    The first copper colored fish was a croaker, which is part of the drum family just like the speckled trout. Great video.

      Thanks. I figured maybe missing the spot. Good to know. I am still learning the fish down here. It was easier up north lol. Only had so many fish. Down here all sorts of creatures.

    Love that trout action, but I'd have had to keep that 18 for the pan. Not much better than a couple of fresh speckled trout fillets, beaded and fried! Really great to see you get on them like that!

      Yes fresh fish is awesome to eat. I am all still catch and release. Maybe one day I will start carrying a cooler bag with me. Flounder is still my favorite out of trout and reds. I am grouper and snapper eater more.
