The original SE was my main driver from its release date until late 2020. I waited for apple to release a new small phone, and my wish came true when the 12 mini was released. I've been using that one since then. I changed the battery on the old SE, and I keep it as an emergency phone (like if I were to break my 12 mini at some point, or if a relative breaks his phone too). Still runs great on iOS 15 for basic tasks.

Lucky enough for me someone on ebay was selling a 2020 2nd gen for a fair price. So i upgraded to get the more recent chip and the larger screen didn’t either. This iPhone has been working out for me just fine. I still miss my SPACE GRAY 1ST GEN SE.

I’ve had an OG SE years ago and great phone despite the battery life.
    Few little things, 1. It’s a 4 inch screen,
    2. I would always turn off Bluetooth and data at night so you wake up in the morning with some battery because as an iPhone 13 mini user you have a small battery like an SE.

Got my iPhone SE (2022) in like new condition a couple nights ago. No flaws and for only $150 on OfferUp. I'm getting the same A15 chip as the 13 series and non-Pro 14s. It's for T-Mobile which I already use but called them last night to unlock it and it took less than 5 minutes.

If you can deal with the outdated design, getting an SE3 for under $200 is the best deal you can find today. I personally hate Face ID as I use my phone a lot in the dark. I drive at night for work. And the notch can get in the way when watching movies or TV shows.

I'm not a big iPhone fan. I only got it because I nearly threw away my Razr 5G by accident. It slipped into a garbage bag after I was cleaning my car's interior and I had to retrieve it from the bin I threw it in. I'll keep my Razr 5G mostly at home for a year since it isn't fully paid off.

SE3 will be my main phone for a year or until House of the Dragon airs in 2024. SE3 will be the last to offer a home button and perhaps Touch ID, LCD, and a sim tray for the U.S. market. The SE4 will look more like the XR with likely the same A15 chip. I had a 12 mini and just HATED Face ID. And games like Forgotton Anne don't play properly on phones with Face ID.

The swipe up gesture can ruin the experience as that also is the same gesture for volume or brightness for Netflix. It's weird that my $150 SE3 has become my most powerful phone I own when I'm only using it temporarily as a main phone for a year. Offers better value than a Duo 1 at the same price.
Even though I'm no iOS fan, if you can spend only $150 on an SE3 with 100% battery health, that's a good investment knowing you will get software support for a minimum of 5 to 6 years. You only need to upgrade twice per decade. A15 will be a beast for years to come if two generations of iPhones used it.
SE3 might be the most underrated iPhone ever made and more people will appreciate it once they realize they hate Face ID and the notch like I do or miss the home button. SE3 will be the last of the mid-2010s classic iPhone design. The SE4 looking like a XR will make us miss Touch ID and appreciate the SE3 once SE4 is released next year.
Will the SE3 be the last iPhone of its kind?
    - Touch ID
    - Home button
    - Notch-less
    - LCD
    - Under 140 mm in height
    - Sim tray
The 13 series and SE3 owners may get an extra year of software updates by default since the non-14s have the same A15 chip. So we'll probably reach iOS21 minimum.

That phone is nostalgia...this video pretty much proves you don't need to upgrade every year. Iphones have been pretty much the same since the beginning and they keep working. Battery life obviously declines overtime and cameras get midly better but overall same user experience. I had the iphone SE back when it came out, upgrading from the iphone5C (anyone remember those 😂) I took all my photos during my trip to Norway on the SE and to date those are the best photos I've taken (it probably helps that Norway is beautiful) when people see pics of that trip they are blown away that they were shot on a "cheap" iphone.

I had the original iPhone SE before my now iPhone 12 Pro. Before the iPhone SE i had the iPhone 6 Plus but eventually after nearly 3 years I got tired of the huge size. A lot of people questioned why I “downgraded” or why i went with such a small phone. It’s funny because many people don’t remember that the first iPhone was literally the same size as the SE, everyone has simply got used to the bigger sized phone. Before getting the 12 Pro, I was going to get the 12 mini. However I thought to myself “I should treat myself and go high end and get the pro”. I somewhat regret my decision because I do miss the “smaller” phone size.

I had one I got from John Lewis for £250 for 128GB on clearance. Traded it in for Z Flip 3 for more than paid and regret it as basically a great iPod. I think like the 4S it should have stayed on previous iOS as iOS 15 killed the battery life and mine was brand new. Also loads of iOS 15 and apps/websites aren't optimised for the SE 2020. Agree on the typing coming from a 13 Pro Max! I used it as my main phone for a month to detox but missed waterproofing and wireless charging.

You should have left IOS 14. Faster with better battery life. I actually use my SE as my daily driver but I’m only using it as a phone. I don’t use any social media or games. I get home with 70% battery on average. I LOVE the size.

One hint: You should buy a better poweradapter and cable, because the normal ones give to low power and that damages the accumulator.
