@@brianv1988 There's nothing more you can do with it at the moment. We din't even know if ut's still modular since theyntook out the "sprawling modularity" from it's official description. So they might well have given up on that. We'll see.

Imo no, the whole point of the hull series is cargo capacity over safety. If you don’t want your cargo to be stolen take a ship with it cargo on the inside. Hull scarping yes tho
I'd say this would be a great idea for cargo inside ships, but not on ones like the Hull. Having to be in flight mode or vulnerable to drop something off can also be a feature for ships that don't have to worry about that?

I've never seen a livestreamer so enthusiastic about the game. Your videos show that there is a place for your level of positivity. Also i'm a big fan of the MISC design as well. I love the curvatures, the canopy and the interior doors.
22:28 I like how if someone presses the melee button in the game and your facing the opposite direction, it turns you around 180 degrees so you will face the attacker while he kills you.
That's both because its more cinematic, and also helps the receiving player understand what's going on. Having the screen just fade to black via stealth kill would be confusing.

I always laugh at pirates who make this comment. In a Verse where people can't be bothered to drag right instead of dragging down on hospital gowns, the laziest profession in MMOs won't be bothered to drag hundreds of boxes.

The reason the cargo boxes freaked out when you got near is the force of your thrusters pushing stuff around, even people. It's buggy, but it's a thing. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🎄🎁🎅
What RSI should do is create "Clean Up Missions" that reward players for removing space junk the longer that it persists. Like after 24H the servers can create a mission to retrieve/salvage the item/ship. After each 24H the salvage bounty keeps going up until it's worth fuel costs.
Its really cool what they are able to do now. i think the kick from your engines was disturbing the boxes and thats why they were flipping out on the CATT Wreckage. Either that or The physics of those objects does not kick in until a player gets close to them and they just freaked out. That ending though gave me ARK flashbacks.

At PO not all of those wrecks are necessarily mistakes. After a day of CS5'ing it around people (I mean me here!) will go to PO and wait for the turrets to eventually kill them. You have to turn your shield off and sit still, but eventually the turrets will work up to actually hitting you 😁 If you're about to log off anyway might as well do it in Club K
Maybe true, but I can't count how many people I've seen try and fly through the ring just to get destroyed. My buddy did it once and while I was waiting on him to respawn and get geared up 2-3 more people did the same. Lol.

The sad thing with Drake is, if you are hauling waste, you might end up loosing your ship at the waste disposal, because they mistake the ship for part of your cargo :)

The port olisar terminals have always been there (it used to be my favourite location in the game as it has all the basics). Regarding the wrecks - it would be cool if you could one day tow those wrecks away and salvage them somewhere else.

I've gotta say, I'm really ot a fan of the tractor beam gun thingy - I recall them showing off 0-grav cargo carts you'd have to use instead several years ago. Having a tiny little toy gun that can pick up huge cargo crates just feels... cheap.
Pro tip: if you have your multi tool attachments in your backpack / inventory, then you can actually change the attachments on the same multitool with "J" ...That makes it so that you only need 1 multitool equipped & 3 attachments in your backpack
There are systems that remove items based on load and item priority. I would assume these systems include main citys and hubs as to not make them clogged with plushiest.
2023 will be massive with the introduction of 3.18 and the rest of the year will be the overhual of the UI in SC (radar, startmap, mobiglass, MDF, ship hud, helmet hud , fps mini map and more APPs in the mobiclass )

With how glitchy the boxes are, I would love to use them like space rocks for my multitool slingshot, low chance of actually destroying a ship or killing a player, but on the chance that it does, it would be hilarious.

I have watched so many "playing star citizen first time" videos and when they crashed their ships it was just that, crashing your ship in a game. But now.... it actually leaves a mark on the environment, it's no longer just a thing that happened and did nothing except for resetting the player to the registered medical station. And another thing.. all this space litter will make it really hard to fly safely around stations, and that will get multiplied once we get hundreds, thousands or tens of thousands of players per server. Opportunity for a new ship class and gameplay loop? Wreck retrieval ships with big yellow spinny lights flying around stations to clean up the flight paths?! 😃
Olli all you have to do to requip everything is drag the undersuit onto yourself and you will equip everything from the other body.

Racing vehicle transport or a flying Marketplace with different stalls to sell stuff while you're in space there's so much you could do with it

At the very least I would expect some sort of locking mechanism which you can engage from the cockpit.

The starting altitude at Orison of 80km makes that 10km climb up to 90km soooooo much better. I'll definitely be spending more time in Orison now

As you Fly near the ground your thrusters put out a "Jet Wash ". That seems to interact with the boxes & Cat's hull throwing them around.
