Players of the 70s-90s were tough as nails playing on Astro turf ! That surface was literally like playing on pavement with green fake plastic grass on top!
I know this is a 90 oilers but the 91 thru 93 oilers would've put up better superbowl fights had they just got out those divisional rnds. Those were some crushing loses.
Refused to run the ball and slow the pace at times. Buddy Ryan got tired of his defense getting exposed because of all the quick 3 and outs and even the quick strike scores.
These 49ers were so good. If it weren’t for an unfortunate fumble by Roger Craig late in the fourth quarter of the NFC title game, no doubt in my mind they would have three peated. Just a sensational team
