- If you're on the Fortnite side of RUclips, chances are you've encountered livestreams on your Shorts feed with captions like “Name one Fortnite skin I don't own” or “Find a skin I don't have”. While they may appear harmless initially, you'll soon recognise it as a deceitful scam. The creators use a developer account stacked with every skin to deceive fans into interaction, offering V-bucks as incentives for identifying a missing skin or making donations. It's disheartening to constantly witness this and in this video, I address the issue.

I got told on X/Twitter that this videos you mention weren't breaking any rules same as the ones with fake fortnite fashion show. I even find mulitple of this stream like this using the same clips but different channels.

I reckon RUclips should ban re uploaded streams so you can’t do the same stream over and over again the idea is they have to constantly record new streams and will eventually get tired of it and quit
This sort of behavior does not surprise me in the slightest. Clickbaiters have done things similar to this, crazy Epic Games/RUclips/TikTok doesn't do anything about this.

@@mumble340zzyou’re too young to understand, i’ve seen someone donate 75 US dollars and the streamer didn’t do anything. the kid said in the chat after that he said his parents would get mad at him if the streamer didn’t get given the vbucks and it would be a so called “vbuck hack.” he ended up begging for his vbucks and he didn’t get anything.

One time a guy promised that if you donated 100 dollars he said he would give tons of gift cards. About 10 minutes later someone donated 500 dollars and didn’t know that it was scam.
Forgot to add that at the same time someone else donated 200.

And another thing, I am starting to feel like the whole chat consists of bots, too. All the people are so repetitive and they all request the same skin over and over again.
One time I joined a stream and it was obviously the same looped 10 minutes like nobody was even streaming and there was 100s of comments spamming 😂
I recognize Fruit Boom before, he used to do roblox scams livestream and its mostly just a classic website scam and giving robux in group funds meaning they must have used a fake website before to make it real.
I didn't realise he was into fortnite now.
Oh wow, I had a feeling he was some sort of a RBX Trader before with the name and everything but I guess he wasn't. Met some decent creators on the RBX platform like Lonnie but there are a lot of the sour bunch which ruin it and not making any good with their followings.
youtube should troll these creators with putting a giant banner in red on their stream that says "This is fake dont fall for this" something along the line of that

It’s because almost any negative words related to scamming are blocked from the livestream so other people don’t find out the livestream are scams

the stream chats have filters that ruin any chance of anyone else seeing your messages. They'll still pop up on your screen but I and the ScammerSlayers have tested extensively and none of them could see my messages either.

Dude thank you for making a video on this! I found these types of videos ages ago and tried to report and nothing was done despite several separate reports. Such disgusting people.
They are using an EZFN dev locker which has every skin in the game
Another thing that I have noticed is that there are a bunch of bots in the live chat which just spam the same thing every time. Honestly, friggin scumbags.

I saw this a month or two back, and I realised it was a loop. I kept on reporting the channel but like you said, nothing was happening. I also tried to tell people in the chat that it was fake, but my messages were pushed back by the waves of names of skins and the ‘me’s. Thanks for making this video so people can be aware and not spend money on that shite. Don’t know how it’s not demonitised yet
It’s so unfortunate there are a lot of legit streamers as well that do find one Fortnite skin! I love watching these streams there are amazing! I love all of these streamers they are keeping RUclips alive 😝

Another 2 channels named Wns and Vipa (the one in your video) are most likey ran buy the same person.
Another thing is that some of the people who run these scams do have "live" videos but still scam.
He just did this as we speak right now 💀 (3:00). Everyone’s spamming ws in the chat as the random requirement (the actual viewers) The “winner” had subscribed, typed ws but had not liked.
Thank you for bringing awareness surrounding these streams which pop up on shorts! There was one where they flat out played dumb and just showed ghoul trooper without going in for the pink style request. Its mind-blowing with the audience trickery going on.

I'm in my mid twenties and I genuinely appreciate your tone of voice being more calm and mature because almost everyone I see doing Fortnite content is so loud and obnoxious where I don't even want to watch anything related on this website.
Now on topic of sc@ms like those, Considering I've been using the Internet since early 2000, I've seen so many different types and this one is just a different variation of Nigerian Prince. They promise you money and give nothing in return. I only feel terrible for those kids because It's their first time discovering it, which is why Internet safety should be a lesson taught at this point.

Just FYI Spamming the chat with this is fake or pre recorded comments doesn't work as the creators block those words from appearing in their live comments. So its better to report them for being a scam.

he was the first guy that i noticed what's going on there and i tryed my best to warn people but they just ignored me. i also spamed in multiple channels with ignoring if i would get banned or what ever. but sadly it did nothing, they ware still writing "me" and losing time from their life.

Yeah, sadly this is all too familiar. It seems like this type of content comes in waves. First, there was the infamous “MY SCREEN IS SHAKING, LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE AND TYPE ONE IN THE CHAT FOR THE EVENT,” and it's just them going into playground mode and repeating it.
I wanted to make a video about this because a person was saying that they had the Korra outfit (at that time it wasn't available yet) but, what made me scrap that topic was on of the live stream, he was saying that his video was not pre-recorded and I took his word for it. Maybe I've been scammed myself lol. But overall, amazing video and great investigation! Keep it up!

I genuinely saw a kid donate 100, not in another currency, 100 USD and I felt really bad for him, I genuinely wish he hadn't of done it but these sucks always make these naive children fool for it

I once saw a kid who gifted 50 dollars to one of these scum bags. It's honestly sad how these streamers are knowingly manipulating their young audience for some cash and just the thought of a kid being so excited to get his v bucks, asking their parents if they can donate to a streamer, only to realise they're getting nothing in return.
I'm so glad I'm not the only person fed up with it, I called out a streamer called "manny" he actually saw me call him out and stopped the stream for a small amount of time, they also deleted it, but doesn't matter. He streamed yesterday lmao.
I’m surprised how PremFN and you made videos about these scamming livestreams. I remember I saw a child who has a RUclips channel named “glitchgaming12” donated $200 to one of those livestreams and was asking the streamer for some v-bucks gift cards. I don’t understand why people donate over a hundred dollars when they could use that money for actual v-bucks. This may be biased, but I feel like all the little kids who donated money to those scam livestreams already have a bad childhood.

I used to fall for fake fashion shows because all they would do is say “YoU hAvEnT sUbScRiBeD sO wE cAnT sTaRt” I was too young to know they were prerecorded scammers
I saw one of Fruit Boom’s streams, and decided to watch for a bit. The sub counter going up was all I needed to confirm it being a real stream so I watched and guessed a few times. Although, later in the stream, he looked up one of the Guardians of the Galaxy skins (don’t remember which one.). They all have the same set name, so if you look up Guardians of the Galaxy they all shouldn’t appear. This was after the real money pack with Drax, Mantis, and GOTG 3 Groot. When he looked up the set name, the real money pack skins didn’t appear, so I knew he “didn’t have them” meaning I won. In the chat I kept saying “You don’t have Drax” or something like that, thinking he would of seen it. Too bad the stream wasn’t real, cuz I’d be a few thousand v-bucks richer if I was.
Also, kinda related but not really, I’m not a big fan of the vertical live streams on RUclips.

I think something RUclips could do to possibly phase out these streams is that they could add a possible scam box that appears when you first swipe onto the stream so you can decide if you want to watch it. This box would only pop up if enough people report it for it to be flagged to RUclips. If after a week of the Scam pop up being on any content their channel has if the content being reported doesn’t change then their channel will be demonetised and donations will no longer be able to be recieved. People who have donated will be able to reach out to RUclips for a full refund on their past donations and the streamers should get a temporary or permanent IP ban from streaming and uploading content to RUclips and other Google platforms.

Thank you for addressing this. In April there was a streamer name JexyShorts that told viewers he would say the N word if someone subs and never did, he even did the vbucks scam aswell to.
I was streaming on Shorts and his live was above mine so every person came in to my stream spamming the N word, I reported his live but RUclips doesnt do anything about it 🤦♂️
yeah i already knew from the start of those. there is many like that "ezfn,nlhybrid,boogiefn,lunafn,simbadev,blackknightdev,atomicfn," as most of the listed devs are ingame but only creative 2.0. they were originally made so you can test out every cosmetic but now their mostly used in party royale to flex. now i would not recomend doing this as you can receive bans from your account and a HWID BAN "hardware id ban" and or ip ban.

I recently started watching Fortnite lives and I been seeing that content! I got roped in once and commented some really early girlie skins that I like that I know no guy would have bought and he never picked my comment and you never heard anything in the chat abt the community or anything just skin names. lets also take into account that these are looped streams often 2+ hours long or so, just so no-one can tell that its looped... aside from screaming your lungs out for 10 minutes straight
As someone who does legit giveaway streams and games with viewers and then to look at the feed and see my same viewers getting scammed by streams like that, it sucks sooo bad. Thank you for calling out these loser streamers. Hopefully RUclips or Epic does something about it.

One thing no one is mentioning is they always have a weird vbucks amount on their account whether it be -20000 or 20000+. It’s because they are using a modded Fortnite download it’s perfectly legal but they can’t play any games cus it’s modded with every skin that’s why they can’t even use the item shop

Unfortunately, epic can't do anything about it. With private servers like Carbon or Neonite being super popular and may seem harmless, they are also a way to give people skins without involving epic games at all. It has nothing to do with your real account so you cant get banned. Personally, I wouldn't class it as a scam as it wont affect anybody. It is just a meer joke or troll.

There’s something similar to this trend where people act like they gift their viewers, but aren’t really doing it by doing the gift options thing and confirm it, and exits quickly to make it seem like they gifted. It sucks because it’s obvious that their vbucks aren’t dropping but kids are still falling for it.
I really hate how common these types of things are nowadays thanks for spreading the word.

They're just using Epic accounts, which have every single cosmetic in the game, even unreleased ones. Also the reason they have STACKS of gift cards? They're unactivated, meaning that they don't work. Also the creator code is usually the same, too
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE and i love how he referenced that one guy at 3:12 because that same guy changed his youtube channel name too!!
Finally, someone who reacts to this. Every time I see this on my shorts feed, I keep saying in chat it’s fake, but all the kids don’t believe me and just keep commenting and wasting their time on that stuff
