Art greeting cards are so great to collect, and are much cheaper than prints. I love all of the fun things you bought, and I totally would have bought them all too…especially the stickers and colouring books! 😂
I am fairly new to the idea of getting the greeting cards instead, and I love it! They're also smaller, so easier to display if I end up with a lot of them over the years. I'm excited to try the coloring book. 😍
Hullo Miranda, When my nephews and nieces were young they came bye often, we were close and easy child care, I would have said baby sitters but we did not "baby" sit but when the kids got to be 7+ years old their parents felt more comfortable dropping them off for an afternoon or Saturday. Well I have always been cost conscious so my wife would buy coloring books and I would scan each sheet. They all had favorites and this way they did not have to share or have an argument over who got the Stitch or Deer picture, or later after Frozen came out, who got the best Elsa picture. They all could color the same pic and no fight other than who did the best job! I did the same when I re-started working with traditional mediums. I got some line work pieces and made copies as I needed to get the eye hand co-ordination back! I even purchased a state flower coloring book for the kids and found. I liked how easy it was just to print out or even carbon a copy to practice painting with different mediums. You might try this with your fancy new Glacier coloring books. This way you can try out different coloring pencils or pastels or even watercolors! Well I guess you got the "pulled string" comment today! Take care and enjoy your trip!
Such a good idea - I used to do that with some of my coloring books when I first started out. I may do that partially with this one, too, because I like your idea of trying a few different mediums or styles on the same picture.
Sounds like your trip was a blast! FYI the national parks puzzle you purchased, Dick Blick’s sells large sheets of paper with those same patterns. It’s great for collage, arting, etc. It may be available online but I’ve purchased it in one of their stores.

This was so fun!
Thanks!
So excited to watch your video!
Yay! Thank you!
I think I’ve seen something about paper made from elephant poo too! 😂 They eat plants, so…
Makes sense, lol.
The box says Chalk Crayons.
Yeah, turns out I'm not good at taking the time to read anything thoroughly when I'm doing a quick video, lol.
