Excellent. and very informative I was using current body red and infrared and noticed my frackles were enhanced. Now I know that I have to avoid red light I wish I knew it before purchasing!!!!
I have large spots of visible capillaries in my face. They look much less after using my panel. They aren’t gone but it’s >50% less. The effect lasts a few days.

Castor Oil & RLT is 💯AMAZING!! Adding methylene blue next wk but i have a new MitoADAPT 2.0 which is incredible!! Already noticing age-related lines/wrinkles r going away but around my eyes r gone now... only a wk after using RLT & Castor Oil. Castor Oil is mos-def a positive factor!!

I noticed since using the Mayasama panel for a few weeks that it is great to use right after a chemical peel. I was using a new peel and left it on in some areas a bit too long. Using the panel the redness was gone in a matter of days whereas in the past it would take a week or so.

Thank you both so much for sending love and giving such an informed answer 💕 I've had a recent flare-up of pain from oncoming car lights. The photosensitivity is off the scale, and these new higher lights feel like full beam, and because of that, I'm seeing a neurologist. One of the treatments they offer is red light therapy!
Hopefully, it will help with the post concussion syndrome, too. Inflammation has been a huge part of the pain, and I don't want to be reliant on pain relief as my body would probably become used to it.

I have this brand’s panel and the Omnilux face and neck/chest masks. I use the Rooibos serum before use of either method. If I were to have to choose between the panel and the masks I’d go with the panel 100%.

One more question, and anyone reading this is to feel free to answer if you know. So if you have medium tone skin, you can use both the red and near-infrared unless you feel it's darkening sun spots? You said deeper skin tones, and I'm not sure I followed the term you used to quantify skin tone. I'm fair medium, but tan essily.
@@fiercest_calm you have it correctly. For fair-medium skin tones you can use both unless it triggers melasma, in which case you’d just use red light x

I'm super interested in Red Light therapy's effects on autoimmune disease. I have an autoimmune issue that affects mucous membrane and I am Always working on ways to keep inflammation DOWN so I don't exacerbate my issue. I'm hoping Red Light can help.

Love LED masks! Thanks for the video Gemma. Unfortunately I had condensation on my mask from currentbody - has anyone else had that problem? I then returned it and asked for a replacement but received an 'evidently' used mask. Quite shocked by this experience with currentbody 😢

I had a small red patch on my nose. My dermotologist said it was sun damage. My current body red and infrared light mask makes this more red. Why is that? My derm was not familier with red light. Really appreciate your answer. ❤
Couple of years ago I bought the Currentbody led mask, but I had to stop using it, I noticed more dark spots on my skin. I am in category 4 in Fitzpatrick scale I am wondering what led mask should I use. Any suggestions?

You need to get Dr Nathan Bryan on your channel he has a nitic oxide skin product as well as other .
He is world expert in the field studied under the Nobel prize winner in discovery of nitric oxide. I heard a Dr say that red light therapy should be done in the morning?
Just got the light serum to try. I liked the original but did sometimes rinse it off to remove the color.
Just like Bev, the derm & plastic surgeon owned medspa I use recommend now that for any treatment that causes injury as its method, like microneedling, to not use red light or do anything to dampen the effect for 24 hours.
Their reasoning is the same. If you try to heal too fast, you’re not getting the full effect of the injury/repair response.

Iike my skin got red when I used the mysama serum after the RLT mask so I quick rinsed it off and have not used since. I will try again since it sounds like the warm feeling happens? I got nervous and my face became slightly red
This was very good to know. I will start using only red light from now on but I have one more question: is there any serum that does not go with the roibus serum? I use a vitamin C serum, a Q10 serum and a multi peptide serum after using the roibus and my panel.
The serum shouldn’t hinder any other serum or cream x

it encourages collagen and elastin production which in turn can help with the jowl area, however you'll not see results immediately. If you want quicker results then the Ziip would be my recommendation x

Are there any risks to use red light when you have moles on your face?
I was so disappointed to have to return my mysama mask , I am light sensitive and unfortunately the mask triggered my migraines. Thankfully customer service was excellent and I got a full refund. I’d love to know of an alternative that would be suitable for light sensitive people?
The manual that comes with the light panel is basically useless. It's full of all kinds of scientific information, but when it comes to how to actually use it, ithere is way too much that is woefully missing. One of those things is the little button second in from the right that when you push it, the window says 10, 20, or 30. But there's NO information about what that's for, nor why one would choose the 10 for example as opposed to the 30. I choose the 30 because I figured that maybe more is better? But maybe more is not better. A thorough and detailed explanation of this would not only be appreciated, in my opinion is ethically necessary.
Also, how many hours apart should the sessions be? My skin doesn't respond well to the rooibos serum so I only use it once every other week or so. Does this mean I could do two treatments a day?

Not at all. You can achieve fantastic results with both. If you want more control over which frequency and light you'd like to use, then the panel would be a better fit, but if you'd like to be mobile whilst treating your skin, then mask is better for you x

FYI. My daughter and I use the original Maysama since it came out and have had no issue with color on our skin or pilling when using products.
My question is a mask or a panel better? I have been using a panel for years and wondering whether I should invest in the new masks with the neck addition.
The device that is better is the one that you'll use consistently. It's all about preference. If you like to be mobile when doing treatments, then a mask is better as you can move around. The panels have more options when it comes to deciding what LED light you would like to use and the frequency etc x
@@PamperedWolf Thanks. I am very consistent about my facial treatments so that is not an issue for me. The new Current Body looks like an upgrade from the regular face masks. An idea for a future show is one on sauna blankets. This seems to be getting a lot of buzz now.
I heard LED shouldn’t be used with tretinoin because it can cause irritation. I use Dermatica-should I avoid starting LED? Thank you!
I use both with no issues. If you're concerned I would recommend using LED in the morning and your Tret at night xxx

I use a retinaldhyde mixed with THD ascorbate (vit C) on purpose with my panel, and my skin has had no problems.

I would love to take advantage of the discount but could you check with Bev if taking Fexofenadine (anti histamine) and Ezetimibe for lowering high cholesterol, plus I’m on the progesterone only pill, so would these red light devices be suitable for me?

So I have fair skin that is darker due to age. I'm 51 with a lot of sun damage. I have two age spots on my face. I wish they were gone but my bigger concern is collagen and saggy skin. So I'm wondering if near infrared would be more helpful? But I don't want more age spots of course!
@@sonjaforrester9255 age spots aren’t melasma so unless you have melasma you should be fine with near infrared. My mum has had great success whilst using a mask that does both red + Nr infrared simultaneously xxx
