there are a total of
1,552 obtainable skins in fortnite
this is including indigo kuno as well
this doesnt include
Gemini (unreleased skin from chapter 1 season 8)
Sideline Commander And Spiral Specialist (the unreleased verisons of the football referee skins from chapter 1 season 6)
Brilliant Bomber (unreleased chapter 2 season 1 skin)
Volpez (unreleased skin that might release soon though)
Alias and Caper (those unreleased skins from chapter 4 season 1 heisted event)
i did this by going on the all outfits section
I Noticed it said there are 1,559 outfits in game
but since i knew there are some unreleased ones
i simply just counted how many unreleased there where
then subtracted that from the 1,559 skins in the list
and i got
1,552
so there are 1,552 available skins in fortnite
I think the skins that are gonna become especially rare are the older level-up quest packs and Psycho Bandit. Almost 1100 days since he returned and his code is pushing 800 dollars plus nowadays.

There are only two people who have had all skins up to chapter 3 (not counting people who work at epic): The Collector and Vutuner / The Collector stopped and Vutuner lost the account
epic gave 0 shits to vutuner, so frudtrating

Epic games themselves. They probably have early skins that haven't released or leaked yet cuz they gonna test them in-game before they release

i have 1520 skins (1523) after star wars challenges). missing quite a few. id say 1530-1535 for all. im missing a lot of skins still! og ch1s1s quads (rene aerial skill ghoul edits), black knight, enforcer, visitor, paradigm, tart tycoon, indigo kuno, trilogy, trench raider, travis, astro jack, blue team leader, blue striker, aeronaut, new + old male football skins + female rush (returned them), p1000. I AM MISSING 25 skins! its crazy to think I might still have the most skins in the game as of right now! 1523/1548

never spent money on cosmetics fortnite for 3 reasons:
1) the game is free to play and you don’t need to spend money to play
2) the only money i have spent on fortnite is to get save the world and i get vbucks there
3) one day we will grow out of fortnite and all that money spent on cosmetics will be gone

I have seen the lead devs in other games with every item, even items that weren’t released yet.
Personal examples as proof:
YaW on temtem has every single tem luma and umbra which is not humanly possibly to obtain, plus all cosmetics
[GM]Saidin had all weapons and even ribbons that were not released yet on Crossfire NA published by Z8games

Not possible to have every skin in chapter 2 there was a season that you had to pick ghost or shadow so it made it impossible to own every skin lol sorry

technically they were just styles, and not actual seperate skins, so it is possible to have every skin. Someone could have every skin but not have Omega lights, or Pink Ghoul or Purple Skull, because they're just styles at the end of the day.
