I feel like they showed up at a very specific time in punk and hardcore that made them as well known as they were. Probably the only thing close enough as like youth crew punk as it'll get.
The 2000s, specificly after 911, was pretty much the perfect grounds for melodic, anarchist, angry, borderline emotional music like that. I love them but I can't say that this sort of music aged well. Doesn't mean I don't want to see more from them, though. I say bands like Sick of it And even Pennywise (sort of) held better through years.

I saw strike anywhere maybe 2000 or 2001 and had no idea who they were. They fucking rocked out so hard I was an instant fan. The lead singer came out into the crowd and we chatted about 10 minutes after the show. Incredible experience and band.
Dude I'm 36 n I use to go to see these back in high school and this singer does not age still looks the same damn right dude music still Roxx always be a fan at this golden age sk8 punk 🤘🖕🖕👊👊✊✊
Tomas is a great guy! Met him at one of their first tours with AS FRIENDS RUST. Seen them many, many times over the years. And even though we are at polar opposites on the political spectrum (Conservative Punks unite!) I have mad respect for him and this band!
You are aware that strike anywhere is a band made up of anti-fascists/ supporters of community based organizing such as the anarchist black cross and Antifa, no?
SA unfortunately just isn't particularly popular with the current kids in the scene, the hardcore scenes around the world are bigger than they've ever been but only the guys who were around when SA came up seem to know them

Still relevant
Anti Flag too!
Miss these guys so much. I'm glad they're back.
I wish there were more bands like this around today.
Kody Coats yeah man they're so original, hard to find similar sound like Strike Anywhere.

Great band, still get chills when they play 46:02
Best song of them!
Infrared is one of the most beautiful and melodic songs ever!
I started listening to this band 20 years ago, and the songs, as the years go on, stay so relevant.

Loco Lobo I’m pretty sure they aren’t
Nah man its nature
Yeah because "straight- edge bands" always play breweries, everyone at this brewery is sober.
