I've never come across a section of the Bruce Trail (or any trail?) that didn't require dogs to be on-leash. Where are those areas? Also, when in Algonquin Park - nicest trail is Booth's Rock Trail. Do it by hitting the woods first, then it will take you up to the lookout and you'll be going down all the cool stairs to the Barclay Estate foundation (as opposed to climbing up them all, lol). A trail I expected to see is the Niagara Glen Trail. Takes you right alongside the mighty Niagara River.
Thanks for making this video... we havent been to any of these trails except the Bruce (or parts of it)😄 Now we know where to go in the next few weeks ! Great video😁😁
Thanks I am always making new hiking videos. I just finished the Split Rock Narrows trail this morning might be a couple weeks before the video gets done. Thanks for stopping by and watching my videos
I have the same its crown land and 8 know once exposed it's over it gets trashed and ppl from the city no offense but dont have respect the way they should to our beautiful province
Quite a few old hemlocks at Seaton trail. Also, happy that you pointed out Dundas Valley. In my opinion, that is an extremely underrated trail in Southern Ontario. Plenty of GIANT trees there & lots of history too. Yet another great video, cheers!
@@OntarioHikingTrails Cool, I studied at McMaster for four years so I know the area well. On top of the escarpment, close to the city is an amazing look out surrounded by old growth forest. The hardwoods in the area are true representations of Hamiltons pre-settler times. Its called Sanatorium Falls just off of Sanatorium Rd. You can't miss it, easy parking, short loop & cool history. I'm also going to suggest Cootes Paradise. If you enter via McMasters entrance or Church Hill Park, you are sure to find beautiful scenes of the bay front surrounded by GIANT oaks & pines. Let me know if you ever end up checking these places out, cheers!
Orange Corners Trestle has been resurfaced with polymer lumber. Gotta be careful now in the morning dew/ice as it's incredibly slippery. Glad it made it into you top 5! :-)
Were in Ontario are they located I know I can GPS but I don't have a pen or paper to write the names down but if I hear the place I can remember easily
Great trails!
Frig I wanna hike with you and yer two pups! 🤠
Ok let's plan for a hike sometime

Whys this an ad though?
Good picks....
But an ad?
Ok take care.
I am paying Google to get more exposure and boosting my subscriber count at the same time. It can be expensive but very affective.
@@OntarioHikingTrails ahhhh okay. Cool. :)
Wait you guys go outside ?
Yes why not?
