Low key really enjoyed toons designs growing up and now seeing more cards come out makes me wanna build a deck with them. With little protection I hate to go the route of flood gates
I built one even if it cost me quite some bucks, but believe me: It’s worth it. Triple copies of Toon ToC, Toon Bookmark and Toon Page Flip are absolute winners.
Now if only we could get some "Toon" fusion monsters. Like Toon Dark Paladin and Toon Black Skull Dragon. As well as some more level 4 and lower toons that help with consistency of the deck and a new continuous spell/trap card that counts as Toon World but has a useful effect.
I love Toons so much Another content creator I watch made his Master Duel debut running them, and it got me back into loving YuGiOh again Though in all honesty, due to just how many monsters/cards YuGiOh has made, it’s objectively one of the most neglected/underutilized archetypes of all time Konami could do so much more with it, and I wish they would
I feel like the Toon Archetype needs a definitive boss monster, we have 4 or 5 good choices already with BLS ofc, but I would love to see a toon extra deck monster, like a Toon Number 39: Utopia would be awesome
I love the Toon deck and I always wanted to build a Toon deck of my own complete with extra cards that help assure myself that I can use them to full effect.
Kinda wish we got Toons for other protagonist ace monsters Toon Stardust Dragon would have the same tributing cost as BLS, though the deck already has so much destruction protection, not sure that's needed too much. Toon Utopia's summoning condition would require having 2 Toon monsters on the field to represent Xyz Summoning (maybe 2 level 4s), and let you negate attacks (maybe with a Double-or-nothing style effect to double the attack of a Toon, but only if you negated it's atk, which can still get nasty with the double-attack spell) Toon Pendulum Dragon doubles its direct attack damage if the opponent controls a level 5 or higher monster and has it's pendulum effect (maybe with a scale of 3 maybe instead of 4) Toon Firewall Dragon lets you return monsters on the field and/or "Toon" cards in your GY to the hand, up to the number of "Toon" cards you control (only if you have Toon World ofc) and if a monster you control is sent to the GY, you can Special Summon a Toon monster from your hand, ignoring its summoning condition. (which gives you a reason to run Toon Cannon Soldier now xD) Realizing that Utopia and Pendulum would explode the archetype's direct attacking potential and maybe make them way too strong.
The problem with toons is that they are either going to be fun but bad, or decent but annoying. I still want them to be at least rouge. Love this series by the way!
I use them in duel links with the toonvitation skill that lets you summon them with no tribute needed and let's you replace any card in hand for toon world from outside your deck and I just love them they need extra deck cards
Toons are an interesting gimmick archetype, but wow I’m definitely in nostalgia fatigue thanks to dragoon, the general flop of the mega tins with forced DM/BEWD support, GAIA getting a near-full theme deck, and now more Toons. I grew up on 5DS and Zexal, so I guess I’m just not as attached to these cards as others. Still cool to see them, but if we could take a year off from more Duel Monsters retrains I’d really appreciate it.
Some ideal Toon monsters: Elemental Toon Hero Neos Toon Stardust Dragon Toon Utopia Odd-Eyes Toon Dragon Slifer The Toon Dragon Obelisk The Toonmentor The Toon Dragon of Ra Exodia The Forbidden Toon Toon Frightfur Chimera Dark Rebellion Toon Dragon Clear Wing Toon Dragon Starving Venom Toon Dragon Toon Dragon Archfiend Toon Jinzo (I know I can go on forever with this list)
I think the deck thinning power of table and bookmark makes a easy 5 card solt in most decks. Because its like upstart goblin. I say 5 to include a toon world. I use it in my skystrikers and it fills grave and deck thins really well plus if i dead draw parts i can use em for mulitrole or area zero.
While like the new toon support there is still a little more to make the cards even better... Like make book mark grave effect a little better in protection...
Pain, we call them pain sets Archetypes and legacy support that get super hyped up and then flop and reprints that are shorter than I am But yes thanks for the food, much better than the actual Toon Chaos set itself
Yeah, no problem. I was gonna offer you some salt to go with it, but A) You seem to have plenty already, and B) Who has salt with cereal? No one, that's who. This seasoning is totally inappropriate, and has only been included to prove that I know #gamerlingo, and to strain an already incredibly tortured joke. Oh god, it IS a pain set.
I think they are wanna be Dragons of Legend also I thought fist of gadgets was a deck builder but yeah I guess it wasn't since it didn't origin in the ocg. It seems like they are going to be the only set that will be doing the TCG Exclusive archetypes or support since they cut that from the main sets.
Hmm...I worry that might be a bit too TCG centric. Like, technically EVERY set has World Premier cards, unless it's made up entirely of reprints. But I think you're on to something, it does feel like a Premier of some sort.
Honestly, I love using Toons. They're simple and surprisingly efficient so long as you don't get a bad hand. my friend says they suck completely but I managed to pull the rug under decks he claims will automatically win like Blue Eyes, or Galaxy Eyes. I only play in Master Duel nowadays and they can get me pretty far in the ranks. Typically be stealing the opponents best cards and using them against them. oh you spent 2 minutes on a wombo combo to summon a fancy 4500 attack dragon like the big man you are? Well that's too damn bad cause I got Comic Hand and Toon Rollback! and you already blew your Ash Blossum on my Pot of Extravagance like I suspected you would have! So far the only deck I cannot beat is the Dark Magician deck as they can spam banish any spells/traps I have. My friend claims I only win because people don't know what Toon cards are but that can't be true as it's a popular bit in Yugioh.
Cool acronym. Next time you should figure out something to say with some actual bite to it instead of copying your insult comic routine from The Quartering.
@@GoldenNovaYugioh you literally advocated that people donate to a terrorist organization that's entire MO is the destruction of western society though violence, rioting, and murder, and then this supposed "charity" proceeded to keep the vast majority of the money for itself. That doesn't bother you? Have you no conscience?
I can see your (most likely auto deleted) comment. 1. The charities gave away over $30m, so the claim they kept it all is blatantly false. Plus you aren't even talking about a specific charity, nor a majority of charities. 2. Why is it even important for CHARITIES to GIVE AWAY donated money? If the people donating that money wanted it to go elsewhere, they woudl've donated elsewhere - the money is where the people donated it want it to be. The charities can spend it how they want to. Imagine if people donated to an orphanage and you got mad because they spent 1/3rd of it on the orphans and then said "we're going to keep the remaining pool for them (STILL INSIDE THE CHARITY, NOT GIVING TO THEMSELVES) instead of just spending every last cent immediately and going broke".
Correction: Toon Dark Magician Girl can attack the turn it’s Summoned - so TBLS isn’t the first. :P
Huh, I'll be. Gonna have to keep that in mind for the Field Test. Didn't think she was gonna have that kind of utility. Thanks for the catch!
Yep other than that small thing, the video is Fire🔥💯
