Dobermans are just incredible! I would be in the family room and ask him if he wanted to go for a walk. I told him to get my shoes (sneakers). He would go down the hall to my bedroom and come back with a “shoe.” Of course he made a second trip to get the other. He also went outside to bring in the newspaper. Smart obedient and friendly. Best dog ever! Highly recommend for a family. 😊❤️🙏🏼🐕🦺
Absolutely 100%!!! You will have the most loyal protector and best friend for life. You need not ever fear this dog. You do need to train and work with him/her every day and teach this dog as you should with any breed YOU ARE IN CHARGE! Of course play everyday and exercise. I promise you will not regret having one in your home.
Every dog owner states their dog is the most loyal. I believe it’s a species thing. Way back when, we saved them and in doing so, we secured a creature just for us! And in the end we’re not worthy of the love, loyalty, and courage they show us. We fail them too damn much! I am not saying you people that haven’t, I meant the inhumane humans that hurt and abandon these noble creatures we’ve created. I rescue and have for years, and I have an awesome mixed dog that was abandoned in an RV. She’s my everything!!

I have a male Doberman. Black n rust 2 years old runs 10 miles everyday. Theyre incredible. This is normal for dobermans if u spend time with them. Really strong intelligent loyal n brave. Great dogs

Dobermans are brilliant! I had a Dobie Shephard mix. I would tell him, "I think I'[l put on a fire. What do you think?" He'd run upstairs, get his bone, and be sitting by the fireplace in ten seconds, ready to crunch and gaze into fire with me. God I loved that dog!
She was a beautiful girl and so very smart. My Doberman will be 11 December 28th. He's been having issues dripping for over a year so we have him in a washable diaper for dogs. We are so blessed to have had him all these years and hopefully we'll have him a few more. God bless
Ruby and Charles had the kind of relationship that all Doberman owners should aspire to. Dobermans being a team with their human is a Doberman living his/her best life, and everything about Ruby radiated that she was living hers. It may have been short, but I know in those few years she lived more joy and love than many, many dogs have the good fortune to live in much longer lives. Well done, Charles, and well done Miss Ruby! Years ago, my uncle found a Doberman, apparently hit by a car, on the Belt Parkway. Those were the days long before there were chips in dogs or the internet, so the owner was never found. He named the dog Coco because it was the light brown colored Doberman. He brought Cocoa out to us on Long Island, where my mother took him to the vet for the care he needed since my uncle didn't know anything about dogs. When Coco was well, he went back with my uncle Johnny and lived a very happy life. He was a great dog, loved kids and loved guarding his home.
And they say dogs can’t talk or understand. Ruby is such a special angel. Her and my Kona are playing together. 😊😊❤❤😊😊 dogs make us humans better humans!!!

Dobies are smart and sweet. I had 2, and I loved them so I much as they did me. Sadly they both died after several years. They sometimes get a bad rep. Also they are so cute before and after they get their ears clipped. If ever I get a dog again it would surely be a Doberman. Miss my dobies, and Ruby was ADORBS!
Omg! She’s beautiful! Such a sweetie❤ my brother has had dobies for over 30yrs, he lost Jack at the start of this year an undiagnosed heart problem. But he was devoted to jack he was 7. Broke our hearts, I was scared we were losing my brother he was alone in his home. So I decided he needed another Dobie , as he lived alone he couldn’t have a pup so he was resigned to wait until he retired. So being the annoying little sis , I suggested a rescue dog instead not a baby, but a bit bigger. I found there were rescue charity’s the delt exclusively with Dobies. Long story short I made him fill out a online form saying he wanted to adopt a young Dobie. The day they came to check out his beautiful 200yr old cottage with half an orchard garden. He got a phone call saying they had just rescued a young dog, was he interested. As soon as we saw the pictures of a leggy Black and Tan boy, that was it !. a week later we drove five hours to meet him, it was love at first sight for both of them. They’ve been together now five months, they couldn’t have picked a more perfect match! Kenzo is a darling and a dork!, his training is going well and he’s so loving. Thank you for posting your beautiful girl . It’s sad that Kenzo lost his home, but my brother loves him so much, I think they saved each other.❤
What a remarkable beauty. So smart and gentle. You have devoted a lot of time and love with her. Dogs like humans need a purpose to stay grounded. My Boston Terrier has a dedicated purpose, to rack up the most scratches ever given to one dog. I think she is winning.

This is why I love Dobies. I was lucky to have had two rescues, one female and one male over the years. They are uncanny judges of character.
