I've never had a single problem with a Ford. Ever!! Just normal tires brakes tie rods. My fluids get changed very consistently, engine oil, diffs and all that. My highest mileage truck is my v10 with 340,000. We were going to get rid of it, but decided it wasn't worth much and we wanted to see how long it would go and it won't die. It's the truck I drive, I let the young guys drive the newer ones and take them home, as long as they don't get dui's. And to add to this, the dealer I get my trucks from has a true guru of a mechanic, he deeply looks into ever truck as they come in off the truck. So any of mine could have had minor problems from the factory but the dealers customers would never ever know. They are perfect by the time it gets to the customer. But that's a trait of a good family owner dealership.
I have the same issue with the keyless entry with my 23 F-250 XLT. My issue was intermittent however it was enough go make you go crazy. I had the same issue with my locks after a deer T-Boned me and I had to get it repaired at the body shop. The body shop couldn't figure out how to fix it and they had me take it to Ford. Spent about an hour there, it was lunch time, and they were able to figure it went into a safe mode shutting down non-essential items. I had received a notification on my phone about this but didn't think anything about it. Probably would have only taken 15 minutes if they had known that. But that was a $400 charge for the body shop to eat on that deal. So lesson learned: don't let your battery voltage go down and make sure when it is changed it is changed with the battery tender type attached so as not to lose voltage! Other than that, over 7K and no problems!
I purchased a 2019 F350 dually brand new and at 15,672 miles the 6.7 Powerstroke started leaking oil from rear main seal. Got rid of the truck and purchased a Chevy and have had no issues.
Not a single problem with either my 23 dually or 23 F150. Both have been great. All these new vehicles are very dependent on healthy batteries. Had the touch door handles quit in our 19 GT Mustang. It was the battery. Replaced and all back to normal.
My (white) family from Detroit have been UAW working the lines since the 1970s. There have always been diverse staff working those lines and years of great or shit production over time. It has nothing to do with “DEI” or “woke.”
I watched Scotty Gilmer's RUclips and he had pics of 2023 Ford vehicles in Dearborn, MI. As far as the eye can see. NTSA redlines Ford vehicles for safety issues. The problem is defective foreign-made OEM parts and or assembling the vehicles. This happens when you close manufacturing plants in the U.S. to save on labor.
Just coming from a Chevy 2500 gasser, going into a ford F-250 7.3. Three years ownership with the Chevy I’ve had many problems with the rear springs and the dealer won’t do crap about it besides replacing the pads over and over. Also the truck never sat level from the factory and told me it was the “Chevy lean” I’ve always ran mobile 1 oil since break in but I feel the 6.6 is a little under powered while towing so I’m hopeful the 7.3 does better. Looking forward to the straight axle too!
@MichaelBlocho good info from an owner. I hope the 7.3 does great for you. Problems are always a possibility with any car maker, and hopefully the ford will give you a great experience.
I have a 2021 F250 XLT with the 6.2l and love it. Just hitting 40k on it. Did have 2 minor recalls though. One for the wipers and one for loose insulation under the cab. Nearly every Ford I have ever owned has had an initial problem but was fine after getting them sorted out. Here is my list: 2008 Ranger - leaking windshield 2003 Expedition - leaking rear diff where the axle enters 1995 Mustang 6cyl - leaking rear main seal 1992 Ranger - leaking tailshaft on manual transmission
@@adamada101 mine gets 12 or so around town and around 15 on the interstate. Not too great but it is a heavy truck with a big v8. It’s not my daily driver though.
Ford Quality has been absolutely embarrassing for years and is only getting worse. They are way too worried about saving 10 cents on every part and being woke.
Ford has been cheap plastic for a while, and gm is owned by china. Ram is by far the best on the market. Even though they haven't revamped much over the year, that might be why they're good. The gas 6.4l since 19 has been fully forged down to the wrist pins and shares a lot with the demon. The transmission in the gas is bulletproof. The diesel transmission in the 2500 is a good transmission that was originally made for the tq in the 5.9l. It's fine if you for the 2500 if you use the tow haul mode when towing and do not jack up the power. It has a single disc clutch in 5th and 6th for smoother operation. When pulling heavy loads, it's not enough they're doing away with that transmission and going to a huge 8sp for their diesels. On top of that, they're going to put a gas-powered 6.7l cummins in it with 350hp and 660tq. All of the tq is available at 1,400rpms and stays at max tq until it shifts. Looks like 2026. That might be the best gas motor for an HD ever produced.
I'm not one with brand loyalty, as I've had RAM, Chevy and Ford trucks. I had a 2500 Ram with the cummins engine, and the only thing that did not go out of that truck was the motor. We traded it after 12 years as I just got tired of putting money in it. I had a Chevy Tahoe and had very few problems with it. I purchased a 1 ton Ford with the 6.7 Power Stroke in January of 2018, and two fluid leaks shortly after we purchased it, oil pan gasket and rear diff cover. Those were fixed, and we've had zero problems since then. If you go to any Ford dealership near us here in the KC area, most have very few Super Duty trucks on the lot, and they will not deal at all off sticker. The sticker price is just stupid high and I'm glad my truck only has 52K miles on it. Ram and Chevy are offering great deals right now, but I'm going to keep what I have.
agreed. It seems the quality checkers on the production line aren't doing a very good job. I used to work in the BMW plant and I've seen a lot of stuff.
I purchased a 2023 F 350 with the 6.7 beginning of February and made it to the house from dealership and the same power steering leak occurred. On the forms there appears to be many doing the same leak.
Good luck getting those little issues fixed. It’s a real fine looking truck! Age here is 67 and have been buying new vehicles for close to 45 years for business and personal use. Maybe I’ve become hardened over time to mechanical failures of all types from our heavy quarry equipment to our super large Cats. Take it in get it fixed and enjoy that sweet truck, shouldn’t be a big deal. . I’ve owned my share of Super Dutys and Chevs and anyone who tells you there’s a mechanical device that doesn’t ever break down is not telling the truth. We work our Fseries and Chevs hard, real hard and we’re repeat customers for over 40 years. But I guess this is what folks do nowadays….. do videos on everyday life problems? Just like the guy a couple years ago recording driving his brand new ‘22 Tundra and the rear passenger side wheel started to fall off. Have a good night!
We love the 7.3 in are 2024 f250 to bad the alarm system keeps going off for 5 months but they are working on it,an are power steering line blew at 400 miles
Well kind of. The ram I was able to get out and tow with it, it didn't blow me away at all, and after the leak, I lost my tail trading it. Once I bought this one, I went all in. So I'm stuck with working it and seeing what happens. I honestly couldn't afford to dump the ford because of this. I've owned 22 rams since 1988, I was very disappointed in the 24 after towing with it. And everyone voted for another ford. You are correct, all of them can have issues for sure.
It's really hard to believe you've had all these problems with the new Ford trucks you've come across. I ordered and took delivery of my 2024 F-350 Lariat in January. I haven't been able to find one single defect so far. I'm currently at 3,200 miles and I couldn't be more satisfied with my truck and my experience with Ford. BTW mine is also the 7.3 Godzilla and guess what, not a single problem with the engine yet either. I have however heard several friends that have major problems with their new Chevys and GMC pickups. I'm thinking you should probably just stick with your Chevy HD pickup and just leave the Fords to the Ford guys.
It would be comical if these things weren’t so expensive, but as long as ppl keep buying them, they have no incentive to make them more reliable or lower cost.
I have a 2009 silverado with 215,000 miles. The only people who complain about trucks are the ones who only own them for 6 months to make videos and get money.
Man sorry to hear about you bad luck with the tremor. Mine is now a couple months old and has not had any issues. I enjoy driving it and towing with it.
I am literally going to the dealership this morning to buy a 2024 XLT Tremor with a 7.3 L Godzilla and now I'm all freaking paranoid...... I'm ordering mine and it's going to take 4 to 7 months to come in but I got everything you could possibly get on it with the safe in the middle council everything and now I'm freaking worried
@@STATION26ADDISON Its June now and those electrical gremlins and power steering leak are still commonly posted online.... GM 6.6 Gasser is the best way to go
The fact that Ford sells a truck with the words Super Duty stamped on them no less, fails to include a standard issue rear positrac is a JOKE. The locker, when optioned, disengages at speed; guess what happens when you typically need a locker...tire speed.
Yeah it's a catch 22. Although this one is headed to the shop Monday and we'll see what they say. Although I do really like this truck. If you can order without putting big money down, by the time it gets built, I'll have tons more videos on how this tows and quality stuff, so by the time it gets in, you can pull the trigger and pick it up...or run for the hills...lol
This stuff sucks. Just spent a ton on a loaded 23 F150 Lariat and the seat is awful for my back. I am a tall and big guy and did not notice anything when test driving it. I loved my seats in the two Ram Rebels I have owned. Never had good luck with Fords. Always something when I drop 80k on a Ford.
Yep.I drove a Ford 150 for 5 years from 2016-2021. It killed my lower back. Moved into a GMC 2021 3500 and it was great. Same with the 2024 AT4 3500 that bought last year. No back pain.
Dude you got some bad luck when it comes to these trucks. I had a 350 tremor Zilla 39k no issues. Traded in on a 350drw standard 6.7 no issues now @11k no issues. Tow boats Rv tractor etc.. Love that tremor was close to buying its twin
Im seeing all these trucks become pos lately across the boared...Best truck ive owned so far is my 2021 Ram TRX..95k miles and not a single issue....But man its sad the prices are through the roof as quality is going downhill across the board from all manufacturers.
The problem with the gauges are from the plastic around the gauges. Also don’t buy the spray in bed liner from ford until you ask about the warranty because they did not warranty my 2023 f250 after it started pealing on the tailgate. If ford would rap the edges of the box and tailgate probably it would be a lot more durable.
I’ve owned different brands mostly Ford had really good luck with them until I got into the 6.0 as everyone knows. I got a lesson on it and after spending $$$ I went with a 2015 Silverado 6.6 and love it I personally would never own anything new due to poor quality and being overpriced
Ford bought back my 2020 f250 7.3 with 8000 miles. Transmission and torque converter problems. I bought another F2502022, 7.3 at 8000 miles transmission and torque converter problems again. Ford bought that one back and now I do not drive a Ford.
No worries at all, I didn't take it bad at all, it's super tall and the tremor style running boards are close to the doors so it's high to get up on those over standard boards which have a 4 inch drop over tremor boards.
I think part of all these problems being mentioned with different manufacturers is because of the race to have the absolute best power numbers and more and more efficiency. They all, especially Ford, want the most horsepower and torque. They keep getting pushed to get better mileage. Personally, I prefer the utmost reliability over a 1 or 2 mpg improvement. Big, HD trucks are just not gonna get 25 or 30 mpg, period. Also, I’m fine with a few ponies less in peak horsepower to have more reliability as well as more low-end torque. C’mon these are trucks! They seem too hell bent on peak numbers.
Man, I have had good luck with all of my pickups: Ford, Chevy, Dodge (even a Nissan)... and every time I hear these stories I cringe and feel awful that people have these issues.
Between me and the family, we've owned 9 Ford vehicles (mostly SUV's and trucks) and they all had catastrophic problems before 80k miles. I do need a new truck but I won't be buying a Ford anymore. Their quality control is absolute junk now too. It's unfortunate
I watched some of your videos and and surprise me a little that you have so many issues in the end of the day those trucks are designed for work i buy 2023 super duty with diesel engine and this truck is working every single day very hard with zero problems is 350 stx nothing fancy just simple things. I think people are spoiled a little because more things you put in the truck more problems you will have . Just imagine people 50 years ago also drove pick up trucks and they didn’t have all that stuff we have now is that really necessary don’t think so . Main thing is that truck is doing what was designed for and in my opinion is for work . If you want something fancy with bells and whistles get a Lexus 😂
If I was you I would give up on Ford....They used to be really good but quality sucks these days....No surprise last 3 or 4 years Ford number one in recalls
All domestic full size pickup trucks are absolutely abysmal for quality. It's always been this way. Dodge has always been the worst by far (I've had a few and am generally a big Mopar fan). Usually Chevy is a bit better than Ford, esp. engines. But they're all bad.
I've had great luck with my 2011 Dodge Ram hemi big horn 4x4. Now had 140K on it. Have only had to replace tires, one rubber brake line, brakes, battery, and driver side exhaust manifold. Truck has been awesome!
You need to increase your self appreciation and expect more from ford. Nothing else matters nothing. Get your money back and never buy ford again. Kinda easy when you respect yourself and your hard earned money.
So Jim Farley, the CEO, comes out and admits to poor quality concerns at Ford. Then u see guys with 100k Ford rolling around and complaining about quality. 😅😅😅😅😅😅. U made ur bed now sleep in it.
I'm just trying to provide info. Since the chevy did so well last year and keeps going. People voted, ford one the challenge. Not all are having issues, but I'm putting it in perspective for potential buyers.
Don’t understand why some people have such luck I never have issues with any ford or Chevy n lambs that’s a problem I’m it’s self but it’s normal for fiat
Your channel is not for me you don’t expect enough form ford I want to see you get angry and confrotn the dealership and email ford! Why watch your channel if your just calmly report the unacceptable issues
Sell the Ford and buy a Chevy. On TFL truck they said Ford was going to have quality control issues for at least 2 to 3 or so years, I believe it with what your going through its sucks and it's frustrating to say the least.
True, I actually did the Ike G with my 24 6.6 gas chevy before T.f...L and know it's an excellent truck....tons of towing kids on my channel....they did get my videos kicked off you tube for awhile, but I was bosting the chevy all last year before many and its still going great at over 30k miles. I brought the ford back based on votes and to give it one more shot...so far, not so well...lol
What is the story with ford quality control. There sending out trucks with problems constantly. There not able to get there shit together I was just about to buy a 2023 superduty in November and after hearing about all the problems decided it was definitely not worth spending 80k on something that had a good chance of having problems right from the start. Decided to buy a 2017 f250 lariat with 34k miles For 30k cash. Have had it for 4 months and not one single problem Fords loss not mine Hopefully they get there shit together soon
Toyota trucks suck lately too, what do you think. The new Tacoma snapping the front diff, catastrophic engine failures on a pile of Tundras too. For every bad luck story, for every brand, there’s thousands of good stories. That’s the way it is, IMHO anyway.

My (white) family from Detroit have been UAW working the lines since the 1970s. There have always been diverse staff working those lines and years of great or shit production over time. It has nothing to do with “DEI” or “woke.”
I’m sorry you’re having all of these issues. I’ve had luck with my fords and chevy’s from experience. I hope your luck changes my friend.
Here is my list:
2008 Ranger - leaking windshield
2003 Expedition - leaking rear diff where the axle enters
1995 Mustang 6cyl - leaking rear main seal
1992 Ranger - leaking tailshaft on manual transmission
Had the same truck in a 2017 and it eats gas? Do you find yours does? I have the 73 gas now and it’s way better on fuel
Worried about the agenda.
Gm is worse. Pos failing before the first oil change 😂
my 17 duramax has been a nightmare!
Kinda like every gm you pass with a light out? Only been like that for 30 years 😂
Yup, i was offered the same gray on my 2023 F150 Tremor. Growing on me now.
Man the quality on most cars these days are trash!
agreed. It seems the quality checkers on the production line aren't doing a very good job. I used to work in the BMW plant and I've seen a lot of stuff.
DEI & Affirmative Action
The 2020-2022 Ford Super Dutys seem to have the best quality and the best looking.
Ain’t no one experienced lifter failure beside a few commercial trucks.
We love the 7.3 in are 2024 f250 to bad the alarm system keeps going off for 5 months but they are working on it,an are power steering line blew at 400 miles
I agree my alarm sensors went off the other day, no reason at all.
Any update what happened? Any other issues
Seems like Ford is getting a pass while Ram didn't. It's all good. All manufacturers have issues.
Let us know the details when you get it fixed. I have a 23 super duty with the same issue. Other than that I love the truck.
Sorry to hear about all the troubles....the bed & bumper steps look absolutely horrible. #FORD
It's funny on a Chevy guy or a Ford guy does Chevy or Ford at they act like they're talking about their mother
I had the same power steering leak on my 23 super duty. I have a video on the fix.
It would be comical if these things weren’t so expensive, but as long as ppl keep buying them, they have no incentive to make them more reliable or lower cost.
I bet you leave your key and gun in the truck when you go inside a restaurant…because it has those buttons to get in
My 2021 Superduty has already had 6 recalls, nothing but Covid era junk being produced. I’m certain my dealer was thankful when my warranty ran out
I have a 2009 silverado with 215,000 miles. The only people who complain about trucks are the ones who only own them for 6 months to make videos and get money.
Meh, for 90k I expect my new truck not to leak.
GM 6.6 Gasser is the best way to go
Given the UAW and Shawn Fain negotiated a big labor deal with the big 3, nothing has changed - quality is still in the toilet!
My super duty is a 17 with 130k gas best truck I have ever owned.
i wish i could buy so many trucks !
The fact that Ford sells a truck with the words Super Duty stamped on them no less, fails to include a standard issue rear positrac is a JOKE. The locker, when optioned, disengages at speed; guess what happens when you typically need a locker...tire speed.
Wow - more problems; it’s kind of unreal
@Automotive Inquiries: Damn... I was gonna order a F-250 Lariat with 7.3 this week... now I am spooked.
My 2023 was also leaking power steering fluid from the line. Also had battery parasitic drain issues. Really starting to think Ford is just garbage.
The trucks are still driven in a limited amount at the factory and they didn't catch the fluid leak??!!!
Ford is known for low amperage issues. Everything from dash not working right to transmission shudders all due to battery/alternator
I missed all the fluid that was leaking. The truck was dry as a bone.
Sure glad those union workers got that pay and benefit increase. They build way better vehicles because of it.
The new super dutys are so much uglier than the previous generation IMO. Sad the quality isn't great either.
No back pain.
hi handsome, more videos.will you be upgrading the suspension?
Dude you got some bad luck when it comes to these trucks. I had a 350 tremor Zilla 39k no issues. Traded in on a 350drw standard 6.7 no issues now @11k no issues. Tow boats Rv tractor etc..
Love that tremor was close to buying its twin
Im seeing all these trucks become pos lately across the boared...Best truck ive owned so far is my 2021 Ram TRX..95k miles and not a single issue....But man its sad the prices are through the roof as quality is going downhill across the board from all manufacturers.
These issues are crazy. I'm not buying a new truck for at least 2 years. Everyone needs to get back to pre-pandemic levels.
Ford sure has alot of Quality issues
Ford bought back my 2020 f250 7.3 with 8000 miles. Transmission and torque converter problems. I bought another F2502022, 7.3 at 8000 miles transmission and torque converter problems again. Ford bought that one back and now I do not drive a Ford.
Brother, you seem to have some bad luck, hope everything clears up for you.
Are you really short or is the truck really tall?
I'm 6 foot 2. The truck is tall, factory 2 inch lift....tremor
@@automotiveinquiries9673 I was hoping that was the answer. Hope it didn't come off the wrong way. I have one coming in a month or so. Peace.
Most recalls three years in a row. 😢🍋
Man, I have had good luck with all of my pickups: Ford, Chevy, Dodge (even a Nissan)... and every time I hear these stories I cringe and feel awful that people have these issues.
My wife's mini, on the other hand, has had copious amounts of leakage and work done. :/ Still runs well though, closing in on 100K.
Lot of money to leak oil on your driveway 😳
Should of brought a 6.4 Hemi lol jk jk im trolling 😂
Gave up on Ferd over 24 years ago, due to endless issues. I see nothing has changed.
Name me a vehicle that doesn’t have it’s own list of issues. Let’s keep it real man…
ALL Manufactures are going down hill when it comes to reliability. So sad.
Its sad that prices are so expensive & quality so low on pretty much everything in our society anymore, hopefully not a permanent thing!
If I was you I would give up on Ford....They used to be really good but quality sucks these days....No surprise last 3 or 4 years Ford number one in recalls
If you. Would buy a xlt you won't have all these problems keep buying all them bells weasels
Looks like I’m not buying a Ford.
hi handsome, be sure that the lifters should be an issue.
FORD IS A BIG BAG OF TURDS.
Unchecked capitalism.
Why does Wall Street build the cheapest shit garbage on planet Earth ?
What did you expect it's a ford ?
Ford seems to have become Fix Or Repair Daily again. Not that GM or Rams are much better. Toyota, too. What's a truck guy to do??
What kind of clown show is going on with Ford?
Don’t understand why some people have such luck I never have issues with any ford or Chevy n lambs that’s a problem I’m it’s self but it’s normal for fiat
why don't you give up on trucks and buy a car?
Don’t buy ford no more please the parts take so long to get because it’s from China
FORD would like to thank you for continuing to accept their garbage and then returning for more. SMFH
What is the story with ford quality control. There sending
out trucks with problems constantly. There not able to get there shit together
I was just about to buy a 2023 superduty in November and after hearing about all the problems decided it was definitely not worth spending 80k on something that had a good chance of having problems right from the start. Decided to buy a 2017 f250 lariat with 34k miles
For 30k cash.
Have had it for 4 months and not one single problem
Fords loss not mine
Hopefully they get there shit together soon
Toyota trucks suck lately too, what do you think. The new Tacoma snapping the front diff, catastrophic engine failures on a pile of Tundras too. For every bad luck story, for every brand, there’s thousands of good stories. That’s the way it is, IMHO anyway.
