Jer T no freakish = no best setlist ever lol
Ryan M bro, this is HARDCORE, not Emo
THANK YOU FOR THE SETLIST!
I love how saves the day still has cred in the hardcore scene, easily the best pop punk band of all time.
UsefulCrackhead all tough guys back in 99 masturbated to through being cool
hardcore is about appreciating diversity and authenticity....saves the day -)
"Through being cool" changed my life
Is that worse or better than using the "E" word?
I feel like this is a fairly recent development....
Music theory wise, Saves the Day has some of the most amazing guitar riffs I’ve ever heard. More soul than most bands
Especially once he found out about jazz chords. Some of the voicings he uses are insane.
When i was in my 20’s I loved this band.
Now i’m in the 40’s and I still love this band!
Tommy Pijkeren dude right there w you.
Summer of 2000, got my first car CD player. Through Being Cool first CD I popped in.
Same, never got to see them play any of these songs the couple of times I fought them.
First time I ever heard them wad art class high-school freshman year 2001. Stay what you are album. Something clicked.
@@mattleahy1596 that is truly cool
The best part about this set is that the band is clearly having such a good time playing. It means a lot.
Saves the Day from Stay What You Are and earlier were and still are my favorite band since I was a boy, by a huge margin. This might be the most amazing video I’ve ever seen. The bassist killing Eben’s parts is just amazing. I just love this. I dunno how the hell I haven’t seen it before now.
I had seen another Hate Six show of theirs and they played a few feom Can't Slow Down which I was happy to see but this one knocks it out of the park. I'm a Can't Slow Down / Through Being Cool Era guy
This whole set warms my heart. The crowd singing on “Always Ten Feet Tall” gave me goosebumps. This makes me feel 20 years younger.
I lost count how many times I got chills watching this. Such great energy🙌🏼
I love how nonchalant the singer is with the crazy fans....such a humble great band!
No smartphones… only stage diving.. reminds me the 90’s and 2000’s… great Gig.. epic
50:17 Sell My Old Clothes is such an underrated song. StD has many great songs, but this one is hands down the best one!
agreed, it goes so hard and it barely gets love
My favorite saves the day song
Chris Conley still sounds great. Such a great band.
How can he sing so well while moving around, and all that other stuff going on!? Awesome!
Ralph Caffery he is only been doing this since he was 16 LOL
Yep and alot richer now too. Can't believe he's got 14 million dollars now :)
@@marcoskolioulis3522 ok what
@@HxC88NY but he wasn't doing it to hardcore pits like this back then hahaha they are fish out of water here and I'm living for it.
This is the strangest but coolest show. Saves The Day pop ballads and the crowd going nuts like Hellfest, pretty cool
early saves the day audience was essentially roots east coast hXc
It's because almost all early Saves The Day is essentially hardcore songs subbing the screaming vocals with singing.
In CT all the hardcore, punk, post hardcore, pop punk bands played together and were all connected in the HC scene. Im assuming NJ isnt much different
wow I feel like I'm 19 again...I could watch this over and over....couldn't deny...this band still the best...if could turn back the clock, we wish we could have the wonderful late 90's era days...really missed these days...Drag D in D flat and jodie songs were exceptional!
my GOD what a setlist. This band has come so far and Chris has been killer all the way through. So awesome to see him back to his roots.
This is amazing; it's so nostalgia-inducing--just like for everyone else. 2000-2004 marked my high school years wearing 3/4th-length baseball tees, everyone sporting 3/4 (isometric) MySpace photos, sneaking out of houses, the start of vegan journeys, SxE everything, hair dye, just living to live and be alive. What a great band and community. Love you all even though we might never meet. Peace, love, positivity.
Favorite band playing songs from the 2 best pop punk records of all time. Epic.
Scott Vogel would be proud of all those stage dives
Best Saves the Day show ever seen on RUclips. Best crowd even
Man.... these song got me through the worst heart break I have ever experienced and ever will! This girl... my first love 10th 11th and 12th grade and two years after graduation and i walk in to her on bed with my best friend for years at the time...i was so broken.. I'm 37 now and it still effects me... I'm still not fully over it deep down... it plunged me deep into a dark place and addiction... these song were always me life preservers literally. Ahhh thanks for letting me vent friends. Saves the day definitely saved many days for me! Love you guys and thank you for all the amazing music!!!
The drummer's setup is so simple and clean. No frills drumming.
His set is identical to mine. Don't need some crazy fuckin set to sound good
Pop Punk at it's fineness
Dennis is an awesome drummer. He's an awesome guy too.
Dennis is great! Nailed all these songs! Def deserves props. He let me play his drums when I jammed with Saves The Day at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville NJ 9/28/13. One of the best days of my life (obviously). Here's the video ruclips.net/video/D3LoQ_E0Obw/видео.html
en lo sencillo esta la verdadera belleza, o como un buen refran diria, "el que mucho abarca poco aprieta". or something like that
watching this live video with goosebumps and tears , what a beautiful nostalgic moods
"...Forever Young..." To define this great band... remind me lot of memories, skateboard session with my bestfriend's by night in summer ❤
Thank you for taking me back to 2001
This was the most fun I've ever had
Everyone there knows every word to every song. All ages going off! What a show! Thank You for this.
So thankful I got to be a part of this amazing set !
I’ll follow this band till the end. Grateful they’re still around playing shows.
👍
I somehow enjoy this but get depressed at the same time. I can't believe I was young once all of a sudden
Yeah man
Headwalks and spin kicks from the first note. Amazing
I remember driving to pick up my homie at his suburb home and he introduced me to SAVES THE DAY ...good memories with the all CD's cases in the dashboard driving from one friend's house to another
SO much respect for Chris C holding on to that mic and not just diving around, even if he did; probably still in his hand singing away like an absolute boss!
Saves the Day. What a band!
dude they sounds so damn good. I got goosebumps when I heard how loud the crowd was
I done been waiting for this one!
Me and you both
Seeing them tonight in Seattle for the 5th time, this is the perfect way to warm up for the gig.
I WISH I WAS THERE!! I rocked out for this entire video, thank you!! 😀
The guy at 1:09 is just in awe that this is happening. So Fucking rad!
Thats me lol
Now THATS front man. Almost pitch perfect even in the middle of a TIHC pit.
Love that hxc kids all listened to bands like STD, TBS, old FOB, brand new on top of loving straight up hardcore, punk, metal, all the cores…
Insane crowd. Insane set. So many moments in this.
This is like the hardest Saves The Day set ever lol
little kid
Set list??
This was a great set but it was an amazing time in the late 90s early 2000
I wish I was there
Lol
I like how Saves the Day has such cred in the hardcore community still.
That’s what’s so cool about the hxc scene - bands like Brand new, STD, TBS, old FOB, Glassjaw - have such love in the scene.

これは聞いてる人もやってる人も楽しいわ。日本じゃありえないね。日本もこのぐらいできたら楽しいのにね。
ってか、やっぱりこのバンド最高!
Shoulder to the wheel still hits just like the first time I heard it.
These couple concerts with that crowd are just purely awesome. 3 years separated. Bad ass.
Damn, my college years were fueled by these guys. so happy to see the 40 somethings in the crowd. Love this.
Wow. I absolutely love the positive vibes from both Chris and the crowd having a blast. Takes me back to a simpler time before dumb internet memes and identity politics, just awesome bands and great shows!
Seriously! I remember when I first heard Saves The Day, we had just finished band practice and we were in our singer /guitarist room because we used to practice at his house and he was like "hey check this out, i just got it". From the intro we were hooked and immediately thought "whoa this sounds like lifetime 😀", when we saw they were just kid's we called them "baby lifetime" 😂😂. I was probably 21 when it came out and I'm 47, I still listen to them and I've been trying to figure out which drum cover to do of their.
Holy shit. I didn't know shows like this still happened. People into it, no phones, stage diving. Where is this time warp, so I can visit?
Best comment, I was thinking the same thing.
ok bOOMER
Im with you this seems hype AF
Warp tour was still a thing then
Im pretty sure at This is hardcore in Philadelphia
The soundtrack for learning how to skateboard and get rejected by girls...thank you for making my teenage years worth while!!
Im 31, still skateboarding and getting rejected by girls.
@@the_dilemma9000 same!!
Love that Saves the Day is on this channel, lol
This might be the best set list they’ve ever played
43:47 - 'why don't you step on it?'. Someone in the audience: ROGER THAT.
HAHA just saw that. incredible.
Regret skipping this.
dude this set list is UNREAL!!!
I remember walking out of a show in 98 or 99 thinking these guys blew H20 off the stage. More energy & melodic. Felt I just saw Lifetime on steroids. Rest was history, well until 2002.
42:43
HEART IS ON THE FLOOOOORRRRR
Wild set definitely one of the best shows ive ever been too
Pinebox Doggo I wish someone yelled “what are thoooooooooose?” at those sneakers tho
Why don't you step on it!
@@heavy0000 damn didn't know hardcore fest were all about fashion.
MoshedxPotatoes you must be new
@@heavy0000 nah I'm not but memes dead bro No one says that anymore
Damn, they even played "A Drag In D Flat". Amazing set
Wow Tyler Breeze sings so freaking good!!
Happy to see all these hardcore kids into Saves The Day. Holly Hox got a big pop from the crowd, as well it should.
FORGET HER NOTS
this set whips ass, they still sound so great
Definitely one of the best sets ever at this is hardcore. Glad I was there for it.
i mean this is hands down an amazing live performance....
Yo even Saves the Day is like “oh my god”. Never has so much love and soul been on display for this band, so amazing to see.
37:27 GOOSEBUMPS, DAMM WHAT A COOL CROWD
You see me quite a bit, what a nice thing to say. Most of us were in our 30’s and early 40’s, waiting all day for this. I had never been so tired in my life, but I’ll always remember this night
I love the fact that you didnt record that incident, im guessing someone passed out? You are awesome
some guy got knocked out by a stagediver who kicked/kneed him
Damn. This really made me feel so much. So much nostalgia wrapped up in those early STD albums for me
Just found this gem. Love these boys. ❤️🙌
Dude... THIS SET LIST!!!!!
The energy of this crowd!
The poor drummer basically playing all of Can’t Slow Down. He was hurtin’ 😂
said the same shit haha he put it down though 👊
He's mic'd up
47:04 did Chris just point to his mom?
I saw these guys live in Detroit with my oldest sister before my mom passed. Never caught that line in the last 10 years. I told my mom how much fun it was seeing std with me sister. Cry everyday because of these guys.
16:18 guy needs an Olympic medal for that dive.
sick sick sick [x666]
great sound, great cams, great band, great set list
thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks
Saves the day is legit and loved by so many. That’s why they can play TIHC and people still go ape shit
This set is amazing. Brings me back to my college days.
This is just amazing. No other words
goosebumps watching such energy
“Blindfolded” is such a crazy, teenage love song. The band killed it like it was 20 years ago…
55:07
Now na NAHH na no na now na NAHH na no na
is this like title fight for old heads
Yes
That's awesome lol I never thought I'd be the "old head dude" 🤘
Is title fight awesome melodic jersey hardcore?
Andrew D Awesomr melodic hardcore & more from Kingston PA
bomplibated how old are you 16
Regulate/No Pressure drummer at 54:32?
Dude the smile on his face is fucking melting my heart
Me han trasladado a la mejor epoca de mi vida. Saludos desde Nicaragua.
Why, if I go on the @Equal Vision Records website and look under tour dates, doesn’t it show Saves The Day? Also, why is there no new tour merchandise-T-shirts, hoodies-just the same stuff for the last 4 years? Can you update Saves The Day tour information on your website and add new merch?”
Greatest opening riff ever??? Hell yea
Best set I've seen from them in years.
By the 80th dude who kicked me from jumping on the stage, I hope he’s ready to fight
Loser hahas
Bloody awesome! Rod from the Pirate House in Ann Arbor is doing a great job!
I will be honest I only know STD from this era of songs and this is my favorite video ever. I dunno how the new guys play it so perfectly but they do.
Thank you so much for this.
vocals are insane holy shit
Sooo Lovely 30+ crowd from the 90s early 00 the last skatepunk generation! Miss those days👊
Damn, I haven't been a fan of STD since In Reverie but fuck, Chris sounds so good here. Especially playing the old songs, sounds identical. Did he refind his old school voice?
Thank you ♥️♥️♥️
Two of the best pop punk albums of all time. I can't imagine it's an easy thing being in your 40s, still making music, but people only wanna hear shit you made when you were 19. The ills of writing timeless albums.
fuck it! been listening to them since the 90s Philippines
Listen to.this band after hoods mentioned them lowkey my favorite band now
Chris’s voice Still brilliant
Man I can listen to these albums without skipping any track 😅
