its amazing how neither of these endings conform to a good or bad ending. their truly just different and cruel and kind in their own contrived little ways.
In one ending James saves the people who are to be sacrificed, thus showing that he is trying to do as much good as he can thus draculae decides to turn him so that he would end up like her even if he does not want too. James takes it because he has hope that he can do good. In the other James kills the sacrifices to keep them away from draculae doing the wrong thing with a good goal in mind which is why the line changes she says he wants to be special like everyone else compared to him still wanting to be special despite everything in the first ending. Thus she denies him the chance to be special.
Should’ve been an ending where none of the vampire stuff was real and they’re just strung out junkies dying in a motel room. Draculae had been murdering people for drugs and James decided enough was enough and decided to end her.
All things rot is what I'm afraid of. I think a solid chunk of the game was dedicated to challenging the idea of good and bad. Simply going for, what is.
@Dracossaint not so sure James was a good man prior to this and was on the path of recovering from addiction now that the negative influence on his life is dead and gone. I believe he'll continue to do good, and when the time comes, he'll rather die than preserve his immortal life
Hard to tell which was the good and which was the bad ending. I guess I technically got the "good" ending, but idk, him living forever as a vampire doesn't seem like the good ending..
🤔 Maybe the discussion in steam, too bad this game had so little audience. Basically a guy fall in love with a vampire, and the vampire was first restraint herself from drinking blood because of love. But slowly got insane due to the hunger and once tasted blood again, decided to just let the hell go loose and decided to summon the end of the world, and her boyfriend go to stop her.
One ending, they both die in hell if you save all the hostages, another he will be a vampire as he doesn't want to die in hell, and decided to just become a vampire 🤔

Personally we love the bad ending more 🤔

it was a good game, i didnt even know there was a 2nd ending
Scars Fade makes me feel James will be a "good" vampire, not a monster
