When I was young, in my grand parents village, when it was winter I loved the sound of fire and from the wind. We use to have a cat, and she love to sleep under my blanket purring all the night. Best sleep ever

@bennym1956 yes it can be...but I'm always prepared for anything when I go including any weather condition and maybe having to stay longer... never been in a situation where I felt out of control...have been wet, cold, hot sometimes but no big deal..
Hiked away from my truck one time..maybe 3 - 4 miles, in rocky mtns., instance snow and ice storm with just a day pac...crawled under a everygreen, with fire out front..100% dry, warm and snacked on my cheese and p/b crackers, hiked out next morning...no big deal.

I've been up for 20 hrs and I have to be back up in 2 hrs, but I've been having SUCH insomnia restlessness lately. Somehow I had a feeling that flutes would help to soothe me, but this video was even better than I expected. The music and reason are perfectly gentle and balanced so there's no startling dynamic changes, and the background scenery is beautiful and relaxing as well, so soft and still and comforting. As soon as I turned this on I felt the bodily tension and frantic thoughts melt away into perfect peace. My eyes are already closing. Thank you so much for this good medicine 🙏💜

I have that almost exact tent, a Hubba Hubba clone. I watched RUclips videos to learn how to set it up with the tarp first and tent second just for situations like that, and you keep the poles and fly separate. I also hammock camp and so you always have the tarp at the top of your backpack in case you need to put that up first before stringing up the hammock.
