I was fishing in the same place with my boat but we didn’t catch much and I haven’t caught a redfish in 3 years. I’m glad you had some tide movement we didn’t have any last Sunday
@@fishinwithferg6048 we used to catch them on every trip but now not so much. I think it’s all the pressure put on them with the bow fishing outfits. I have watched them keep small redfish

The tide was rising all day. I used the marker 54 hard plastic shrimp beneath the undertaker cork, bench top custom tackle jerk bait, and matrix x shad on death grip jig head.

I hear ya on the redfish, I’m not the best at catching them either. You just have to keep plugging away at it, they are out there.

@@pault5816 I agree. I only keep what I’m going to eat fresh. I am ready for the change on the spec limit and size. Big trout are hard to come by.

I launched at the public boat launch. Fish are thick everywhere there right now.

Did Ty tell you what our new limits are for trout since the big freeze? 17-23 and you can keep 3. Ugh...
Dang! Our limit is about to change to 13 1/2”, and keep 15. I’m glad though. Hopefully it’ll let a few more grow to become trophy trout!
