Stupid cowboy ways
🤭
Stupid thoroughbred ways; see, Pammy, it can go both ways; eat your own candy bar, mind your own business
Henson, I've been training for 25+ years and worked on various breeds including American Bashkir Curlies. Based on my experience, I say each horse is an individual, just like people. Does lineage play a part, absolutely! I've heard people refer to Hancock horses being hard to train. I'm unaware if any horses that I've worked with had Hancock blood. I just treat each one as an individual. My vote is you continue to train as you have been training.
I love that you show that most horses just want to be good.
Henson is an amazing trainer. He is smooth, patient, and excellent at reading the horses .
Impressive how nice they tie already. They remembered their baby lessons.❤
💯
Hensen i have been training for 35 yrs.Good job.U are one hell of a hand!Keep it up.Cowboy!I like ur Hands.Like mine Soft an Easy. That makes a trainer.Great job.An a trainer is quiet.Danielle.Great job on ur part girl.Keep up the good work.
I really liked the next to the last mare Henson was working with. Beautiful and intelligent. Danielle, you are doing a great job with your new equipment so don’t get stressed out over it. It always takes time to learn something new and challenging but you are more than able to git er done. Thanks for another interesting and educational video. Blessings to you all.
Over the top breeding and training program , Jerry and Henson deserve 5 stars with their knowledge of raising phenomenal Horses. A very common sense operation and having fun doing it!
Thank you for the upload, and the work you put into it. Such a great foundation Henson Is
building on those Colts.
Yes please
Technology Sucks for me as well, but you're doing a great job. The Broncs look fantastic.❤ the video.
All the best horses I've ever started and used were heavy Hancock bred. Never offered to buck or anything. Great minded boogers
Hello. When you say 2 year old horses are they 24 months, 30 months old?
Gosh I think your learning curve with the camera work is short you got this Danielle the color and crispness in the video was excellent.
I think Henson's getting more of a work out the the 2yr ..lol..🤣. I love the great job you guys do with all your horse. I think you guys do a great job . The horses ate beautiful, an very comfy with what you are asking of then. I could watch you Henson trying or starting colts all day. Thank you for great video ❤❤❤🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏
Another great video!
I hear ya girl ain't technology fun🤦😵
Ur do'n a great job!
Just keep paddling 😉
I know Henson was joking but I like the name "Salty Ranger" it has a nice ring to it.
Great video! Love watching ya’ll working the young horses. ♥️♥️🐎
Here I am all excited I started riding a colt in 8 days. Henson doing it in 20 minutes. 😂😂😂 I’ll just keep doing it as a hobby I guess
😂 yeah- he definitely is a professional and has found a method that works for him. He’s probably started thousands of horses in his lifetime so he’s had some practice 😊
Good evening here from Romania I greet you with respect Marius 🙋🇹🇩🐎🤠
Hanson’s got a good gallop 😂! Great video! Hang in there . I know you’ll have that new camera and soft ware down soon!
You have one named Easy you should call him Smooth. Looks like a tall one.
Hensen still a kid at heart, and what a talent.
You mentioned that you didn't know the sires and dams of certain colts. Has Jerry ever thought of branding colts with a mare line number and a stallion brand? That way you know exactly which foal is which. I know he and Henson know but now that more of your stock is being offered to the public, it could be a good marketing tool down the road.
@jheartquarterhorses
I have a line bred hancock gelding. He's my favorite.
Henson has a great deal of patience and understanding of horses , lve notice all of you has a family have a great deal of love and knowledge of horses which is bred in close knit ranching families ! Danielle dont worry about your camera skills we re all learning , you do a lot helping Henson , raising your family and showing us some of your daily lives !
They all look really good!! Mr Salty is sure cute. 😍
Oh my goodness Danielle, I was so excited to see that you had a new video out 😃 Simply made my day! Henson you better be careful 🫣 with all those SUPER WILD BRONCS!! 🤣 Sorry your new equipment is so much more difficult Danielle 🤔 but I know you'll get it figured out soon. I greatly appreciate all you do to get us all these super cool videos 😊 Love and Blessings to all at the PDR ❤ ✝️ Jennifer
Henson is doing he’s own bucking running around there lol
Henson has a nice lope It looked as if he was cross fired
🤭
The double edge sword from 'new technology' (i.e. your new camera) - great features & benefits, but the learning curve (if you are not immersed in that field) can be daunting. Food for thought - if your issue is the editing software why don't you check out your local community colleges - they may offer a (cheap) course in video editing / editing software.
RUclips has been a great learning tool for me- free and accessible whenever I have a question😁
💯You are absolutely right (and I, too, must confess I have used RUclips to learn something I did not know). I guess my comment betrays my age (lol!). @@PaintedDesertRanch
Love watching’ Hanson work! Beautiful horses! Danielle, doing good with the new camera and thanks for getting Hanson a mic! Cowboy Up🤠
👋🐎👋🐎 Yatay Danielle and Henson.. cheap Bronx. Lol good title. Thank u for sharing. Oh .. 💓 Happy Shi heart.
Yall are the real deal. I love to watch the video
So glad to see a video ! Thanks Danielle for your hard work! Please keep them coming ! Funny you haven't named Baby Dibbs yet 😂
Much love from Ks ❤
🤭
A great video as always. I always marvel at how great a mind your horses have. To your knowledge has anyone ever trained one of your horses for bulldoging?
Yes. I believe one has even been at the INFR
Impressive. Love to see such experienced pros work.
OMG, soooo many bronks, what y'all doing out there on the pdr. Ha ha, 20 years younger and I'd buy that Sorrell colt that move out clean and smooth. Great looking prospect.
When you showed the line up of everyone tied. I was like, yep like that Chestnut with the one hind sox. Then you said dash dad later in the video I was like yep, love those dash hips he puts on em...looks alot like John Wayne's horse in the later movies called Highboy. Same nice build, white stripe, only one sox but still pretty athletic build like highboy❤. Thats gonna be a nice one when he's all filled out ❤...brains too, good combo.🐎
That’s a fun name 😊
I like watching Henson starting 2 year Olds he knows his blood lines which I find impressive they are all very nice horses.
Good to see Val back. Keep the training videos coming. I enjoy watching each yearly coming to knowledge what Henson is asking of them
Rocky Salty
I need a “smooth bucking” horse!
Guys I have missed y’all. Thanks for the video and please keep them coming.
Awesome video, I also have a Double bred Hancock horse by the named of🍰just want to let you know that I bought one of your stickers today the Jheart at the store! What an awesome little sticker! Thank you for your videos! Your training is off the charts! Much love and respect!

I want the number 2 sorrel !!! He’s awesome !!!
I'm so proud Spring is coming! Missed ya'll! 😊❤
Me too!!
More pleeeease.😢
I have every confidence you'll get the camera going well. You're a super smart and talented lady.
Seeing Dibbs baby is looking at the next barrel champion!
If you ever have an older, broke horse, let me know. I'm getting better, but probably need something easy going if I van ride again. Thanks!
Great video. Amazing, how much you get done, in such a short time.
You don't need to try to make emmy award winning videos. Ee just love your family and ranch . Dont be so hard on yourself over quality. Dont waste money on cameras and stuff !! Use that money to buy Henson a new belt buckle or something !!
Great video keep them coming please
I have enjoyed every second of your colt starting! I’ve been training for more than 40 years and you have got this down to an absolute science! LOVE ME A HANCOCK bred horse! I also am completely OBSESSED with Doc Bar bred horses! They will work a cow naturally and are crazy athletic!
Hey guys, when I seen your video on my iPad, it made me smile. It’s been a while really enjoy your videos.
IMHO the mares raise the foals and are huge part in breeding programs
Watching this gives me flash backs of them days on a TB farm, starting 2yr olds. 3rd day was on the track w/a 4wheeler as my pony. I learned how to hit the track in the perfect dirt angel.
Was that the Navajo word of the day from Henson. 🤣😁😆
😂
Hi Danielle, my wife was a professional photographer. Since she passed away I have been trying to find a good home for her gear.. most of her lenses are 2.8 canon including a 2.8 image stabiized 70x200 zoom. I would ship them to you with her canon 7d camera body if interested. Let me know how to contact you
Oh my goodness! 🥹 really?? Yes I would so appreciate them 🤗 info@painteddesertranch.us
Henson seem to have more bronc in him than those Hancock colts!
😂
I've. Missed you guys.
That bay stud is awesome
Love it
Glad to see you sticking with video editing Danielle.
Henson got lots of exercise on this video...the skipping was the best ever!!! Thanks for sharing Danielle Not sure why I didn't see this video when it first came out but I got to view now...
That’s how my Hankock broncs start
😂👍🏼
Great video! I especially love the fuzzy blonde colt…she’s so darn cute!
Very impressed with your training methods. 1880 Drifters have talked of your training and horses. Great video
Thanks! They seem like a great bunch- would be awesome to meet them someday 😊
Awww it's that time of year 🤩🥳 that chestnut colt with the single sock and white blaze is a keeper 🐴❣
PDR when are the baby foals start to be born on the ranch? Does Henson prefer to work with colts more or filly?
We always prefer fillies & mares
April
Good stuff, I have missed your videos.
That's alot of information to remember for as having the amount of horses and cows yall have knowing the breed the dad and mom and all that goes with it.
It is! I don’t remember most of it, but the guys sure do!
Doing a good job there Henson(sp)? What stirrups are on that saddle please
Spelling is correct… I’ll have to ask him about his stirrups
I’m thinking all of them would be named ranger and Danielle says then they would all be named ranger lol
😂
Good job folks keep it up.
Great job appreciating your content
Danielle youre supposed to do the navajo tongue click and whistle then say "dang hun you got some skipn skills.." 😆
And you didn't interpret Henson going "lizh"..😅
🤣
Oooh I like the Baroness!!! 👑❤
❤❤👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Are these horses being trained for ranch horses? They are super smart. They look like they know their jobs even as babies!
These horses can go on an do almost any discipline. Thank you.
So 1 Hancock was a bronc 😂😂
If you're gonna wear SPURS .... "USE THEM" on breaking the colts to MOVE & RIDE!!!!
As opposed to what?
Lol at Henson he's a bronc
Great looking colts and fillies!
What camera did you get? That first part looked like one of the "flat" profiles that are intended for heavy post editing.
Haha, you’re correct… I couldn’t even figure out how to post edit the color! 🤣 Sony ZVE1
@@PaintedDesertRanch ZV-1 or ZV-E10 I don't think they have ZVE1
Edit; I was wrong they do have ZV-E1
The bay has my heart the most 28:51
Salty is awesome 29:12

Sorry, but that is one bloodline I stay away from Hancock.
Sorry to hear. Everyone has their preferences
Yay. Flooding horses because they are just… not worth the effort. Gooood job
Flooding?
I think Henson cheated -- Brooks probably tamed this batch last year!
Right?! 😂
Why are they called broncs? Sorry know little.
It’s a joke. A bronc is a horse that is known to buck… most people think of the Hancock line of horses as buckers/ broncs- they really aren’t
"Let me go lizh," iss. 😂
🤦🏻♀️
Lol. . After 3 days I still get a laugh of henson.. I gotta go lizh.. lol. .
😂
Aren’t they too young to be ridden at age 2 ?
Everyone is different be we find 2 is the best age for our program. I could name a dozen reasons why
What about socks for the sorrel with the socks
🧦
Pros NOT ...
👌🏼
