    Hi! Where I'm from, cheese boards are not a thing at all, but I love it, so I DIY it for my family and myself sometimes. What I love about your videos is that, when you discuss a topic, you cover every angle or perspective imaginable. It helps a lot. Thank you. I love your videos. It's great to simply watch them, even if I don't do anything.

    Thanks so much for your easy to follow videos! After watching your three videos on portion size, cheese slicing and folding meat, gave me the confidence to start making my own mini charcuterie boxes. I made my first boxes yesterday for gifts using the rule of thumb 2 ounces of meat and 4 ounces of cheese per box since they were meant for one person. But it didn’t look like there was a lot of meat and cheese in the pastry boxes. Can you recommend or make a video on what cheeses to use and how to organize a charcuterie box? I tried with different styles and the one with the Rose looked the best in my opinion but 2 ounces of meat isn’t a lot to work with in a box. Thanks in advance!

      What size box did you use? for my personal size, I would recommend a 4x4 or 6x6

    Thank you for this! So to clarify, the 5 oz for everything else means that everything else TOGETHER weighs 5 oz. Not 5 oz grapes 5 oz nuts etc…so each person gets 2.5 ounce each of extras ?

    Hi.. Thanks so much! Is that parchment paper you are using? Also, what if the client wants to buy them and hand them out a day or two later. Will the crackers stay fresh? That is my main concern. Crackers in a refrigerator don't give me the warm and fuzzy feeling. Thank so much!

    • @figbleucharcuterie9916
      @figbleucharcuterie9916  Год назад

      Hi! Yes, parchment paper. No, I always tell my customers that my picnic boxes are meant to be consumed same day. I don't like crackers in the fridge either!

    Where do you source the cheese thats made with wine? Were a winery in Isaho and id love to try some?

    • @figbleucharcuterie9916

      I would search local artisan cheese makers near you. But otherwise, most grocery stores carry the bellovitano. Or you can get a similar one from trader joes

    Do you think I can use Christmas decorative wax/parchment paper for my craft boxes? Does this help the charcuterie not get bad?

    • @figbleucharcuterie9916
      @figbleucharcuterie9916  Год назад

      I think so? I use it because the box will absorb moisture from the cheese and meat. Its just nice to have a protective layer
