I'm super new to the game and have been slowly getting this deck together over the past month and a half waiting for BT14 to finish it. I don't even care if it's top tier, I honestly just love Wargreymon and can't wait to finish the deck and finally play it.
I think playing the bt5 koromon is better due to its when attacking draw u can’t always check 5 turn 3-4 besides it’s a guaranteed draw when attacking but with the other koromon if he blocks u won’t be able to draw
Mario, to get those BT14 cards, did you... buy the presales? As for your build, I'm surprised you're not bricking more often. Two of your Agumon search, which is nice, and the training boosts give you 2 cards as options, but sometimes you need the MetalGreymon or the MetalGreymon X, and you really need to dig for them.
@@Yakkosprite exactly, a few red memory boosts instead of training boosts maybe, and replace a few BT14 Agumon with BT5. That will find the Omnimon in the deck as well.
@@benjaminwiseman6567BT5 agu isn't relevant anymore at this point greymon needs those inheritables and BT5 doing effectively what x-antibody does without the free extra draw isn't worth it
@@daredae436 He's not obsolete. The promo Agumon is. You still need 4 of Agumon X Antibody. It's really nice though when you can search with an Agumon, take 1-2 cards, digivolve into Agumon X for free, then take another 1-2 cards. When you only have 4 Agumon who search, you're less likely to pull off that combo.
Promo is obsolete but because of BT-14 having the same inheritable as well as free evolution into greymon also while originally yes BT5 worked well with BT9 for a potential one to two of into another potential one to two of, it's more worth it to do that combo with BT12 agu. being able to search an Omni along with a greymon isn't worth reducing your DP when your goal is to punch over what's on field and have no risk of dying to security From the mix of trainings two out of three of your rookies being searchers as well as your free draws from ex evolutions consistency is not an issue to where you can willingly sacrifice DP just for a third searcher
Interms of level 4 Greymons i perfer Bt5 Greymon over Ex1 one. Evolving to it for free then gaining 1 memory from its on evolve effect feels nice. Also its another +2k dp from ESS.
I think they’re very strong. While on paper, they don’t seem much better as they look at less cards and don’t directly gain new memory, which seems more limiting. The ability to grab almost any card in your deck is very strong on top of that. I would argue when you were using memory boosts you most often we’re doing it for an evolution anyway so the fact that they only work to reduce evolution does it feel significantly worse? I’m not gonna say there are not edge cases where that’s not the case but it’s not as if it is a drastic decrease. I think one of the biggest changes it causes, which I didn’t notice until I played with them is the fact that you don’t give your opponent three memory as consistently. Obviously, they can still play their own training boost on their turn so those still can get easily played, but I had games today where I would have a searching agumon in hand and it’s X antibody and instead of being able to search the top for cards and then afterwords an additional three I had to either only search the top four or just Evo in the back. At first I thought they were mostly additional consistency pieces but as I’ve played with them more, I’ve come to realize that in most ways they are just better and at worst they do just act as additional consistency pieces. I apologize if any of this is a little bit scrambled I am using voice to text because I just don’t feel like typing something this long out frankly.
The deck is tier 2 War is consistent but is slightly getting power crept, also they did take a big hit greymon x virus is way more dangerous than mach.
I'm normally a Greymon player. I decided to bring Armor Rush to regionals. I beat the Greymon deck. It's a classic stack deck without much room for additional techs, and I like the simplicity of it, but there are so many more versatile decks, including Mirage, that can beat Greymon with the right build and pilot.
@@benjaminwiseman6567 yeah armor Rush is looking to be amazing it's especially nice since we get a lot of the good pieces for the deck like the new vee and Davis along with ukko taking advantage of buka
@daredae436 wargreymon is definitely not tier 2. Bt11 GreyX made the deck tier 0 deck now it is tier 1 little morr fair i guess and its still topping events. Come bt14 deck is a monster. Machgaogamon for sure was a japan hit. Mirage did nothing bt13 besides ultimate cups

Also the deck like to swing with metalgreymon a lot ot get rid of a body, bt14 koromon won't give you a draw for that
So its a month out, what would you change in this now mario?
I’ve worked out a deck that goes from a rookie to mega with 5 checks for only 3 mem XD

What would you add as searchers? I currently play a Wargreymon deck and my searchers are those agumon plus a few red memory boosts. Never bricks

Yep, I'm running 3 BT5 and 3 ST1 Greymons and can't see myself changing anytime soon.
@@tomparker8282yessir, solid lineup with those ratios
I'm agree with you bro I'm running 3 St Greymon - 2 Bt5 - 3 BT12 - 3 Greymon X and the Limited Greymon X dual that's my lv4 lineup
What is the counterplay to beat this deck
Machinedramon
Zudomon ace and remove all of their sec+
Blue Hybrid
pick any otk deck. Blue Flare, ShineGrey. It is still a wargreymon deck and it still bricks
12:22 did he just say bt 12? xd
Are the training cards that good? They just seem like the memory boosts but with less cards that are revealed
You can grab any card of the colour instead of digimon only, and there are less floodgates in the game that prevent reducing digivolution cost

When they randomly ban cards like machgaogamon but let decks like this run rampant 🤣😅

Greymon Trading Card Game!!
In Japan, greymon is not meta at all. But I am glad Digimon actually supports its main character themes.
