing to boiling in 2 seconds so I prefer to use a blanket on top of the sheet and either side of the duvet so I can add and get rid of them as needed. I remember you were unsure about whether you or Daddy of Four would overheat with a fleece duvet set so it may be a good way to test that if you're thinking about getting one, and if it turns out one of you overheats whilst the other does not it may be a way to compromise on that.

My house is decluttered as it’s all in storage lol
I’m a single mum to 3 and my landlord is selling so we need to be out Friday. Think we are going to a B and B for about 6 ish weeks. This is definitely the most minimalist house I’ve lived in lol . When we finally get a house to live in permanently which could take a year I want to make it nice and simple and minimalist so I can enjoy the house/ kids more xx

Hi Rhi. Great video. Well done, it is a big job! I still have mine to do, but this has motivated me. I was thinking of you yesterday when l was in Home Bargains. They do a Skinny (as in Skinny Whip)advent calendar! :) I was like l have got to tell Rhi - so hopefully you will see this comment. Xx

Love this! Great to see the progress. I have questions about the crease remover though! Is this a special programme on your dryer? And can you use it for anything? I wouldn't normally put t-shirts (and similar materials) in the dryer as I'd be worried about them shrinking or going out of shape!

Yes, I use a cycle that's called something like "refresh" which is very cool and only 10 mins or so. I agree, I don't normally tumble dry tops etc to actually dry them x

@@MummyofFourUK Oh, I'll have to look into that. it would be a game changer if my dryer had that option! Currently trying to reduce my ironing time!

I love how they call it "crease releaser" in the UK. It's called "wrinkle remover" under it's US brand name.
