I really like how with your older archetype reviews you go pack by pack instead of just grouping cards by type. Really gives a feel of the deck's history in the game and how the strategies build on one another.
I agree, it has a bit more of a narrative to it. I've got the feeling I slipped into doing it by type to be...economical? That might not be the right word for it, but I appreciate the feedback! I'll try to keep that in mind for later videos where applicable. Thank you!
As someone who started playing due to Madolche cards being cute I loved seeing the evolution of the deck to what we currently play today. Hard to believe this deck could be playable without Salon, Teacher or even Peting summoning Pudding... Thank you.
As someone who started playing due to Master Duel's release the moment I saw these cards I wanted to build a deck around them and your video was of great help in making me understand the playstyle of these cards
I imagine a YuGiOh anime where there are two rich sisters and one is an optimistic, outgoing girl that likes to make baked sweets and is a pro duel monsters player that uses a Madolche deck, and the other sister is a shy goth girl that likes the write horror/romance stories and uses a ghostrick deck.
In my head, I've always imagined that the Madolches and the Ghostricks would be best friends. I'd pay just to watch an anime of them goofing around with each other.
And they work Together in Double battles , Her Goth sister defending their board during their opponents' turns and the Upbeat baker turns on the offense and sends their opponents cards back into the deck when their turn comes around.
Maybe They also have a calm older brother that mains the Quantal archetype. Much Like his archetype's Main Boss, He himself is Unaffected by his Younger sisters' Scary pranks or Cake Bribes.
One of my favorite combos that I use in Madolche is an OTK and isn't one that people will expect because it requires a non searchable card and your opponent to have a monster with at least 2300 ATK (which can be accomplished via Kaiju). All you need is any combination of Madolche Chouxvalier/Messengelato (one on field and one in hand) and Madolche Chateau, Madolche Waltz, and Desperate Tag face up on your field. It's gimmicky but unexpected. I call it Madolche Burn.
I remember just recently I wont against an eldritch deck using my madolche deck relying on luck and will as I was having a loosing battle. And just fortune favored me and gave me the 3 cards I needed. The guy with eldritch tech got too over confident and I lured him in appearing defendless until he or she took the bait and fell for my trap... literally; and I won that duel.
is no one going to address the relationship between Puddingcess and Chouxvalier? I'd imagine that'd be quite scandalous. Although i guess the princess and the knight is nothing new.
The Madolche Monarchy can't have word of such a salacious salsa getting out to the public, it would cause quite the ruckus. Queen Tiaramisu put the gag order out themselves.

lol as a madolche player now the old madolche strategy back then was pray you get to an xyz or sit on semi thick cards (pudding). The trap and new spells make them so dang good and jelly and hoot were super good support back then
I remember opening a few packs from my parents some time ago. I got 2 copies of Butlerusque and Baaple, alongside a single chateau. I didn’t have the cards to build cohesive decks back then, but I absolutely LOVED getting both Madolche on the field with the Chateau. The artworks were great to look at! I never got a physical deck built for madolche, but still piece it together in dueling sims now and again.
I build a madoche deck using my own plans, my own tactics and trial an error... but it still cannot compete with many people using BS cards that you cannot do anything about. And I speak about Master Duel, where everyone uses cheap tactics to win and everyone uses the same deck over and over just to win and one cards can win the game with nothing else. It saddens me as nobody now days is trully playing Yugioh, nobody plans or make tactics or build a deck according to those tactics. They just go and imitate a pre-make cheap winning deck and uses someone else's routine for an easy win. What has become of Yugioh...
man i'll never forget the time when i got punched in the face for playing queen tiaramisu. friend wanted to playtest his 4 decks to prepare for a small local tournament. didn't matter, he couldn't play anything. whatever he played, i just send it right back to his hand lmao Back then, I had the most fun when i get to play rage inducing decks. maybe it's time to do that again.

I got 1st place at the Seattle regional with Madolche's, pre abyss rising. Then I got 1st at 2 more regionals post Tachyon Galaxy and topped nationals with them. I love this deck so much
Great vid, wanted to get back into the deck! One interaction I've been trying out online, inspired by using the continuous spells after there usefulness is gone for the turn from his True Draco idea, is using Magicians' Souls, Exodius for cost. I've been working with the synergy: I put an I:P in the deck so i can make a unicorn or link 4 on my opponents turn, for which the Souls provides the extra mats for, and he extra draws off of the card help a bit. Exodius isn't the best card to have in the starting hand, but it does help extend, both shuffling all monsters in graveyard, Madolche or not, and banishing itself instead of going to grave: both of these effects clearing the way for Petingcessoeur. Not the most meta choice, but it's definitely one of the most fun for me.
Petingcesseour Is legitimately a One card full combo, beign able to build 2 up to the link and both xyz madolche Monster Is Amazing. Also a big mention Is the non-once per turn of messangelato, which Is busted considering through a full combo It could bring out up to 4 spell/trap from the archetype including the omni negate promenade.
I wish Crystal Beast would get support as good as Maldoche. There are a few similarities between both archetypes. Magileine is basically Pegasus and the monsters dont have to be in the GY
Yeah, these Legendary Duelist cards have been nice, but the theme needs an overhaul, big time. And while we're at it, errata Diamond Dire Wolf into the archetype, Konami! It's got all the same aesthetics!

I’ve been using this deck on the new master duel game with the divine arsenal AA set up & so far I’ve one 11 games in a row & all have been by surrender
madolche lesson isn't that bad. it is a way to have a life nights and i did try it out and it did work in modern yugioh but playing 20 hand traps/board breaker is just better. also puddingcess's destruction effect did safe me a few time getting rid of some random jank. i even normal summoned her attack pop something she dies triggers ticket and i can combo off and i am talking about 2020 yugioh where i normal summoned a 1000 atk beatstick. ps.: ALL HAIL THE PUDDING
I remember a Madolche OTK. You need Chateau, 2 messengelatos (one on the field and one in your hand), Desperate Tag and Waltz plus your opponent has to have a monster with more than 2100 atk.
If you link summon Madolche Fresh Sistart while you have Madolche Teacher Glassouffle on the field you can activate Glassouffle’s 2nd effect off the link summon.
Another tech choice for medolche is guardian eatos a level 8 fairy that special summons itself when you have no monsters in your GY and D.D crow times 3 with no once per turn clause on it so you can use the bamboo sword engine and might be able to make a rank 8 or go into black luster soldier- soldier of chaos or go into celestial knightlord parshath. I forgot to mention that eatos can have a huge attack value especially with celestial sword's effect (which is a noble arms card for some reason?)
Imo the absolute funniest field spell to grab is the numeron one. If you can bait a boardwipe from your opponent on your turn, you can just go into that and otk them anyway.
I've been playing Madolche since they first came out. I stopped playing the game after Links became a thing, but that didn't stop me from purchasing the new cards whenever they came out. I will always love this archetype. I hope we get a rank 3 Madolche soon. Hoping Chouxvalier's horse might come back as Madolche Neighapolitan (bad joke but it sounds great right???) Great video. I'm playing it in master duel for the xyz event, nd I've really been missing a good rank 3. I'm sometimes just left with the level 3s and nothing to do with them. If I take it out and get the link I guess it'll be something, but its still kinda annoying.
Pot of Prosperity is my preferred "draw" card, since it gives me a higher chance of grabbing Anjelly/Petingcessoeur/Magileine, and I can choose which card to banish.
Madolche can combined with some nice cards. Galaxy Queen's Light and Mythic Water Dragon. You can special summon mythic water dragon if you control Earth Monsters. Using Galaxy Queens Light to make all Monsters Level 8 and go for Rank 8 XYZ Monsters. Or Emergency Teleport for some Tuner Monsters and Synchro Summons like Naturia Beast oder Trishula 😂
A thing I see with a lot of these is the lack of for a better term “cheap” player stuff. Like yeah Waltz and such are pretty lame but when you got physical cards and thus had luck of the draw or buying super expensive cards as a kid with no money, using something like waltz helps a bit, especially if you somehow get 3 on the field so that’s 3600 damage just to deal with say the cat and sheep on the field in a single turn
All it would really need to do is just 1 useful thing early in the combo to increase consistency. It could even just detach its material to do whatever it does, and then you could overlay and shuffle the detatched material to turn on your cont. spells.
All it would need to do is be an in theme version of Leviair the Sea Dragon and/or M-X-Saber Invoker that restricks you to only summon Madolche monsters.
I Dont get the Part with the queen tiaramisu: the card says "shuffle those cards into the deck" why does he say "the card doesnt specify, that the targeted cards have to return into the deck" (Yes i understand that this goes along with the chateau effect)
What he means is that, even if the Madolche cards you return fail to return to the deck (because of chateau) you can still return your opponents cards to their deck
Madolche Pavlovers Appearance: Two dessert-themed ballroom dancers, similar to what you would find in a music box. Name origin: "Pavlova" (a type of Australian meringue) and "lovers". Fairy / Pendulum / Effect Level 2 Light ATK 700 / DEF 900 Pendulum scale: 1 (Effect in both boxes) When this card is destoyed by your opponent's card, shuffle it back into the deck. Spell effect: If you control a "Madolche Pavlovers" in your other pendulum zone, you can change this card's pendulum scale to 6. Hard once per turn: You can shuffle 2 "Madolche" cards from your GY back into your deck to add 1 "Madolche" card from your deck to your hand. Monster effect: If this card is attacked, if you control another "Madolche Pavlovers", either in your monster card zone or a pendulum zone, you can negate the attack and end the battle phase, then activate this card in one of your pendulum zones. I think this card idea fits the cutesy theme that there going for with this archetype. The lovers belong together, one in each of your zones, performing their pendulum summoning dance.

Probably not. Knights are usually rich ppl in the kingdom the king needs to stay in powe.
Eldlich actually leaves the GY in most combos or disruptions, so ironically Eldlich and Madolche can be used to cover each other's weaknesses

All it would really need to do is just 1 useful thing early in the combo to increase consistency. It could even just detach its material to do whatever it does, and then you could overlay and shuffle the detatched material to turn on your cont. spells.
All it would need to do is be an in theme version of Leviair the Sea Dragon and/or M-X-Saber Invoker that restricks you to only summon Madolche monsters.

I Dont get the Part with the queen tiaramisu: the card says "shuffle those cards into the deck" why does he say "the card doesnt specify, that the targeted cards have to return into the deck"
(Yes i understand that this goes along with the chateau effect)
What he means is that, even if the Madolche cards you return fail to return to the deck (because of chateau) you can still return your opponents cards to their deck

Name origin: "Pavlova" (a type of Australian meringue) and "lovers".

I think this card idea fits the cutesy theme that there going for with this archetype. The lovers belong together, one in each of your zones, performing their pendulum summoning dance.
