Welcome to Fishin with Ferg. I’m Mike Fergason and have been fishing the greater New Orleans area for over 20 years. I enjoy fishing from land, kayaks, and boats. It is my goal to bring you some of the best inshore fishing south Louisiana has to offer.
My son’s first rio grande cichlid!
My son and I fished New Orleans city park and he caught his first Rio Grande Cichlid! He also wore out the perch!

This is my attempt to better myself at catch and cooks! I fried up the trout Todd caught. He didn’t have the time to deal with the fish so I was more than happy to take the harvested fish!
