I think Henson has great stories. I like how he relates them. They are good with me. However nursing a child until they are 3 is quite the feat that I think I’m unable to do. Maybe almost two would be tops. He did have some wonderful Aunts who adored him and still do.

I used to moo alot when I nursed two of my three kids. My daughter had a cleft pallet and couldn't nurse. Dibs looked so graceful hopping into the trailer. She almost levitated.

Weaning tips 101! Love it! We took our mare to another farm instead. I wish I knew about the unsaddling tips when I had horses over 30 years ago. I had to learn on my own. 😂

Watching Henson unsaddle was interesting as i have never ridden western . your saddles look heavy. May I ask if you use a curb chain on those bits because I didnt see one but maybe I missed it.

They ARE heavy! In fact I hate saddling and unsaddling for Henson- his saddles are crazy heavy!! Yes, we use curb chains on our bits.

I know exactly how you feel. I have a son as well who is a senior who also plays baseball. The nice thing is that I am one of his coaches. He doesn't seem like much of a son this year and more like a "roommate" who lives in the same house and eats our food. We don't know if he's home half of the time. We buy our saddle pads from a local gal that makes them when she gets a chance. Our bridles are very basic and aren’t anything in particular

He just cubed up potatoes and spam and fried that and made some Bueno Red Chile- I’ve never seen it sold anywhere other than the Four Corners area and it comes in a frozen tub… you just add a few ingredients like salt and garlic to taste, some people add oregano.
